Yet another piece of WereNEO AU fanart, though with Tenna as the character of focus. Thought it could compliment the first piece I did in a way where you get both character's reactions in the current situation (also both ideas spawned in my head and I couldn't not do them both). Worked on this straight after the first, hence me already having another drawing on hand to post in such a short time.

Love seeing the horrors Tenna gotta go through all because of his clinginess and concern for the little mailman. If only he knew... </3

I love, love, LOVE your wereneo AU! (Both DR and UT) It has to be one of my favorite AUs! Are you OK with people making fanart or fanfic of it?

I adore how you draw Neo. And your UT designs are so charming. I can't believe it took me this long to see Tenna in a long coat. And don't get me started on Spamton and his beast form (and Tenna's beast form too)

Also, Will Neo react to seeing a crack (new one in UT case) on Tenna's screen?

Happy you like them, Tenna's too! I was a little unsure what to do with my UT Tenna since I gave Spamton little more drastic makeover and felt like Tenna would need one too for balance, but the purple crt with weird cracked greenish screen has become iconic for his face since it directly reflects what we see in that trash heap asset :') Changing that felt wrong so I opted for simpler changes like givin him that long brown trench coat. Glad it works!

As to your question, with sufficient level of clarity, ut Neo would definitely react to any sort of new injury on Tenna with concern

Then NEO proper, as we see in the comic, it's currently the reason Tenna's screen is cracked and we can assume it eagerly wants to make it crack some more real soon

I am so normal right now about @tiernablue's WereNEO AU right now that the recent comic update gave me an idea for this drawing. didn't exactly turn out like i hoped (the pain of tryna keep a mostly monochrome pink with the bg whilst tryna balance it with a lineless element), but it was fun regardless...

It's such a good AU, and it scratches the part of my brain that is a fan of transformation horror in media. Btw y'all should definitely check out the AU here if you got the chance

I imagine when you fight either Undertale wereneos, they don't say much. Just mournfully growl or howl the of their partner (maybe even a favorite pet name).

I think the beast's ability to speak is entirely dependent on their current level of clarity and general control of the beast form. Spamtons voice would be slower and deeper than in it's normal form with kind of growly undertone. For Mandible I think it's voice would sound little like shattering glass given the state of it's face.

I hope I'm right but I think it was you who was musing about my ut Spamtons apparent lack of speech quirk and how you could still tell from the interactions that the guy is a motormouth and interrupts people a lot and that was such a nice read (like all your tags, seriously, thank you for taking the time to write so extensively!💙)

I love the letter writing speech quirk most people give ut Spamton but I knew I couldn't do that consistently so I didn't, some also give him similar thing he has going on in canon but little toned down maybe. I did think about a speech quirk I could give my version that I could write consistently, but given that I also thought that ut wereneo variant would be one-off I ended up not implementing one in the ask answer :') But I did imagine the guy is kind of loud, fast talker that tends to interrupt people (and himself) without intending to. Not to the point it would get annoying to write around but still noticeable.

I also briefly considered he'd speak in "tweets" (twitters original 140 character limit per post) but I'm not 100% on that because I'd need extra layer of attentiveness when writing his dialogue to not exceed that character limit. Now I'm mainly just not stressing about it too much and seeing if some more immediately obvious speech quirk forms naturally when I write his dialogue from now on :') But thank you again for musing about this in your tags, those are super inspiring to read 💙

As a bonus, here's a sample of what I think Beast Spamton could sound like in "beast mode" (no talking, just noises). Darkbeast Paarl from Bloodborne, specifically it's "breathing" and "hostile" voice samples (not the lightning sounds since I haven't decided if the beasts are capable of using magic)

Volume warning especially at the hostile bit, this guy is loud and annoying :D Come to think of it, dr NEO could sound little bit like this too when it screeches, just more robotic.

My god, Spamton grows like 12 times his height every time he transforms in both ut and vanilla, genuinely understandable why he was screaming in the pilot comic

Must have been such a gentle experience to be peacefully unpacked as a file on a disk back in the basement, now its just forced system update every single time

trying to figure out the body shape was the experience ever for the side fullbody. i see why you said you never will draw Mandible more than once or twice in the first post featuring em </3

(on another note: your works are very inspiring to me with wanting to create. seeing your stuff brings joy whenever I scroll by it, so some fanart seems like the least I can do as a thanks for such wonders :p)

WHOA HOW COOL!! I really love the side view especially, shows the structure of the body supa well given how the only picture of Mandible I provided was from top angle with text blocking some of it, but you got it down great! It would definitely be something like that :} And the one where Tenna is clutching the soul and looking back at Frisk like that,,, you made the TV guy sad so you have summoned t̷h̷e̵ ̷i̵n̷s̵e̶c̴t̷ Aw the little interaction with Spam and Mandible 💙 Even as this beast thing Tenna's able to pull off those adorable expressions :') Also I like you included the glow of the artificial soul in all of these and accurately around the middle of the spine thing :) In Mandible's case its located around top of the thorax instead of the chest area. If I was super realistic the heart would stretch out through it's whole body but I don't think the soul can elongate like that lmao Yeah I didn't design Mandible with sequential drawing in mind, it was mainly drawn to look menacing in that final panel. I could imagine making at least something of an official reference picture if just because the one in the comic is like,,, super rushed at and it shows aaa

i love your Undertale spamtenna so much! I was looking at it and the first thing I saw was frisk just standing as Tenna became a giant ant monster. no thoughts behind that head :)

Thank you! I was initially hesitant to do it since I personally don't really like AU's that require you to know more than two layers of information to understand whats going on (in this case you'd need to get its both undertale au and wereneo au smashed together) but people seem to like it anyway :') Maybe it covers my ass a little that it can also be boiled down to ut au where Spamton has NEO.

From the player perspective Frisk goes through the entire game with the same deadpan expression (we know from character dialogue they have expressions but we don't get to see it) so drawing them having zero reaction to the most fucked up shit is one of my favourite genres of comedy :D

Though, I feel like that info box I made for Mandible is little misleading.

It's not like, slow in general.

It's slow in relation to Beast Spamton (whos supposed to be exceptionally fast in terms of the game mechanics)
