I gave in and made some Timelord OCS and a babel. I found what babel are on the wiki and I just had to make one.
The wiki said they look like the shaydes sooooo I ran with it. Hedvi put a sticky note on borises face.
I am still fleshing out the characters (they are getting horrendously traumatized)
regardless Strykath is pathetically in love with his wife Hedvi. Uhhhh Hedvi went the Arcalian chapter of academy, they have the green robes and Strykath was in the prydonian chapter that's why he has the red robes.
That's all I have so far honestly
And Boris is my goat already hshs aight ill stop rambling now
#time lord oc#the babels galliffey#gallifrey#time lords#ocs#art dump#i am just rambling actually#doctor who#oc#art#aaaaa#i got their names from a random name generator#Boris and the babels are kinda niche i think#strykath is so pathetically in love with his wife i cant-#docter who ocs#boris is my new goat#all three of them are my freaks#why do my sketches look better#dang

Ace: Ah yes, the four love languages. Ace, pointing at Romana: My parents never told me they were proud of me. Ace, pointing at Brax: Please pay attention to me. Ace, pointing at Narvin: I’m so fucking tired, please, let me rest for five minutes. Ace, pointing at Narvin: Touch starved. Narvin: Hey, why do I get two?!

I try to avoid writing erotica in this way. However. I think it is a bit unfair when people screenshot snippets of erotica out of context and say "Oh my god this is so cringey and stupid." Because, well, yes, it is. But how this kind of erotica functions is by getting you into such a state of altered consciousness that objectively stupid turns of phrase only get you going even more.

I love early seasons supernatural aesthetics so much. The isolated highways, funky motel rooms, neon signs, shiny guns and shiny cars, leather jackets, old books, through a film camera lens in seasons one and two, makes for such a specific atmosphere. It transfers the isolation Sam and Dean experience so well, cramped into the seats of a 67’ Chevy impala, claustrophobically un-alone while individually lonely. The nasty, sometimes created with horrible special effects, monsters really do look monstrous, unsettling more than outright terrifying. With yellow eyes, in dirty clothes, glitching and pale. The whole colour palette is grey-ish and cold, you almost feel the contrasted darkness, the distrust, the nagging belief that something wicked may be hiding behind every corner, behind every corner of your own self as well. Idk. The blood looks dark, the sulfur looks sickeningly yellow, the skin looks unnaturally pale. It’s all so horror-coded, and gives such an atmosphere of instability in your own existence in the world, which aligns with the themes of the seasons. This atmosphere, to me, makes it a better horror show than if it had had better special effects and scarier monsters. Because the horrifying is in the daily existence, in how you are, rather than what you face.

Broke: the Master hypnotised Lucy into marrying him and joining in his evil plans
Woke: the Master went through the whole conventional courting process during which he slowly revealed his evil plans to Lucy
Bespoke: the Master crashlanded in Lucy's backyard straight from the end of the universe, she walked out to find this cute guy in too big clothes emerging out of her trashcan and spent the rest of the night watching him sitting on her kitchen floor eating tuna straight from a can and washing it down with heavy cream, talking about how his name is the Master, he's an alien, he's going to become the prime minister and take over the world and could really use a wife for the process, and she was slowly but surely thinking of the cat she had as a child

I think there's something very frustrating about how so many activist events, like the haka in the New Zealand parliament, are brushed off as spontaneous acts of passion instead of carefully planned and coordinated efforts. I see it a lot of with indigenous activists especially, and it feels like a lot of people lean on that idea because they like the romantic idea of activism being spontaneous passion but it's incredibly infantalizing to ignore the efforts that these activists and protestors and politicians put into making these things happen, making their voices heard and preparing their communities and allies to stand as a united front when it's time.

so the tardis is technically infinite but not quite (at least in my personal theory) so wouldn’t it be funny if there was just a tiny group of aliens living somewhere in the tardis just hanging around, staying out of trouble

Maddie being introduced as this literal ray of sunshine and then being the first to beat along to Piltovers turn to martial law. Her interactions with Vi mystifying her as “one of the good ones.” One of the good Zaunites. She was always discriminatory toward Zaunites, they just didn’t make it overt at her introduction. The turn to fascism and discrimination can start with anyone. Including a literal ray of sunshine.

brax being brought in to handle the doctor's messes is funny, and other time lords despairing at brax's messes is also funny, but we should force the doctor to handle brax's messes someday. brax destabilises the capitol somehow and the time lords drag the doctor back home to deal with his weird brother despite the fact that the doctor is supposed to be the weird brother
