and i’ve had a couple personally profound realizations. i really don’t think im super extroverted, i enjoy keeping to myself and whatever i see as mine. i will participate when engaged, but its not typical of my spirit to overwhelmingly desire that engagement. i am a very reclusive thing at times, which may or may not be a character trait, and may or may not develop and change with the development of self.
but…this reclusion needs to be a retreat into the self, not a pursuit of distraction. i’m afraid i’ve forgotten myself in this age of overstimulation capital, or maybe i’ve even robbed myself of past opportunities for internal discovery as a consequential trade off. i don’t wanna do that anymore. if i am inherently a hermit, my energy will be used for the betterment of self, not the avoidance of boredom or inactivity.
