These metal things are fun to chase down, but yield little reward.

Whatever is watching her gleefully dismantle the Ravager, though…that’s a different story.

Her head lifts, ears swiveling this way and that to triangulate a position — there. The Manticore turns slowly, then practically bounces toward her almost-hidden audience.

Aloy had heard the carnage. Ravagers had a distinct rumble to them, especially when they hit the ground. She had slowly made her way over the hill, bow drawn as she crouched. Each step taken as carefully as possible.

Dropping to a knee in the tall grass, her eyes scanned the field in front of her. Tapping her focus for things unseen was habit. But her eyes had already found the commotion. Something was tearing into the Ravager as its machine components shut down, the light disappearing from its eyes. Her Focus coming back with no data on the thing before her. Getting a better look, it was -- something.

A better look was bad. Oh shit! It was coming towards her. It had seen her. How? Aloy drew her bow, an arrow ready to shoot. Waiting, maybe she was overreacting. It was just coming into the area. Yeah, that was it. She must have stepped on something that alerted it. Maybe it had alerts like Stalkers -- or she'd missed it & scared an animal that alerted it.

I am still working on the wording for verses, so here's a quick rundown.

Main. - Takes place after the events of Forbidden West & Burning Shores. Aloy is prepping for Nemesis & looking for ways for them to fight back against it when it arrives on Earth.

Apocalypse. - This verse can be used for any apocalyptic-based world. Zombies or no zombies does not matter. Aloy is a skilled hunter. She uses her skills to hunt in the Rocky Mountains, trading furs & meats with travelers. Her skills are also for hire; a traveler who needs protection or help her bow can be hired if you can find her.

Resident Evil. - Still under construction. Aloy is a test tube child. That's all I have right now.

Assassins Creed. - Still under construction. Unsure what direction I would like to go with this verse right now. Please let me know if you have any ideas!

Tomb Raider/Uncharted. - Aloy was part of a tribe called the Nora found on a hidden away island. Much like Himiko caused storms to strand people on Yamatai. The Nora had storms stirred to keep people from finding their island. For Centuries, they protected an artifact that could assist with the end of humanity.

Modern. - Still under construction. Aloy is most likely still a clone of Elisabet Sobeck. But she continued Sobeck's studies & was working on creating machines to help save humanity. The events of Horizon are not on the horizon (ha I am funny). Will probably give Aloy a military background.
