time travel au w/ crow ⭐

wanted to play around with a time travel au for my favoritest blorbo in which post final shape crow finds himself waking up as his former self in the past :''D been thinking about this au for months rent-free and i just think it'd be interesting! from suddenly being separated from his ghost and essentially being mortal again to bearing the knowledge of all what's to come- I think crow would have to grapple with all of that all while struggling trying to fix everything by himself. partly inspired by the vivid, almost lucid dreams/nightmares i have where i wake up as my younger self w/ all the knowledge of present day/ the future. i also imagine it'd be jarring to suddenly wake up as your former self again, so i'd imagine crow would want to change his look to differentiate himself form uldren. but that would also on the flip side bring attention to him from his allies, i'd imagine. like what happened to uldren, number 1 hater of all of sol. much to chew on.... the possibilities are endless!!! crow meeting his ghost who at this point has no idea who he is (but probably definitely knows that he's his chosen guardian, the problem's just that he's still alive) the flip to where suddenly its guardian finding their ghost and going 'i've been looking all over for you!' to how he'd face mara about all of this.... how he'd face all of his traumas and struggle and fall and still get up again and vow to never stop trying to be kind, even if he makes mistakes, even if it isn't perfect, even if he can't ever undo everything like he desperately wants to, etc. what matters is that you get up regardless and keep trudging forward with love. gwah!! im gnawing at my desk. im ripping a chunk off my computer. crow living rent free in my mind forever i fear

I came up with a Destiny 2 AU where Ghosts can make human-shaped holograms around their shells using the Light. It's lowkey inspired by @jam-etc's drawings of human versions of a few NPC Ghosts.

I had a lot of fun designing Asher's Ghost, who I assume uses the Gensym Scribe shell (above.) I also had loads of fun coming up with an outfit for my Titan's Ghost, Matchstick (below.)
