One of my favourite sets of photos. Was walking around and came up on the fountains outside Saint Sulpice. There was this family with an older brother teaching the younger one how to kick a football (at his middle brother, no less, who is out of frame). I love the transition from 'ok what do i do' to 'ok ready?' with this super confident pose. One of the most fun parts of hiking in the Swiss Alps are the large number of cattle everywhere grazing with their cow bells swinging and chiming all the time. Continuing on from yesterday, I really cannot believe I covered so much it #isleofskye in just 2 days. There is truly so much to see and do, I could have spent weeks there. The fairy pools were a nice cap off to the day. Luckily, start of June was just the beginning of the tourist season so, minus a few people, I had the place to myself. Weather was on and off again, so had to make the quick trip in between showers but it was well worth it. (at Fairy Pools)

The landscape on the #isleofskye is so rugged and beautiful, yet still accessible for all. No matter you level, you can enjoy every part of the Scottish Highlands to some degree. (at Cuillin)

Between on-again-off-again showers, the sun shone through for just a few mins to illuminate the Neist Point Lighthouse. Was very lucky to get out here, not just because the road is quite a fun 1-lane drive but also because of the random stop and a very helpful local who told me that i must, must make it out here. If the weather held off i would have walked out to the edge of the cliff, but alas has to settle for this. (at Neist Point Lighthouse)

I am a huge sucker for cute animals, and baby lambs are right up there. Now put a baby lamb following her mother up the mountain on the Isle of Skye as a storm rolls in... That is worth a photo! (at Quiraing)

Stopped in Glenfinnan to see the bridge from #harrypotter. The bridge was really underwealming since the vantage point is terrible, unless you want to hike the mountains around it for the beautiful downward looking shot. However, turn the other way and you get an incredible view of Loch Shiel where Bonnie Prince Charlie began the Jacobite revolution.
