Could I start with any of the games or do I need to play in order?

Welcome fren >:)) Honestly each story is independent of each other so when it comes to that you don't have to worry.

Gameplay wise I enjoy 5 the best and it's honestly not a bad point of entry (especially since storywise it precedes all the other games)! I just worry that if you enjoy it and end up picking up the older games you won't like them as much cause the quality of life stuff isn't there haha.

I have mixed feelings about 6 and 7, I did enjoy them overall tho!

Got disgaea on psp and as an advance wars fan this is tickling my tactics itch the right way. Also the writing slaps. This shit kinda peak ya'll..
