Holyyyy fuck never thought about that.

I cannot believe I have never discussed temperature/breath play with Lucifer! He can breathe and conjure fire, THINK OF THE POSSIBILITIES! His hot mouth on yours, your body wants you to pull away but you can't bring yourself to do so. The danger is enticing! Not to mention the near burns he could leave on your skin as he trails kisses and his hands up and down your body, your sensitive flesh reacting to his ministrations. Of course, he wouldn't use it on your most delicate areas, he'd never risk hurting you like that. I could see him losing control a time or two, a few small flames escaping and burning your skin ever so slightly. Nothing ever beyond mild second degree burns. It would hurt for a moment, but now that memory would be etched on your body forever. Your scars and burns symbolizing the love and passion he has for you that his concentration completely falls apart around you when you two are intimate.

It absolutely brings a whole new meaning to searing hot kisses.~

Under the Scarlet Moon (1): Quiet Winds

WARNINGS/TAGS: Many mentions of dissociation, and dissociation but not harmful/prolonged (both), mentions of autism but not overstimulation unless you squint real hard (Lucifer), some bits of cursing here and there, mentions of isolation from depression (Lucifer), mentions/thoughts of murder and cannibalism (Alastor), denial of feelings (both). 

MY COMMENTARY: 

~I headcanon that Lucifer is autistic and pansexual. I’m pretty sure yall in the fandom do too, but if some of yall don’t, don’t come after me please. That’s kind of idiotic anyway. 

~I headcannon Alastor being gay, demiromantic and demisexual. Sex repulsed until that bond is formed, and then he becomes sex neutral. Of course, he doesn't know what the fuck that is, and is in denial.

~As always, you can send suggestions! Please do so only in my ask box. This is so I can know which are suggestions and which are just comments about my writing or something.

~This is my first time writing a Hazbin story, and I’m excited to finally do it! I hope to see myself grow over my many one-shots I plan to do! Thank yall for reading!

Under the Scarlet Moon (1): Quiet Winds

Lucifer, standing out on the hotel’s balcony with his apple cane leaning on the railing and hat over the apple, is looking towards the moon. Well, as much a “moon” you can get in Hell. Scarlet sphere above him, pentagram inside it. But still-a moon. 

He just stares, mind blank. Today was a bit…much. He’s still getting used to the hustle and bustle and chaos of the hotel, Charlie’s motley crew that is chaotic and in every sense of “motley crew”. It’s quite different from his mansion. Alone, surrounded by only ducks to keep him company. 

He’s still very much getting used to socialization as well. It’s been about 8 years since he’d really talked to someone. 

It doesn’t help that he’s autistic as well. 

He’s not…upset, per se. He just needed a moment. So now he’s out here. And since his mind is blanked, slight dissociation as he stares out at the scarlet moon, he does not notice a certain someone teleporting in through shadows until his static-ridden radio voice speaks up. 

“My dear king,” Alastor says quietly.

(They banter, sure, but they’ve become…somewhat frie1nds? It’s a little unclear.-

But Lucifer, despite himself, is starting to…catch feelings? 

“No. No, that can’t be it. Lilith, she-nope, no. Stop thinking about her.”

-And Alastor can tell that Lucifer doesn’t need any of that right now.)

Lucifer jumps, whipping his head around to who he knows is Alastor, with that distinctive voice. 

“For my dad’s sake, don’t sneak up like that!” Lucifer breaths out, one clawed hand clutching his suit jacket at the side tightly, the other gripping the railing. 

Alastor chuckles but doesn’t say anything, instead moving to stand next to him on the railing. He keeps a distance, a few feet away. 

Lucifer stands there and watches him and then catches what he’s doing and looks away quickly, his eyes finding the moon once again. 

Silence. 

Well, at least between the two.

Comfortable silence between the two. 

Soft breaths, Alastor’s slight but quiet static. 

Sounds of Hell below them. Cars whooshing by. Some honking. Somebody yelling at someone, the words not able to be understood by the pair above. 

They’re both looking up and at the moon.

Silence that lasts a long time, at least 5 minutes. But it’s fine by the deer and the fallen angel. 

Before a quiet, soft,

“Alastor?”

He hums in response, slightly staticky. Like the radio prick man he is

“Uhm…well, uh, why are you…here? O-out with me, I mean, hah…” “Damnit. That was so fucking awkward..” Lucifer sighs internally. 

“I was headed out here to clear my head as well. That boisterous spider has been deliberately flirting with me. Your daughter has told me I am not permitted to kill and devour him, much to my dismay.”

Lucifer’s lips curl slightly, disgusted by cannibalism, despite being ruler of hell since the beginning. 

And silence, before, “Oh…that’s…uh, that-that’s a good reason to be out here…I, uh, don’t like Angel that much either…” He says, a bit awkward, per usual…he sighs internally again. Damn the autism, and damn the eight year isolation. 

Alastor doesn’t really respond besides a small nod, hoping that the king would see. He can tell that this is a moment for silence, and not a moment to banter about his awkwardness. 

And he likes the silence as well anyway. 

So once again, 

Silence. 

At least between the pair. 

Lucifer sighs softly, dissociating slightly. But he wonders what Alastor’s thinking. Is he thinking? Or is he dissociating a little, mind blanked, like him. He steals a glance at the thought, and sees Alastor just standing there, microphone cane against the railing and leaning against it, beside the cane. 

Alastor doesn’t notice the glance. Or if he does, he doesn’t react at all. 

Lucifer looks back ahead at the moon, with a slight, barely audible sigh. 

Silence. 

That lasts a long time. 

He's not sure how long. 

Alastor’s not sure how long. 

After a while of it, Lucifer finds himself inching slightly towards Alastor. He doesn’t even realize at first, until he notices that he’s a bit farther away from his apple cane and hat. His cheeks dust with a soft, barely noticeable gold. But he can’t bring himself to move away. 

Instead, he inches closer again as the blush fades. 

Alastor doesn’t care, and he doesn’t show anything that he notices to Lucifer. He huffs softly in acknowledgement of this development, too soft for the king to hear, and lets him. 

Closer,

closer,

closer,

Until Lucifer realizes there’s only like, a foot of distance and not the three or four. He looks away, his cheeks dusting gold again, but doesn’t move. 

He doesn’t want to move. 

And Alastor? He finds himself not wanting him to move away either. 

A light red rises to his cheeks. 

His heart picks up just slightly.

He swallows. 

“Wait a damn minute-what the Hell am I doing?” He snaps in his thoughts. “These feelings-what is this?! I don’t feel ‘flustered’! I’m The Radio Demon, for Satan’s sake!” 

But yet…even he can’t push these feelings away. So, he hopes Lucifer doesn’t notice his red-tinted cheeks. 

And his swallow. 

And he inches closer too. 

Lucifer notices his inch closer and can’t help but smile softly. 

So he inches,

closer, 

closer, 

closer,

Until there’s inches of space between them. 

And neither the stag nor the serpent move away...
