Consider the fact that even if L told Light his full name, Light couldn't kill him because he'd spell it wrong. Lawliet is not pronounced at all like how its spelled and imagining Light writing down like ten different versions and then sobbing when he accidentally makes L immune to the death note ( because thats what happens if you misspell a name four times ) brings me great joy
