First year without this man in my life. It didn't feel right just writing 'To Mum' in the Christmas card. And only receiving one card in return. Dad would always go get the cards. Often he couldn't decide between two cards and would end up buying both and sending one from mum and one from dad! Christmas Day morning was at home and the afternoon at my parents. Then Boxing Day they'd come over. This year will be different. My mum is spending Christmas Day at my house. We never were a family for big, noisy get-togethers.
