if you don't do anything else today,
Please have a moment of silence for the people who were killed instead of freed when news of emancipation finally reached the furthest corners of the american south.
have another moment for the ledgers, catalogs, and records that were burned and the homes that were destroyed to hide the presence of very much alive and still enslaved people on dozens of plantations and homesteads across the south for decades after emancipation.
and have a third moment for those who were hunted and killed while fleeing the south to find safety across the border, overseas, in the north and to the west.
black people. light a candle, write a note to those who have passed telling them what you have achieved in spite of the racist and intolerant conditions of this world, feel the warmth of the flame under your hand, say a prayer of rememberance if you are religious, place the note under the candle, and then blow it out.
if you have children, sit them down and tell them anything you know about the life of oldest black person you've ever met. it doesn't have to be your own family. tell them what you know about what life was like for us in the days, years, decades after emancipation. if you don't know much, look it up and learn about it together.
This is Juneteenth.
white people CAN interact with this post. share it, spread it.

Oooooh the Saturnian urge for self sacrifice ooooooh I can’t help myself oooooooh I need to do more meaningful volunteer work which uses up my emotions and body to ease the sufferings of others ooooooooh let me be used until there’s nothing left because I can’t see my existence as meaningful otherwise, let me be used up to the point of death because that will be my only contentment in this life ooooooh
(Currently resonating with my sidereal Cancer Saturn 6th, as chart ruler and lord of 12th - the oooh’s are meant to sound like Jennifer Coolidge, and no I don’t condone this. My malefic debilitated in Cancer just makes me dysfunctional in that sign’s expression.)

Chani has a position open for a copywriter, and I’m frustrated by the fact that I’m underqualified 😭 I wish I could just submit my angular virgo moon as part of my resume.

Sharpening your pencils can be Mercury remediation. You don’t write with anything less than precise (both tools and words). You don’t indulge or validate anything less than perfection. You don’t settle. You just don’t settle period. Idealistic it may seem, because often the ideal of perfection is something we approach more than hit the list of standards for, but it is still a worthy ideal of pursuing. You can still approach it, you get closer and closer to it each time you try, which is the practice of refinement—Virgoan. Incremental and even non-linear progress may be, but perfection will only be achieved through a method which reflects its nature, which returns me to point one. If you want legible writing, sharpen your pencils. Don’t let your hand scrawl, or for ideas to lose their sense and float away from you. Capture them with your tongue and don’t mince your words when you begin to get a taste for them.
For me this has always been a fixation (virgo moon square pluto), with which I have done my best to enable my approach towards—think of how Athena was born fully matured, armed and ready to battle, I love that—, and that starts with equipping yourself with the right tools. Sharpening your pencils and choosing the correct paper. Lined, unlined, with margins, the date—if necessary, with the correct formatting and address, it goes on. God knows we need these things perfected to a routine that we snap into upon reflex to sustain any sense of material order, and cleanliness, purity of adherence to principles, and precision enables Mercury to do its best work.
(My virgo venus may make me materially frivolous in others’ eyes, but God knows I don’t settle, and only invest in things which bring me joy in my pursuit of perfection. I am much happier adhering to my principles than without. Virgo’s desire for purity aligns very well with maintenance of the mundanities of life, all in order to ensure we are be able to pursue the higher order things we all desire. Mercury teaches us to be realistic—by simply not functioning when its swiftness not enabled—in working from the ground up. In fact, when I think of Mercury at His best, I think of the Tower of Babel before its fall.)

Sometimes having a Saturn ruled 11th just means you make friends with old people really quickly, or that you are often the odd one out because of your age.

An apt way for fixed sign venuses may be the long term accruement of interest in savings accounts, locked investment accounts, and trusts. Things which are incredibly long term and guaranteed income at fixed, stable rates.

a friend once told me of how their aries mercury would conceptualise via how things contrast, and are divided, and i have been thinking more on my libra mercury, which i realise so often is also based in relative thinking but in a way which leads to establishing connection based on similarity between things instead.
compare (libra) vs. contrast (aries).
this is just such a cute note on the axis lol. i love it.
also, libra is about establishing connection and striking deals. likeness is an important quality to sustain relationships. it fortifies things, grants one assurance and trust of similar key motivations. all in all, a good deal is one that can be indulged in such a pleasurable way.

Taurus sun, libra moon, in reception to a venus aries. Ouch. Got into a fight with a friend today. My emotions have been subject to the influx of all my social interactions—I’ve been more extroverted lately and this has lead to an interesting time.

transit notes: GOD DEAR FUTURE ME PLEASE DO NOT INGEST TOO MUCH CAFFEINE WHEN A LEO MOON IS OPPOSITE AQUARIUS PLUTO. The effects of harsh pluto/moon transits (to both transit and natal) often have the effect of excess intoxication, disorientation, and delusion—sometimes to the point of mania—at least in my personal experience.
For me, this leo moon opposition is now occurring within my 6/12 axis, so the emphasis upon heart health (particularly due to caffeine sensitivity, thanks to my mercury/saturn square) is striking.
I’d like to hear of others’ personal experiences though. Let me know of your observations with pluto aspects to inner planets!
