Join the cool kids for the annual Real Time Read of A Discovery of Witches by Deb Harkness. Most libraries have eBook copies to loan, but there are two versions of the audiobook, once condensed and one unabrigded. You'll need the unabridged for the real time read. Its just one chapter today, so you can catch up on Saturday if you need time to get a copy of the book somewhere.

Hello friends and followers
I want to share this link with you for a FREE one week at home pilates challenge this week from the program that I subscribe to, Lindywell, created by Robin Long. It is really free, no credit card required, and it is especially designed for women and the fact that we lose muscle after a certain age (lower than you are probably thinking). I hope you will take a look at it.

What I really like about A Discovery of Witches is that there's fabulous plot lines throughout the entire thing, and it's so much fun. Fabulous storytelling. But the heart of this show comes from a sexy, brooding, grumpy murder baby who's been grumpy and brooding for an eternity and a half, until he meets a golden sunshine witch who teaches him how to not be so grumpy and brooding, and maybe actually let himself be happy again, and they're both very sexy about it.
The stupidly powerful golden sunshine witch also charms and steals the heart of the elegant vampire queen, who spent several eternities hunting witches for sport. Whoops, guess she has a daughter now; however did that happen?

It takes a special kind of stupid to spend hours upon hours staring at unblurred photos of those three boys, which you know the septics have done, and not see that they look exactly like Ben and Sophie in different ways. Or it takes a special kind of evil to know they look like their parents and continue to spread the lie that they don’t just to give a little boost to their utterly broken self esteem.
The only thing that is gross is that anon's ask and Patty's answer.
It is clear to anyone with function eyes and brain functions that Ben adores his kids. And it's safe to assume the feeling is mutual. Ben and Sophie have never trot out their kids for the paps. It takes a special kind of stupid, and a massive dose of denial, to think they do. They've always protected their privacy. You could tell Ben was pissed in some of those Buenos Aires pap shots.
I very much doubt that Kit, Hal and Finn will grow to be bitter, angry, hypocritical bigots like the sQeptics did. I doubt they're being raised to think it's OK to bully, lie and slander for fun.
