There was device that going brack the both is lf they dream chasers did not turn it off it was also very unstable. Logan sacrifice himself for his friends and for lime 2 months after... they thought he was dead. He was not..he lost his memories

So this peace whode have been during this months they thought Logan was gone.

Also Mateo has power to make illusions...so yah like Logan is just and illusion.
