A bit of an explanation behind this for those interested.

This is just a plot bunny that came to me when I was thinking of an ending for my Ot3 fic. I'm still not sure how I feel about it entirely because it would be tough to write, but the prompt was easy enough to draw to bring my vision across.

So you know how Xerx made that promise to the Intention that he would destroy her? Well... what if he was capable of fulfilling that promise?

The idea is that once the ot3 gets together and establishes their love for each other, they still have to deal with Break's body giving out. And the only way to stop that would be to destroy the Intention, and if there is no Intention, there is no Mad Hatter. And since they're all down there anyway and the Abyss returns to its former glory, why not have them all stay down there and live happily ever after together?

I figured, since I have this burning headcanon that Gil, Vince and Break really don't belong to the current time-line, they wouldn't care about leaving it behind, especially if as long as they have each other, they can be happy. And if the former golden Abyss is as amazing as it was claimed to be, I like to imagine that they could just be happy there.

So anyways, to get there, they'd probably need to go through Sablier much like it happened canonically at the end, and once in the Abyss and facing off against the Intention, the dust from city could start getting mixed up in everything , and hence... In the City of Dust! ✨️

An Absurd Fairy Tale Chapter 8: "The Lovers"

This is the end of PHmonth24 for me! Thank you to everyone who took the time to read my fic.

I had a lot of fun. While I've written quite a lot on my own, I haven't really had writing deadlines since I was a student. It was neat to test my limits by giving myself strict timeframes.

Without further ado, here is Chapter 8 "The Lovers" for Fan's choice day 4: "What's the Catch?". Despite the title, it does not become a ship fic here. Sorry to disappoint. I really like @ursanic's choice of assigning The Lovers to Noise and Echo. I don't typically think of the card in a romantic sense, and "often an aspect of the querent's life will have to be sacrificed." Interestingly though, this chapter does have 3 pretty straightforward pairs...

I also manifested Jack's repeated objectification of Oz in the canon as him misgendering every Chain he encounters. It seems in character.

An Absurd Fairy Tale Chapter 6, "The Moon"

Today is the day the cast starts expanding! Zwei is teased in this chapter, but won't appear formally until the next chapter which I'll post on Sunday, Nov. 10th. The next chapter is for Tragedy Trio Day 7 theme "Weaving Fate", but I'll be posting it a day late. Zwei won't be the only character joining... I'll give one hint! They only appeared in one chapter of Pandora Hearts and only feature in 5 fics on Ao3. They intrigue me nonetheless.

As for this chapter... How does a man keep living after refusing "the call of the void?"

Also, Vincent's existence is torturous for everyone around him in every timeline. Especially those who love him! I don't make the rules!

An Absurd Fairy Tale Chapter 7, "The Emperor"

I promised more Zwei, but switched around my chapters. She'll be here next week for the final update for now, Chapter 8 on Wednesday the 13th, "What's the catch?" Good news- Lottie makes a brief appearance instead! It just felt right to have her.

As for this week, I wanted to get Oswald onto the path that it took him until the very end of the canon to achieve- the path to grow a fuckin spine. Joking about Oswald being spineless and Gilbert being pathetic never gets old.

This chapter is for yesterday's theme, Nov 9th, "Weaving fate". "The Emperor" in the PH tarot is all of the minor Baskerville cast, but I like it for Lottie. It fit the vibe of the chapter, too.

Current mood- sad that baby Vincent probably won't appear in the next chapter. If I don't wait until next PH month to keep writing, it'll be because creating a better ending for Vincent is rotting my brain out of my skull.

Very late submissions for @phmonth.

I wanted to do more days, and actually draw Sharon and Reim, but I got ill again, therefore I’ve only done a few days.

Day 1: I wasn’t sure what to do here. I chose to draw the scene from Cheshire’s domain with the mirrors. It felt somewhat fitting.

Day 2: This one is simple. I drew him with sweets.

Day 3: I have drawn this scene before, but I thought it fit for sorrow.

Day 4: I’ve wanted to draw this scene for a while. This prompt gave me an opportunity to. I’m not super happy with how his face turned out here..
