My muses here have been real low so for now I think I am putting this blog on a semi permeant hiatus. I may go through and fix/lower muses but for now I think I’m done here specifically. I am willing to still roleplay these muses on discord but since I’m not here often enough I think it’s better to be honest.
My discord can be found here LunaSakamoto#5919 and is welcome to mutuals. Please tell me who you are.

the-mind-of-xelyn:
Simon nodded in agreement with North, then looked around for inspiration. “I wonder… Is Carl here?” he asked, suddenly seeking out the man that Markus considered his father. “If we could get him in on it, maybe we could say he isn’t feeling well and Markus needs to take him home. He is Carl’s caregiver after all.” It could get them out of the event early too if they played their cards right. Simon started scanning the crowd for the familiar face and wheelchair.
Having been allowed to see Markus’s memories of Carl she knew he was someone they could all trust. Her own eyes started scanning around the crowd to see if he was here. “No one would question it.” North checked in on how Markus looked as she looked around the room. She hoped the man was here otherwise they’d have to come up with a different plan.

Simon nodded his head, figuring that would be the case. “I can’t blame you, I’d feel the same way,” he admitted, pouring her a cup of coffee once it was finished. He offered the ceramic mug of the warm drink to her before taking a seat.
“I’ve always been hesitant to get any updates or repairs because of that same reasoning,” he admitted with a friendly smile, glad to see the distraction helping her to calm down. “It does kind of seem invasive to mess with the code in someone’s brain.”
She took the cup, letting the heat of it sink into her fingers. “I might be able to help with some repairs if you’d ever want.” She offered before taking a careful sip of the hot drink.
“I try to do what work I can though since I’m not always in the best shape to work.” She admitted looking at him. “You’re very kind and I thank you for helping me out.”

detective-with-one-arm:
“Yeah?” Rachel asked, enjoying seeing this side of Veronica. This more…sentimental side. She was generally nice and was radiant like the sun, but it was these more tender personable moments that properly spoke to the detective. These moments where she actually connected to her coworker.
And…was she her girlfriend now? Perhaps it was too soon to adopt that label. No. She’d let Veronica set that pace. After all, it was her pace Rachel was following and she didn’t mind that one bit.
As long as she was comfortable and happy, that’s all that mattered.
“That’s adorable.” She commented, imagining Veronica wearing a little witch’s outfit. She more or less knew what Kiki’s Delivery Service was and had a mental image.
Soon as Veronica leaned in and laid against her, Rachel started blushing a bright red. She was usually the leaner, not the other way around. It was…nice, for a change. And it was very comfortable.
“Of course.” Smiling, Rachel slipped her arm around the other and gently held Veronica close. “Is…this okay?”
Her own cheeks warmed at being called adorable. She was pretty certain she had pictures of her in said costume somewhere in all of her things. Eventually it would be nice to show Rachel those pictures. There was a soft smile on her lips at feeling the other move to hold her close.
“Yes.” There was something comforting about being this close to Rachel. Once they were settled in Veronica set the movie to play. These movies always seemed to be a warm comfort for her and it was nice to share that with Rachel.
[ chocolate strawberries ] to gift my muse chocolate covered strawberries. - from Veronica to Rachel
Staring at the gift, she couldn’t believe her eyes. She never thought or expected anyone to get her anything for Valentine’s Day. Much less Veronica. But then again, this was probably just her being nice, again. Rachel wouldn’t put it past the sunny woman to do something nice for Valentine’s Day.
Even though the chocolate covered strawberries were a bit on the nose. But nevertheless, she loved the gift and didn’t want to assume anything of Veronica. “You didn’t have to do this, but thank you! I love chocolate covered strawberries.” Rachel replied gleefully, tentatively closing the box once she’d seen what was inside. “If you’re getting something like this for me, I can only imagine what your date must be getting from you.”
After all, if Veronica was giving a gift like this to Rachel, then she must have a date for the holiday she was giving a gift to.

howtodisassembleyourdeviant:
Connor’s social integration programming wasn’t perfect. Human nuances change every day and things that mean one thing take on an entirely different definition amongst separate groups or even as a whole if it’s popular enough. As amazing as that is, the RK800 often has to be on his toes with what he says, knowing humans love to misinterpret information for their own means.
“Who do you usually hang out with?” Connor asks.
Nathan paused with the question. It would be awkward for both him and Connor to admit that in actuality he didn’t really hang out with. “Occasionally Reed, and there is Veronica but not really anyone else.” He offered

detective-with-one-arm:
It was one thing to be told that you were pleasant company. Overall, Rachel knew she was fun to be around at the best of times. She was fun, funny, and had a good nature and sense of humour. That was one of the things she liked most about herself. Her naturally good nature and sense of humour.
But it was another entirely to be expressed a clear interest in repeated meetings and time spent together. That was something else. To be wanted. Requested. Invited to be a presence in someone’s life, even if in a small way for a small while.
Rachel…missed this feeling. And she missed it very much.
Smiling, the detective glanced over at Veronica with a bashful shrug. “Yeah.” She agreed, leaning against the counter and waiting for the timer to sound off. “We should. I like baking with you. And just…hanging out with you in general.”
“It would have to be your place for baking, my kitchen is way to small to have even one person in it honestly.” She spoke with a soft smile. “Though it is pretty cozy so movies and video games would be an easy thing to do there.” She offered hoping that it wasn’t coming across too clingy.
Veronica was a sunny person, and that of course came with people either liking her or not enjoying her just for that. She often attracted acquaintances, but having close relationships to other didn’t happen often and Rachel was someone she wanted to be close to.
“I’d really like having someone to be able to do these sort of things with.”
“I’ve got the gingerbread!” - From Veronica to Rachel
Of all the people she wanted to bake gingerbread cookies with, Veronica was honestly he perfect choice. Rachel’s anxiety with cooking couldn’t stop her from it forever. And of anyone she thought she would want to try to cook with, the woman’s sunny attitude seemed perfect to have in the kitchen to alleviate and circumvent any anxiety that could crop up for Rachel.
She figured it was best to invite Veronica over to her home, considering the size of her kitchen. “Come on in!” Rachel called as she rushed to greet Veronica, keeping her fingers in Bear’s collar to stop the large black dog from overwhelming the forensics expert. “Don’t mind him, he’s just a big baby. He’s a very sweeet boy.”

detective-with-one-arm:
“For as long as I’ve been alive.” Rachel replied, giving her answer very clearly for the human. “Two hundred years, I think. The older you get, the more the years go by. Especially when you live for centuries without any outside intervention.”
Twirling the phone chord in her hand, the vampire smirked. “I was born and raised one. My family are descendants of the most famous vampire in history. Can you guess who?”
“Well the cliché would say Dracula but I also don’t want to chance offending you.” She spoke as she still had a feeling it was correct. It was interesting to hear that she was always a vampire.
“How often do you need to feed?” She remembered that feeling hadn’t been entirely unpleasant. Kimi knew that she wouldn’t always be able to give as he health fluctuated a bit but she wouldn’t be opposed to doing it again in the future.
