Got high then sat eating some rice and beans. Now I'm stuck in a deep-think about how as a working class, very broke Latina, my food perfectly encapsulates what my necessities have been as a human in society. Just bc historically speaking, the lower class needed more nutrients to get through their day. I still eat like I have to do heavy manual labor. My diets super protein and carb/starch heavy which matches the usual needs of the lower class and peasantry. Idek if this makes sense anymore.

Tldr; point was i got high and can't stop thinking on nutrition and how food serves a purpose and the socioeconomic state of the world

Nicky said the twins chose to study German because Nicky could help them pass, and I don’t doubt that was part of it, but I wonder if they chose it as a sort of apology, too. We’re sorry you left Germany to take care of us; we’ll learn German so you have something of it to bring home with you. And their fluency is interesting, too. Two years of foreign language in high school won’t get you that far, and none of them are studying it in college, so I wonder if they used German at home a lot, to make Nicky miss it less? To make him feel more at home with them?

I, honestly, need Jason picking up Bruce's arguments during fights and using them back on him. In the most unexpected moments. Just imagine Bruce getting mad during another of their patrols, and in the middle of the screaming session, Jason just switches and doubles him with his own phrases.

Which is a funny thing to say as someone who has also killed people and has not told a certain group of people in that room about said killing of people

“Look I just think that if anyone in this room has ever killed people, we should all be cool about it and trust that they had a good reason. Were there to be, hypothetically, more people in this room who may or may not have committed murder, legally speaking.”
