Im more of an all at once fervently vomiting words poet but I’m working on revising since it is necessary if I want to take writing at all seriously which of course I do🙄 how annoying of me! Sonnets are also meant to be read aloud so you know it’s not quite the same reading it but that’s ok

I was a rumor around the village

A witch they long ago failed to pillage

not by any impressive feat of mine

Provincial exile of what is feared

The Embodied Christ stripped of loving grace

The New World punishes those who are weird

No longer bear unjust blows to our face

All I wanted was for us to be safe

After I found here I just had to share
