Little day activities 💛
🌙 Bath Time™ with bubbles, bath toys, hair washing, and bath bombs (if they are able to have them)
🌙 Movie Time™. Watch their favorite movie with snacks, ice cream, and a rootbeer float!
🌙 Play games with them, whether it be a video game or board game.
🌙 Day Out™. Take them out for a day to shop, eat, or go to their favorite places. Also, picking out their outfit beforehand and letting them bring a little item of their choice is bonus points.
🌙 Cooking together can be super fun! Especially if it is kid friendly and results in yummy snack time afterwards.
🌙 Lesson Time™. Spend time teaching your little or picking up a hobby with them. This is good for bonding and making them feel super little!
🌙 Bed Time™. Pick out their favorite story, or let them stay up just a bit later. They’ll love every moment with you either way 💛

how to make your little go into little space 🦆
🍼 colour with them and/or compliment their colouring.
🍼 take them out on little themed dates.
🍼 watch cartoons with them.
🍼 hold their hand when crossing the road.
🍼 pick out clothes and dress them.
🍼 get their pacifier for them. (if they have one).
🍼 let them suck on your thumb.
🍼 tell them bedtime stories at night.
🍼 run them a bath and play with them in the water.
🍼 spend a day with them to do a sort of princess/prince day.
🍼 tell them to look both ways when crossing the road.
🍼 have a tea party with their stuffies and them.
🍼 treat their stuffies like they’re real (e.g. “does {stuffies name} want some food too?” “is {stuffies name} tired too?”
🍼 watch disney movies with them.
🍼 let them sit on your lap.
🍼 treat them as if they were little.
🍼 call them pet/nicknames.
🍼 cut up their food for them and fill their sippy cup for them. (if they have one).
🍼 tell them they’re too little to do something that they would usually do when they’re big.
🍼 tie their shoes for them when going out.
🍼 buy them a new stuffie/toy/paci/sippy/any little thing they like when you’re out shopping.
🍼 don’t act like they’re annoying you.
🍼 tell them that you’re proud of them/give them small rewards for things like cleaning up without being asked to.
🍼 refer to yourself as the name they call you. (e.g. “daddy/mommy/caregiver loves you very much” “you’re going to do that for daddy/mommy/caregiver?”) (this helps a lot for me!).
🍼 pick them up whenever you can.
falling into a little space is different for everyone. not all of these things will work for every little, and there are way more that’ll work for different people. these are just some of the ones that make me feel little.

A note to caregivers
If you’re struggling feeling like you’re not being “creative enough” or “original” when it comes to rules, punishments, rewards, or cute nicknames for your little, the simplest makes us happy and feel small. You can simply call us little one and give us a sticker or a sweet for a reward, it doesn’t need to be elaborate, or something that’s never been done before it’s special because you’re our caregiver and taking care of us. That’s it. Don’t put pressure on yourself, cuz we won’t. 💕❤️

🍦What Type of Little are you?🍦
☉Sunny Day Littles☉: Full of big smiles and giggles. Scraped knees and overalls with flower crowns. Tiny backpacks filled with their favorite little snacks. Running away and surprised sounds when they find something new. Icecream dripping down their arms and juicy fruits. Hand holding.
☁Cloudy Day Littles☁: Cuddly babies. Wrapped in blankets and full of love. Easily bored. Initiates random dance parties just for fun. Movie marathons. Probably curses on accident, gets scolded, and then says the word louder simply to spite their CG. Has a million stuffies and expects you to know them by name. Pouty faces and whining. Cat ears and snacky foods. Eskimo kisses.
⛈Thunder Storm Littles⛈: Easily frustrated and angered. Cries because they are fruatrated. Really just need a a hug. Probably bratty. Independent but doesn’t mind the company. Their CG’s lap is their throne. Race cars and monster trucks are their preferred toy. Probably a messy eater. Wants to do things on their own, but like it when their CG encourages them and rewards them. Forehead kisses.
🌧Rainy Day Littles🌧: Easily nervous. Needs to be encouraged to try new things out. Pillow forts and soft things. Sweets and desserts. Probably chews things that shouldn’t be chewed on. Playdoh and paint that ends up on the floor. Wants their CG to sing and read to them. Building blocks and legos. Soft scents and candles.
🌌Starry Night Littles🌌: Doesn’t believe in bedtime. Fairy lights and glow in the dark stars. Midnight adventures. Makes their tongue go blep. Video games and music playing. Bath time is fun time. Fuzzy pajamas and binkies. Makes their CG carry them around even though they swear they aren’t tired.

What to do when your little is frightened, worried, anxious or having a panic attack
🚀 Offer support, but don’t be offended if they don’t take it🚀
🍬 Remind them that you’re there if they need you🍬
🍭 Speak softly and move slowly, sudden sounds and movements can make things worse🍭
💞 Be open to whatever they need (hugs, cuddles, rubs, etc.)💞
🐼 Obtain comfort items (stuffies, pacis, etc.)🐼
☁️ Listen to what they may or may not be saying☁️
🦁 Even if you’re worried about them, stay strong so they know they have someone to lean on🦁
💫 Try not to ask them what’s happening, while it may seem unfair, it really helps if you know (read bottom for further explanation)💫
💜 Don’t make them explain themselves to you💜
🌈 Don’t tell them to stop overreacting🌈
✨ Don’t get angry✨
🍯 Be a shoulder to cry on/cuddle with🍯
MOST IMPORTANTLY
!!!DO NOT FORCE THEM TO DO ANYTHING!!!
Every little is different, so while these tips work for some, they don’t work for all. These are what I find most helpful. Don’t forget to ask your little afterwards (once they are stable and comfortable) what happened, how you can avoid it and what specifically they need from you. As a CG it really helps us if you know what to do to help without us telling you in the moment. It shows us that you are there for us and that you’re strong and in control for when we loose a bit of control. The most important thing is that you discuss with your little outside of theses moments, to make sure you know what to do if they have these episodes.
