I was listening to “Fight like a girl” by Emilie Autumn and then this picture happened, because the song made me want to draw a girl fighting.
And we all know Zoey kicks all the asses!

Pretty sure I just alienated like, 75% of the Left 4 Dead fandom with this one.
I like gross filthy survivors, it just seems much more realistic.

It's Bill.
Zoey's ears barely registered the words coming from Louis' mouth. She knew that Louis wouldn't take the joke that far. He could never hurt her so much. She took several breaths in an attempt to calm her frantically beating heart. The stress was almost too much for the survivor, but Zoey knew that she could get through this, she always did.
"Bill." She stated, slowly nodding her head. She supposed it was the only way Louis would be speaking to her like he was. She brought a hand to her eye, trying to wipe away the tears. "But...how."
The Dead and The Gone
“Dammit Louis!” Zoey snapped. She had enough of the fighting and exhaustion and Louis was out of line by reminding her of Bill. She couldn’t take it anymore, her patience gone. She started to pace then, around the couch, kicking away empty bottles of pills.
“I’ve told you so many times after that day that I never, ever wanted to go back to that place. You know what it did to me.” She threw her hands up, throwing her health pack on the couch as her body started to shake.
“Please Louis.” The brunette muttered under her breath, feeling her knees threaten to give. “Please don’t.”

The Dead and The Gone
Anonymous asked: “M!A: Bill’s spirit possesses you for three hours.”
“Hold up! What hell are you-” Before Louis could finish his sentence, the spell had taken over. Louis choked on his words and released a harsh cough. His body had grown cold and his shoulders trembled as he dropped to one knee. Almost instantly, the man’s body ceased its shivers.
“Jesus H. Christ…” Bill muttered, rising to his feet. Only they were not his feet. “What in the hell is going on here?!” The man spat as he gazed down at the body that clearly did not belong to him. “I don’t believe this horse shit…” The old veteran could not explain what happened, but he was back on Earth. Not in his body nor with his own voice, of course, but he was back… The familiar smell of death entered his nostrils.
“Son, hope you don’t mind me taking over for a bit…” He spoke to Louis, though he was unsure if the younger male could hear him or not. “Been awhile since I haven’t had the urge to smoke…”
“Louis!” Zoey called from the room of the safe house, adjusting the strap of her pack and grabbing a couple molotovs. She walked to the room, mind filled with a thousand things. The survivor felt a sudden emptiness hit her, deep in the pit of her stomach. She tried to shake the feeling, but it kept its claws deep within her soul.
Zoey closed her eyes, resting her hand on the top of her head. She felt a strangeness in the room and found herself looking at the back of Louis. “Hey Louis. You ready?”

Note
how does it feel to know your dad would have been fine after that bite?
Zoey felt the words sink in, cutting deep into her. She tried to block out the memories, tried for so long to do anything to keep her mind from going back to that place. Zoey remember the day perfectly.
The kick-back of the gun and the blood. So much blood. Zoey shook her head, trying to shake the pain that pushed through the walls she tried so hard to build.
I can't go back, can't go back.
