No update this week!! Sorry guys, we have 2 new employees and my dog had a seizure this week (she’s fine, they didn’t find a cause so they’re guessing it’s a one off) so I’m exhausted and haven’t even touched my tablet this week. I’ll see you guys next Sunday!

Wuh oh, this isn't looking good!

Trying out a few things, ignore any shading or coloring changes as the comic continues, I'm trying to find out how much effort is too much effort.

Now that everyone has been introduced: Bearstar, Hailheart, Icequill, and Lynxbite are from Peakclan and Tigershadow and Flamefeather are representing Shoreclan. No one from Meadowclan is here to fight...hmmmmmm, I wonder why....

First Page of the reboot! We're going back in time to watch the last stand of the clans, featuring the familiar faces of Icequill and Hailstar, though she hasn't gained her leadership yet! Bearstar is Peakclan's leader at the moment, don't get too attached.

I'll be reordering some stuff on the blog, so don't get scared if things get posted randomly, I'm trying to figure stuff out. I'll see you guys next Sunday for page 2!

Updates!

Hi all!!!

Sorry for the absence. I just got done with 10 weeks of counseling a summer camp and it was...sure something this year. Anyways, I'm back to a normal (less physically exhausting) schedule now so I want to refocus on this!

I adore Plagueclan and they are my silly little kitties I think about when I have nothing to do. I also recently gifted myself a new tablet, this time a screen display one! That being said, I've been drawing a lot, and I KNOW I just changed the style of the comic and all butttttt I found a much more comfortable way to draw it, and I think the style will change once more. My bad.

Story wise, we are going to change to a more comic-like format! Similar to the intro comic! Instead of a diary-esque story direction I'm going for full scenes with talking and the like. I'm hoping this will make the story more eventful and dramatic, as it should be. So, starting from the top, I've already got a prologue chapter in the works and scripted out so we will be restarting. The story won't change overall, but we may hit some different beats on the way to set up for future events.

Finally, schedule! I will go back to once a week on Sundays starting next week. This will be page one of chapter one, so it will not be the next moon based on what we have! Just so we're all on the same page :)

Finally, finally I also have a headworld that I'm working on about a Skyclan AU called Return of the Clans, a story where the journeying cats from the New Prophecy never return and the forest clans disband, and many seasons later Skyclan must be the ones to bring them back. The old switcharoo. This is not a comic or even fanfiction yet but more a collection of ideas and clips. However, I do have the allegiances written out and some character designs so I'm thinking I'll make a blog for it as it develops. I'll promote that blog in the case it is made, but for now here's some pretty kitties from Skyclan for you to look at until next Sunday. Thank you all for your continued support and I apologize it took me so long to return.

uhhhh peak at the new ref sheets everyone is getting so I can have a good reference for different angles with their weirdo head shapes (icequill will be the end of me if i don't have a good ref for her face shape). Also just really good to have clear reference sheets with color swatches and such.

New style! Also adult form of Cricketpaw since they get their warrior name next update. Don't look too hard at Cricketpaw and Hailstar, I used the wrong size brush for lineart so they look different than the others. Anyways, this will be the new style we're working with going forwards!

Hey guys!!

Just some updates!

As I’ve been working on creating pages, I’ve realized I’m not totally into the art style I’ve gone with. I’ve worked on some new references and I’ll be posting those this week to show off the new style I’ve created for this comic. I also put some finishing touches on how the infection works and will be making a guide to that as well! Id like this comic to take a more planned out story approach so I may have to go back and tweak some stuff previously done in updates but since we’re so early in the run it shouldn’t be too much.

Sorry for the absence. As summer closes in I will be really busy with summer camp. It runs for 10 weeks. Due to that, I’m going to go on a hiatus for two or three weeks to create a backlog of pages, that way I can upload them without worry over the course of summer.

Two new guys in a row? Hot dang, this is getting crowded! A little peak at Shoreclan territory, which is such an aesthetic. Would you guys be interested in lore about the former clans? I kinda wanted to write some backstory for each of the founders and maybe the beginning of the plague (starting with Shoreclan and ending at Peakclan). Anyways, enjoy old lady Brindletail. Once a kittypet, Brindletail became a loner once her owners mysteriously disappeared, replaced by crazed twolegs looking to harm her. She was already old, so she struggled to survive by herself on the plains. She holed up in an abandoned twoleg den, comforted by the familiar smells, and planned to stay there as long as possible. One day while singing to keep herself busy she was visited by Goldenrose, Icequill, and Tigershadow. The patrol kindly invited her back to their home for a meal, and Brindletail was overjoyed at the prospect of being surrounded by others and joined them.
