Today I reflect upon the gifts offered to us by Jörð, who is guardian of the forests and fertile land, Freyr, who allows us to feast on the fruits of the earth by fertilizing the crops with his seed, and Skaði, who puts the land to sleep. They three are prominent symbols of the cycle of seasons, and I am grateful for their work which I praise through blót.
