A HOT SPOT IN TOWN.

The hotel MJ’s in Malmö is this year ranked as Sweden’s Leading Boutique Hotel, by World Travel Awards. I sometimes go there for lunch. Very good! There’s also night life in the Lobby Bar.

I’m this day sporting my warm M-51 fishtail parka with a liner. The brand is The Real McCoy’s. Also a black worker’s jacket by Bleu de Chauffe. Travel bag from the same brand. Hard to find more faded pieces than this. Orslow painter jacket from Cultizm and Lee Archive jeans from Son of a Stag. Like both garments a lot. On Sunday November 10 it’s Father’s Day. At least in Sweden. Some perhaps wanna give a pyjamas to dad? Also called loungewear. My own paisley printed set comes from @grandpastore, including slippers. HEPCAT CELEBRATING TOGETHER WITH FILSON.

The genuine @hepcatstore in Lund, Sweden, is celebrating 25 years. And what could be a better way to do it than showing a Vintage Archive Exhibition by American heritage brand @filson1897. A lot of people in the store. As Ludwig @lullijoakim, an aficionado when in comes to Filson Vintage. Showing me work pants from the 1940’s.

Representing Filson are Donato @_donato_san from Italy and Paul @paulinstagram from the Netherlands. Donato tells me Filson will open a store in Milan. Talking about workwear are HepCat Store owner Robert @heprob and long time customer Jokke @give_em_hell_productions

A fan of Filson is Elin, trying on different jackets by the brand.

HepCat do sell a lot of Red Wing boots @redwingheritage and Vesna @mrs.gillsin falls in love with moc toes in a slightly green colour.

Working in the store is as usual Erek @e.s.bell. He shows me a badass tote bag HepCat has made in collaboration with Filson for the store’s anniversary. Working in the store this day is also Robert’s son

BLACK AND ORANGE.

A good colour combination if you ask me. The black leather coat is 20-25 years something. From Olséns in my hometown. Orange beanie and cardigan by Danish Andersen Andersen. AUTUMN CAN BE PRETTY NICE.

Autumn is my favourite season. Especially since it’s still decent weather. Better wear my leather jacket by Fine Creek Leathers before it’s too cold. Once in a while I like to wear a shirt, necktie and blazer. Both the blazer (perhaps it should be called jacket?) and the necktie are from Italian brand 1stpatrn. Shirt by Gitman Vintage. Favourite faded jeans by Swedish Nudie Jeans. The boots by British Crocket & Jones are several years old. Could do with a size bigger. The M-65 is as always by The Real McCoy’s. A DAY TRIP TO THE CITY OF LUND.

The other day my mate Roland and I went to Lund to visit our friends at HepCat Store. But first we had a photo shoot outside Lund’s Cathedral. Roland behind the camera. At HepCat he bought two issues of the fine magazine The Heritage Post.

I’m sporting my M-51 parka by The Real McCoy’s. Love this piece! Got a generous size. Fatigue pants in denim by Fleurs de Bagne. And my old Red Wing’s on the feet. With train it’s easy to go from Malmo to Lund and back. A nice day trip.
