I see many things I could do differently but it's okay, I'm learning. I'm actually quite proud of myself for finishing the full page, which rarely happens.

Because (for various reasons) I don't draw every day or nearly as often as I would want, I keep thinking I don't progress at all. However, while it might be slow, the progress is still there. That's when putting dates under sketches comes in handy, at least for me. I love going back to my old stuff and seeing what changed.

By the way, all those pages are from the same sketchbook. That really shows how little I actually draw... (I keep small ones too, but still x-x)

Inktober 2024: 24. Expedition

Another one done in a sketchbook! No pencil sketch and no references for this one. I was feeling sick and had a headache and the day before was very stressful for me. This is also the last drawing I did for 2024 Inktober. Overall I think I improved a lot but also learned that I have to do more planning beforehand and probably limit myself to much smaller or simplified illustrations for this kind of monthly challenge. I experimented with a lot of different tools and topics, sometimes it was fun, other times a bit exhausting. Nevertheless it was the most prompts I did for an Inktober so far and I'm quite happy I challenged myself with drawing human character (although it was tough at times).
