Inktober 2024: 24. Expedition

Another one done in a sketchbook! No pencil sketch and no references for this one. I was feeling sick and had a headache and the day before was very stressful for me. This is also the last drawing I did for 2024 Inktober. Overall I think I improved a lot but also learned that I have to do more planning beforehand and probably limit myself to much smaller or simplified illustrations for this kind of monthly challenge. I experimented with a lot of different tools and topics, sometimes it was fun, other times a bit exhausting. Nevertheless it was the most prompts I did for an Inktober so far and I'm quite happy I challenged myself with drawing human character (although it was tough at times).

Inktober 2024: 13. Horizon

For this prompt I had zero, absolutely no ideas... No thoughts, head empty. I spent half of the day looking through photos, trying to find some inspiration, but nothing felt right. After many tries I've managed to finally draw.... something? And looking at it now I actually like it a lot, even though I wasn't very happy with it before.

Always loved the concept of flying fish, but I think it's the first time they appeared in my drawing. Haven't been drawing fish very often generally.

(Yes I was painting this while watching The Addams Family. Had a very enjoyable evening tbh.)
