Skipping class? That's more than normal behaviour for the losers club, more specifically Richie and Eddie, due to Eddie's mother they barely get to hang out outside of school they do it with classes they don't share, they just enjoy each other's company in words they can't describe.

Eddie laughed reaching the far tree at the end of the school with Eddie, it was nice and windy making the leaves make little noises brushing along, Richie was the first to sit down, Eddie refused to sit on the dirty ground so his best friend put down his jumper and patted the spot next to him. 'So, you're telling me, that you can sit around touching yourself but I have to study every waking minute at home and not even pass the test!' Richie laughed looking at his A+ graded practice test the boys had just taken. 'I'm just smart.' Eddie groans. 'But how! I don't believe it you cheated!'

Richie shook his head. 'You can strip search me sir, I did not cheat.' Eddie laughed a bit at the boy's remark, Richie reached down into his boxers grabbing out his pack of cigarettes he hid down there during school hours. He pulled one out placing it in between his lips wriggling it around. 'Pst Eds, this is your cue.' Eddie rolls his eyes searching his fanny pack for his lighter. 'Don't call me that, now seriously are you going to help me or not?'

Richie shrugs. 'I'm not sure yet princess.' Eddie rolled his eyes going red at the pet name he claimed to hate more than "eds", "Eddie spaghetti" and "spaghetti head", it was right there at the top of the list. Eddie groaned pulling on Richie's arm. 'Come on! Mama said that if I get an A on the proper test I can come to your birthday party this Saturday!' Richie sat up. 'Oh? You drive a hard bargain doll.' Eddie sighs. 'Is that a yes?' Richie says flicking around his cigarette. 'Lighter.' Eddie quickly pulls it out of his back pocket to have Richie grab it, he lit it up and then hummed. 'I'll think about it.'

Eddie kicks Richie's thigh lightly. 'Come on! What do I have to do?' Richie leans forward. 'Well.-' 'What up homos!' They turned there head to see the redhead standing there in black high wasted jeans with a pink crop top on that said "don't do coke in the bathroom", or as everyone called her, Beverly. Richie lifted his cigarette. 'Want some?' She nodded accepting it smiling. 'Thanks, so. What are you two doing?' Eddie answers. 'Trying to get smart ass over here to help me!'

Beverly asked. 'Why? What did he get?' Richie grinned ear to ear. 'A+ baby!' Beverly choked on the smoke handing it back. 'What?! How?! I got a B minus!' Richie smiles. 'See, I'm smart.' Eddie sighed. 'Seriously! Please! You know I want to come!' Beverly nodded. 'Help him!' Eddie nodded quickly. 'Come on please!' Richie groans. 'Fine! I'll sneak in around 3:30 to 4, have your shit ready!' Eddie quickly hugs Richie from the side beaming. 'Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!' He ended it with a quick peck on the cheek, he pulled back as Richie nodded. 'Your welcome princess, now seriously, what did you get on your test?' Eddie groaned hiding his head in his hands. 'D!' Richie smirked. 'Not the only D you'll be getting today.-' 'Richie, no.' 'Come on princess!' 'Don't call me that!' 'You weren't complaining last night when I.-' 'BEEP BEEP RICHIE!'

Stan Uris grew up in a pretty average home, he had a great group of friends, fun hobby (bird watch) and had decent grades. Except like one of his friends he had constant bullying, the Jewish boy couldn’t catch a break from Henry. His boyfriend tried to support him but then his religious Jewish father found out.

Beverly was the only girl in a group full of boys, which left people either believing she was a lesbian, trans boy or a complete slut. Which she wasn’t, she was just a girl who had fun with guys...a group full of gay guys. She reached the age of 14 and started dressing differently, she had always smoked ever since she was 11 or 12, not even she could remember. But then the young girl dyed her hair to a redder then orange tone. She started dressing up and caring about her looks which made everything but the slut rumours drop. Until she got her first boyfriend. 

[A/N: So it’s more of a losers club AU then just Reddie.]

Richie pressed his foot down into the ground looking over at Eddie. 'Want one?' Eddie shakes his head quickly flicking around the metal ignition on his pink lighter with "Loser" painted on it in white but then it has a "v" in red on top of the s, the losers had done this due to Eddies cast back when they were all about 12 or 13, at this point that symbol was iconic and whenever they had done something creditworthy they'd sign it with that.

'Why would I want to huff on a cancer stick?' Eddie scoffed pulling Richie's face closer to his lighting the cigarette that was lightly pressed between his lips. Richie shrugged pulling back. 'You have a lighter, anyone would take you as a carebear chain smoker.' Eddie laughed a little placing a hand over his mouth grinning. 'Shut up you wanna be eboy.'

Richie wiggles his eyebrows. 'Oooo, the princess has sas.' Eddie went completely red in the face feeling the heat radiating, he kicked Richie's feet in response. 'Don't call me princess!' Richie rolls his eyes. 'You love it Eds, it adds a step in your feet whenever I call you that.' Eddie shakes his head as Richie blows out some smoke in his face, Eddie coughs waving his hands around, he grabs out his inhaler with his free hand quickly placing it in between his lips pulling the trigger for proper air.

Eddie snarls. 'Don't do that dick!' Richie says leaning against the wall more. 'Fine, I won't do it again.' Eddie sighs grabbing his forehead. 'You promise?' Richie wiggles his pinky holding it out. 'I pinky promise princess.' Eddie rolls his eyes wrapping his pinky around Richie's grinning a little.

Richie Tozier has been bullied for being “gay” for as long as he could remember but turns out all the rumours were true. Richie Tozier was, in fact, a homosexual, his parents didn’t mind since it’s not like he hung out with the wrong people but the bullying intensified, being shoved, spat on, and punched just for it. The adults in Derry weren’t as bad as the kids when it came to homophobia, it’s not like a 40-year-old would come over and punch him in the face like when he was at school. So he toughened up, started going to parties and got Beverly to teach him a couple smoking tricks, just do that he seemed a little tougher, and his best friend since childhood loved it.

Eddie had always been under his mothers' control through the smallest things like backhanded compliments, pills, fear. The not so usual things a parent would do to keep their child dependent on them. Before Eddie was even 14 he realised he was gay, which only made Sonia worst. Her grip around her son became tighter and his only freedom was school, and sometimes the library. If he was lucky.
