Interesting turn of events at PCW Ultra show last night! Rob Van Dam made a surprising appearance towards the end of the show to challenge the current PCW Champion Penta El Zero M for the PCW Ultra Championship on March 16th at PCW Ultra "Tuff Luck" Now this will definitely be a match worth watching.

Vince McMahon and Giant Baba [January 1990]
A very cool picture of the WWF Chairman shaking hands with the hero of AJPW. In 1990, the WWF held a co-branded event with AJPW and NJPW where Giant Baba teamed with Andre The Giant to take on Demolition. The event was known as the Wrestling Summit, and featured Hulk Hogan taking on Stan Hansen in the main event.

Impact (TNA) seems to be taking a major blow at the start of the week...
Tumblr media
Impact Wrestling hasn’t been in the best shape within the last few years. Many of their top stars have jumped ship, and went to various companies in the business. In this case, it looks like four figures of the company could be leaving the promotion, and some of them even possibly coming to WWE...  1) Bruce Prichard (aka Brother Love)
Tumblr media
Best known for his work as Brother Love in WWF, Bruce Prichard would later leave the company to work for rivals TNA (Now Impact Wrestling) as their Vice President of Talent Relations and Programming. Reports (and a recent WWE.Com poll) are stating that Prichard will be reprising his role as Brother Love for the Raw 25th Anniversary Show, which is scheduled for 01/22/2018.  2) Chris Adonis (formerly known as Chris Masters)
Tumblr media
Formerly under the name of Chis Masters, Chris Adonis seems to have announced his departure from Impact Wrestling via his Twitter account. There is no further word on where exactly Adonis will end up.  3) Bobby Lashley
Tumblr media
Former Four Time TNA World Heavyweight Champion, and former ECW Champion Bobby Lashley is another name that is being added to this list of stars set to leave Impact Wrestling. After a recent taping, in which he put over new Impact signee, Bryan Cage, he had bowed to the crowd, signaling his departure. No word on if Lashley will in fact be back in WWE.  4) Ethan Carter the Third (EC III/ formerly known as Derick Bateman in NXT)
Tumblr media
Former two time TNA World Heavyweight Champion, EC III was written off Impact Wresting as part of their Feast or Fired gimmick. EC III took a final bow at the top of the stage at the end of the taping. Sources have stated that TNA had granted him an early release as his contract was set to end as of the summer of 2018. Others have been stating that his contract had been expired before the next set of tapings. It’s Highly rumored that EC III will be coming to the WWE in time for the Royal Rumble (No official word is out on whether or not this is the case however.)

Rob Conway Vs. CM Punk Ohio Valley Wrestling 400th Episode [April 4th, 2007]
Former OVW Heavyweight Champions clashed in the 400th episode of Ohio Valley Wrestling’s weekly television show. Rob Conway, who had been wrestling in OVW since January of 1998 took on the then-current ECW Superstar CM Punk. Punk, just under a year earlier, had been the OVW Heavyweight Champion, just as Conway had first won in April 1999. Punk would later go on to compete in the night’s battle royal, which he was victorious in.
Ohio Valley Wrestling tapes its weekly television program at the historic Davis Arena in Louisville, Kentucky every Wednesday night. For more information, visit www.ovwrestling.com.

Paige’s in-ring career is over...?
Tumblr media
Ahhhh the good old internet. Great for things both good, and well, all that can be bad. In this case, let’s call it tragic. Former NXT Women’s Champion, and WWE Diva’s Champion Paige had just recently came back from a neck injury in which she was out for many months at a time. After having returned to a loud pop on the Nov 20th episode of Monday Night Raw along side the debuting NXT stars, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose, it would now seem that the former champ’s career could now be over.  In a recent match at a live event (which can be seen below) she can be seen taking an unexpected kick from Sasha Banks.
youtube
The match was quickly stopped after the referee had signaled for medical attention. Reports are coming from multiple sources that state that Paige has been asked by WWE doctors, and other medical personnel to retire from in ring activity all together. The injuries are rumored to be similar to what caused former WWE Superstar Edge to retire. While most of these reports, have not been confirmed from either Paige herself, or the WWE, the fans are eager to know the unfortunate news. Like what you read? Good evening everyone!
I want to start off by saying that I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season, and that you guys have a wonderful new year.
Now down to business...
I realize that I have been absent for some time with this page. I have been between moving, work, school, and other things in life that has gotten me quite caught up in a lot. I'm still also a full time student, and I work a full time job during the week. Which leaves me with weekends off.
I plan to be more active during the year of 2018 however. I am planning on doing some expansion. Which will mean that I will be doing a YouTube Channel, and possibly launching a Twitch profile as well. One thing that I am doing this month for sure is that I will be doing a live stream of my reaction to the both Royal Rumble matches taking place during WWE's Royal Rumble pay per view on 01/28. (I will only be doing the actual rumble matches, not the whole ppv.)
I am also wanting to launch a podcast sometime during the year, but more details will come later on that at least.
Well everyone, here's to 2018!

"I'm not gonna lie. This year has been difficult for me. I think about the struggles, the hardships, the failures, and then I remember, I'm just a human. Each and everyone one of us have had hardships, and failures. But what separates us, from the normal human being is that us, guys that were brought in to do a job. Guys that weren't valued as anything. We never gave up. We were worth something. We were special, and so are each and every one of you." - Kenny Omega after winning the first ever IWGP United States Championship at the G1 Special in USA.

So, a lot of speculation had been running around about the situation between current GFW Champion Alberto El Patron, and his girlfriend WWE Superstar Paige. As of now, El Patron is being investigated for domestic violence against Paige. Multiple witness reports say that it had come to a head when a witness had reported seeing the two argue, and Paige in hysterics. Honestly, I’m disgusted. Having been a fan of El Patron for quite a while, I can’t say that I ever expected this out of him. None of the less, he is human, just like the rest of us, and deserves to have the same consequences.
No one deserves to go through anything that Paige had experienced. Domestic violence is a serious topic, and can cause lasting damage. I honestly hope that Jeff Jarret can reconsider his decision. I don’t see how it is justified to have a man be the face of your company. Especially with what he has done. Alberto El Patron deserves to be stripped of both titles.

3 Life Lessons that can be learned from Wrestling
Okay! Okay! So hear me out on this one guys!
There are things in life that we all go through, and that we all take in in life. Whether that be coping with certain things, maybe even rising above a standard that people have set for you. We all are influenced on how to deal with things in life from different places. Whether that be music, sports, books, or even teachers in school. In this case, wrestling is one of those things that has influenced me heavily.
Maybe you don’t understand, maybe you do. Sit back, and let me show you just what I am talking about.
Lesson #1: Make your career something that you love to do.
- When you think about a career? What comes to mind? Are you sitting behind a desk of your own company? Are you saving someones life using cutting edge medical technology?
Tumblr media
Maybe its different for every person, but the principle stays the same. When it comes to deciding what you want to do when you grow up, we all learn to love, and grow in it. Some competitors decide at a young age that it was their life’s mission  to be a professional wrestler. Take for example the legendary tag team, The Rock and Roll Express. When you take into account how old they are, and still keep on doing what they are doing in the ring, and how some people are in their respective jobs, and careers, sometimes you can see yourself even doing that exact thing when you are old when you’re just as old.
Tumblr media
Lesson #2: When you fall down, pick yourself back up, and keep going.
- As we all grow up in life, we fall down. Ask yourself. What did you do when you fell off that bike? What did you do when you didn’t get the result of that test you studied for the night before?
Many times through out life, we all experience things that set us back. We watch as our own parents, families, athletes go through the things that normally people would never be able to deal with.
Maybe what is holding you back is an injury, or even the recovery process.  When you look at the case of wrestlers like John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Chris Sabin, Seth Rollins, or even the likes of Finn Balor. Each and every one of those people had experienced it. They fell down. Just as you did when you fell off that bike. Sure, it sucked, and yes, it  hurt. That didn’t stop them, and it sure didn’t stop you from getting back up on that bike. Just because you lost that job, just because no one showed up the the show you played, doesn’t mean that you need to give up.
Tumblr media
Lesson #3: Hard work pays off.
- Is there something that you are aiming for in life? Or that something that you have already reached? How hard did you work for that certificate? That raise? Or even that trophy?
Sometimes, when it comes right down to it, you won’t be able to walk right in, and become the best. Some people take even years, and years to perfect their craft. Those musicians that you look up to? That NFL star that you see with all those Superbowl rings? They didn’t just wake up one day, and those achievements were there. They worked for it. They spent countless hours perfecting that craft, and earning their cut.
Which is the same case for many wrestlers. Take AJ Styles for example. Becoming a world class champion didn’t happen over night. Being able to travel the world, compete in different places  didn’t just happen when he woke up one day. Just like many others that come before, and after him, it took years, and years of practice to be at the level that they are.

**BREAKING NEWS**
Great news for NXT!!!
Mauro Ranallo has signed a deal with WWE to be a  commentator for NXT.  Recent history shows that Ranallo left WWE due to conflict with fellow commentator John Bradshaw Layfield.
