Do you hate the ships?
yes or no.
never
imho, shipping is what naturally happens when romantics (or aros who like looking at romantics under a microscope like bugs) get invested in characters
so there being shipping of any sort means you guys like the characters
and that's awesome

could i ask how you make your voice sound the way it does when you do the gangle voice lines? I want to try my own impression and curious how you do yours
Gangle has three distinct voices so far, and each of them are placed slightly differently in my mouth/throat to create them.
Tragedy - Made by imitating what I sound like when I'm actually crying. It's very much in the nasal part of the face with a lot of vocal fry. Sniffling before delivering each line can help make it sound more real. Voice cracks are encouraged and should not be shied away from. It's hard to give more instruction on how to do it, though, because it truly is just my real crying voice. I find that people with naturally higher voices actually have a bit of trouble making it sound the same, and it's easier if you have a naturally lower voice like I do and are pitching up to cry instead. That's where a lot of the natural vocal fry comes from.
Comedy - Very soft, higher in pitch than my natural voice but not too high. Front of the mouth placement. You should feel your soft palette at the roof of your mouth engaging when you do this voice. Not very loud. I know there isn't much Comedy Gangle in the show to work with as far as learning to imitate her goes, but one cultural touchstone I think gets pretty close is Fluttershy, specifically in the song "What My Cutie Mark is Telling Me". If you can do that, but slightly higher pitched, you're pretty close. I also do a decent bit of these voice in my "Saying a Lot of Things as Gangle from Digital Circus(?)" video on my YouTube channel if you'd like to reference that.
Manic - All head voice. Very high-pitched, should feel like it's coming out of your forehead. Much louder than Comedy, practically half-shouting everything. This is the top of my register without manipulating my throat, so my instinct is to tell people to go as high as they can, but if you can go higher than me, that's not quite right. You'll need to figure out where exactly my "top" lands in your own register and try to aim for that. It might be in the middle for you.
If you have trouble with "placement" and understanding what I mean by that, one trick I teach my voice acting students is called the "Humming Trick". Everyone places their voice differently in their body to create their natural voice. People speak from the head, the nose, the front of the mouth, the back of the throat, or the chest. When you hum, you should feel one of these areas vibrate. As you proceed down (from head to chest), the pitch should get lower as you allow more reverberation to occur in your vocal folds. This is why smaller people (who tend to speak from the head/nose/mouth) have higher-pitched voiced than larger people (who tend to speak from the throat/chest). Training your voice to "move placement" will naturally change your voice, even without much forcing, because it's changing the amount of air you're allowing to flow through your vocal folds, which is the thing that creates people's natural voices. This is my biggest trick to creating huge differences in character voices.
Good luck! :)

i think we as a society need to use cell phones/laptops/cars/backpacks to flesh out characters

the first law of tragedies: the end is already written and inevitable. the second law of tragedies: your actions are all your own and you can choose to get off this ride whenever you want. the third law of tragedies: we both know that you are never going to do that.

Listen, I completely understand why it was an issue for some people, but I still think that naming the original release of Deltarune “SURVEY_PROGRAM.exe” was really really funny

Guys.
If we manifested Kerdly out of almost nothing, I will actually launch myself straight into the sun
(I KNOW THAT BERDLY HAS A CRUSH ON SUSIE TOO, however it doesn't seem like he would talk to her like that? I think he would be more like "m'lady" about it. "It disgusts me to say this but I guesss,,, you can go with me" that's more like him talking to Kris to me. We didn't see him interact with anyone else tho so who knows.)

I had to do a quick little art of one of the sprites from the winter newsletter! I thought that Toriel catching snow on her tongue was just very sweet and atmospheric!
And a bonus: (dog twiddling realistic human thumbs)
