Now we know it clearly that her siblings are quintuplets twins. As this is abmormall pregnancy, the risk of complication post partum is really high. Is it make sense if her mother was died because of that problem.

The fact that purin's parents had a background story as an acrobatic player in a circus made me remember kalaido star🥲 and make sense if her father need to have show tour righttt

The reason why purin and her sibling couldnt come along his father maybe because purins still need to school and then its difficult to live nomadenly with this little babies😭🙏

TMMN Ep 15 Thoughts - ORIGINAL MOMENTS

I loved everything about this episode, specialy the original bits. In the manga or the original anime, we never knew much or anything at all about Purin’s parents. We only know her father was a martial artist training in the montains and so had to abandon his family. Her mother died probbably of a weak body or sickness.

New changed all of that, Purin background probably changed because well … there’s no need to abandon your family to go train in the montains when they have a dojo XD 90s-2000 anime plots be like ;v

Having them be part of the same job/perfomance and falling in love is cute

Having the dad being absence because he’s busy working overseas with the circus seems much more plausible BUT strange at the same time if we think about it, usually the kids also travel with the crew members…..eh,,,,

Purin meeting her baby sibilings is so sweet and creates an effect of family bulding for the viewers

New again with goal in life/what you wanna be when you grow up? I don’t think Purin mom changed much from her original debut in 2002

Poor Purin, she doesn’t want her sibilings down, there’s always next year nad (maybe) even the Mews are invited.

This was a really nice touch of the girls, such a great friendship

KALEIDO STAR ANYONE? Since she appears as a spirit its safe to assume that she died in the hospital due to post labors problems, weak health

As far as this remake story, and the original too. We dont now (yet) the background story or the family of zakuro🥲😭🙏

Another divergence from the original canon I just noticed in episode 13 — with this shot, there’s no question in the viewer’s mind that the Blue Knight is not Ryou or Keiichiro.

In the OG anime and in the manga, the viewer is left to question this for a beat as Ichigo scrambles to try to identify the Blue Knight’s identity after this battle.

Makes me wonder if TMMN wants to make it more explicit to the audience from the get-go that the Blue Knight is Masaya, even if Ichigo still struggles to figure it out. They’re doing something similar with Ichigo’s identity for TMMN — it’s pretty obvious at this point that Masaya knows Ichigo is a Mew, even if Ichigo can’t see it.

TOKYO MEW MEW SEASON 2 (4-4-2023)

In this season, i like the new op and ed song. It's so fresh, modern, and totally new concept. In the first season, they gave us a nostalgic op and ed theme song. They really bring the original vibes into the new version. For me, i prefer the first season theme ( for the op and ed) but still i support and loveee this season for sure!!

The first episode of this season is so EPIC! The color, the lightning, the animation and the story is totally insane! 🫶 i think because they give it a little change to the story rightt? And theBlue knight , omg im so inlove with his new design😍

What actually is said in the rain scene? The subs were wrong using I like you instead of I love you (except doing it at end for some reason?) and now you said it's not I knew you would come but "I waited for you this whole time" why did they mess with it so bad?

because the translator didn't make her job. I wonder what she's paid for...

anyway it's like you said, "suki da" could be translated as "I like you" but in that context is "I love you". Maybe she translated Masaya's second declaration differently because he says "suki da yo", yo gives more strenght to the line. So the correct translation would be: first declaration "I love you", second one "I love you so much".

And he said "zutto matteta", it's "I waited for you all this time", absolutely not "I knew you would have arrived". This wrong translation even contraddicts the story: as we'll discover later, he absolutely wasn't sure she would have arrived, but he waited for her anyway.

Tmm remake is already something for me. It was my dream to see this anime again since 2008 and so here we are.

I dreaaam alot about how if tmm is make into a groupband, bcause i really like to listen all of the character song and so here we are. We have smewthie. I never think all of my wishes come true.

And i mention smewthie twice to cover koi wa ala mode. Now i get the iconic opening song from 2002 getting re-arranged in this remake ver.

How happy i am😭😭😭😭🙏
