Hace miles años, los dragones gobernaban las tierras de @kaelkoth bajo el beneplácito y afecto del Creador con sabiduría, dedicación y benevolencia. El Viejo Mundo era un lugar hermoso, donde las guerras no abundaban y la magia lo recorría todo sin límites, ni complicaciones. Un día, por desgracia, todo cambió. Los dioses, cansados de estar a la sombra de los escamados, convocaron un poderoso hechizo que sumió a los dragones y al Creador en un sueño profundo, que debía ser eterno, para poder reinar sobre el mundo y sus razas sin intermediarios, ni seres superiores. Sin embargo, el destino fue caprichoso y pasados mil años, los dragones despertaron encontrándose en un mundo que les era completamente desconocido, hostil y cruel con los suyos. Donde antes habitaba la paz, la guerra había ganado camino, y donde antes se desplegaban inmensos espacios naturales, se erigían nuevas ciudades y reinos que contaban con sus propios gobernantes. 

Iracundos, desorientados y rotos ante el hallazgo de los restos profanados de los suyos a manos de los cazadores de dragones, muchos de los escamados han desatado su furia sobre las tierras de Kaelkoth dispuestos a quemarlo todo. Una de las dragonas que se ha dejado llevar también por sus emociones es Idhat Elamshir, la última esposa del antiguo rey dragón Kalenthal, que ha estado durante todo un año buscando a su marido, a sus hijos y al resto de sus familiares y amigos. 

En esta búsqueda, busco, valga la redundancia, a su desaparecido esposo, a su hijo primogénito, a un nuevo amante y aliado en estos tiempos convulsos, al resto de su progenie y parientes, así como aliados y enemigos. Si te apetece vivir una aventura dramática, intensa y fantástica donde recuperar el lugar de los dragones es primordial, te invito a sobrevolar las vastas tierras de Kaelkoth.
