Constellations (Gooday/Fooxay).
Summary: When deciding to go out to a bar to unwind after a busy week, Misty Day didn't count she would feel so weird after a stranger complimented her Cordelia.
NSFW. So sweet it hurts.
The last month had been the best of Misty Day’s life. Yes, she was still struggling with a few nightmares and the suffocating feeling that sometimes hit her out of nowhere from being trapped in Hell for two years, but she was now finally managing to be true to herself. And that had no price. And if things felt so good now, Misty could only imagine how amazing they would feel in a while. Misty had finally managed to talk to Cordelia—and really talk to her. They both shared their feelings, their insecurities, their fears and wishes. And, after an eventful night, they ended up making love and waking up tangled in each other’s limbs as they were supposed to have done years ago. They didn’t need to really say much to each other about where they stood in the relationship; Cordelia knew Misty Day was the one for her, and so did Misty. And ever since that night, they had been together. Cordelia had given her one of her matching frog rings, so they could wear a little something that always reminded them of each other, and Misty had happily put it on and never taken it off again. She often found herself mindlessly playing with the ring with her thumb, mind wandering to Cordelia and to how utterly magical it felt to know they belonged to one another. With the new duties, Cordelia had been working a lot, and while they always managed to see each other, that wasn’t all Misty was concerned about. Cordelia needed to rest, too. And she needed to allow herself to not think much about everything and everyone. So, after sharing her concerns with the girls, Queenie suggested they went out to a bar and had a few snacks. No one necessarily needed to drink if they didn’t want to—Zoe had made that clear, knowing Misty was definitely not ready to lose her senses again—and it could be a fun way to see other people, eat different food, chat and just simply have fun. At first, Misty was apprehensive; what if that stressed Cordelia out even more? But after listening to the girls’ list of reasons why it could be fun, she decided to give it a shot. The worst that could happen would be her and Cordelia leaving earlier than everyone to go cuddle in bed. In all honesty, that didn’t sound bad at all.
Friday arrived, and when the Sun went home and the night fell, Misty Day found herself gently knocking on Cordelia’s office door. She had been working all day since they had woken up at seven and shared a loving kiss. At lunch, Misty had forced Cordelia to take a proper break, but it was soon cut short by a call from the council. “Come on in,” Cordelia shouted softly from inside. Misty cracked the door open and peeked in. Her curls entered the room before her face did, and the Supreme smiled at her, with her glasses on the tip of her nose and eyes heavy from being glued to a screen all day. “Hi, sweetheart. Everything alright?” Sweetheart. Misty was still growing used to the pet name. It evoked such a sweet and somehow nostalgic feeling inside her. Misty Day wasn’t sure if she remembered correctly, but a lost memory told her that’s how her father used to call her, long before she grew up, long before he burned her to death at the stake. She avoided thinking much about it.
“Just fine.” With quiet steps, Misty closed the door behind her. It made no sound. She smiled at her girlfriend. Even tired, Cordelia managed to look gorgeous. And she was wearing those glasses that made her look even more professional than she already did. Misty Day loved it. “Me and the girls thought it would be a good idea to go out to a bar tonight… just chill a little, enjoy the Friday. Everyone’s been busy.” She walked closer to Cordelia, and the Supreme pulled her chair back and patted her lap. Gladly, Misty sat down, with both legs to one side and an arm around Cordelia’s shoulders.
“A bar?” Cordelia’s arms found their place around Misty Day’s waist, pulling her closer and caressing her on top of her beautiful dress and shawl. Misty nodded. “I didn’t take you for the bar kind-of-person,” Cordelia teased, and Misty Day let out a chuckle that warmed the whole room. With a smile, Cordelia leaned to kiss her lips. Promptly, Misty kissed her back. The butterflies on their stomach never got old.
“I’m not, but I thought it could be fun with you.” Misty said as they pulled away. She reached to carefully push Cordelia’s glasses up on her nose, making sure they rested at a comfortable place. Cordelia nodded.
“I think it can be, I just—“ Cordelia looked over to her desk, full of papers and forms, with her notebook open to a page full of names and e-mail addresses. She sighed. “I have so much to do, still. I don’t think I can finish early.” Misty Day frowned. She didn’t like one bit the way Cordelia’s eyes seemed so heavy, the way her shoulders felt so tense and the way she mentioned how much her head and back hurt when they cuddled at night.
“Delia, you’ve been working long hours ever since I came back—before that, probably, too. I’m worried you’ll exhaust yourself.” Misty Day offered a sad smile, and Cordelia felt herself melting at the way her beautiful blue eyes stared at her ever so lovingly. Cordelia always felt special when she was with Misty Day. Before Cordelia could protest, however, Misty already shot back. “You can’t be a good Supreme if you’re always so tired…” Misty raised her eyebrows in a way that showed she knew she had Cordelia exactly where she wanted. And she indeed did, Cordelia had no trouble admitting that when it came to Misty. The last month had been full of evidence about how much they knew each other. It was one of the loveliest feelings in the world, to love someone so much and be loved right back. Cordelia chuckled.
“You know exactly how to convince me, don’t you?” The words were sweet and playful, full of affection for the statement Cordelia loved to witness. Misty opened a big, cheeky smile, and the Supreme laughed and leaned to kiss her again. She caressed Misty Day’s curls with one hand, apple scent invading her nose. “Fine,” she whispered as their foreheads touched. “I’ll happily go with you.” Misty’s smile grew a little more.
“Will ya’ take it easier next week?” Misty Day asked as their foreheads kept together. Cordelia was hesitant, but she nodded. Now, Misty was satisfied. She kissed Cordelia’s forehead. “We leave in half an hour.” Cordelia nodded again.
“I’ll finish up here and meet you downstairs.” She pecked Misty Day’s lips yet again. They both smiled. Being away from each other’s kisses was proving itself to be a harder task than anticipated—not that any of them minded. They had longed for it long enough. Misty Day nodded and got up to make her way out of the office, stealing one last glance of her beautiful girlfriend in her working attire before leaving the room.
-
As promised, Cordelia met the girls downstairs in no time. She hadn’t changed outfits, being still in her trousers and fancy blouse, but Misty did realize how her hair looked a bit different than before, as well as her makeup, although that could be explained by the lack of glasses, now. Misty Day smiled up from her place on the couch.
“Miss Supreme in all her glory ready to get boozed!” Queenie teased, and the whole room filled with laughter.
“A glass of wine and no more for me.” Cordelia felt the need to say as her own laugh died down. Now, with her mother not around and the confidence she had worked so hard to obtain, Cordelia didn’t mind the playful banter the girls did. She could understand it came from a place of affection rather than a place of malice, and it actually caused her to feel appreciated.
“Are we all ready?” Zoe asked as she looked around, and as everyone nodded they called two Ubers and made their way to the bar.
-
Music hummed inside the four walls, with dim lighting and the buzz of chattering. Misty wrapped her fingers around Cordelia’s and caressed them, standing close to her. It felt safe that way. They found a booth big enough to accommodate everyone and followed that way. Soon, they were already chatting amongst themselves, with Mallory and Coco examining the menu and choosing the first round of snacks—pretzels for everyone. Misty looked around in curiosity, getting used to the new place and situating herself. She had been doing that a lot ever since coming back; Misty Day had developed a need to understand her surroundings in a physical manner: Where she could exit the building, where was the bathroom, where were the doors, did they have a fire alarm… being trapped somewhere again was something she dreaded. As if reading her thoughts, Cordelia leaned to kiss Misty Day’s cheek and pull her away from her trance. “I can always transmute us back home, don’t worry,” she whispered, and Misty’s face heated up as she looked at beloved chocolate eyes.
“Sorry… habit.” Nervously, she played with Cordelia’s fingers. The Supreme shook her head and smiled a little.
“No need to apologize, sweetheart. I love you, I’ll always be here to ease your mind.” Even though Misty Day knew that, it still felt good to hear the reassurance. Cordelia always made sure she reassured Misty Day, whether it was during a situation like that, or during Misty’s nightmares and her ashamed demeanor when she realized she had, once again, woken up Cordelia in the middle of the night.
“I love ya’, too.” Blue eyes fell down a second before looking back up at Cordelia. “You look gorgeous, Delia.” Getting used to all the compliments Misty told her wasn’t easy, but it was something Cordelia was gladly getting used to. With a bright smile, she forced her brown eyes not to look away, and Misty realized it was one of those times where Cordelia smiled like that, with her tongue between her teeth and her cheeks tinting in color. Even though Misty Day already complimented Cordelia a lot, she made sure to keep that information in her mind. That was the most beautiful smile to ever exist. Before Cordelia could respond, however, Coco entered their little bubble.
“Guys, we’re choosing the drinks.” She slipped them one of the menus. Cordelia caught it.
“Thank you.” She held it up in a way that both her and Misty could read, letting go of Misty’s hand to do so. Now, Misty Day wrapped an arm around Cordelia’s waist and leaned closer to look at the options. Brown eyes scanned the wine section; they only sold by the bottle. Misty didn’t like wine, Cordelia knew that, so getting a whole bottle would be wasteful; she definitely couldn’t and wouldn’t drink it all alone. Pondering the other options, Cordelia settled on a Martini. “I’ll have a Martini. Dry.”
Misty sucked on her lower lip. Nothing looked exactly tasty, until a drink with chocolate, milk, and rum caught her attention. “I’ll have the, uh, Rumcolate.” She chuckled. That was a silly name.
“Same.” Queenie nodded.
Zoe got in charge of ordering for everyone, and soon they had their drinks in hand and pretzels on the center of the table, ready to be shared. Misty reached for one and offered it to Cordelia. She figured she’d be hungry after spending the whole day with only breakfast and lunch. That was something that also concerned Misty: How little Cordelia ate sometimes. Misty Day liked to eat, that was no secret, and Cordelia seemed to eat so little compared to her that Misty couldn’t help but worry. Yes, Cordelia had perfect health from being the Supreme, but Misty still wanted her to enjoy the pleasures of life. A bagel full of cream cheese never hurt anyone. “Wanna’ bite?” Cordelia chuckled and leaned to do so. Misty held the pretzel with a napkin, carefully pulling it away once Cordelia had begun chewing.
“You’re too good to me,” Cordelia murmured as she covered her mouth with a hand, and Misty laughed and took the rest of the pretzel into her mouth.
“Nonsense,” Misty murmured back. She reached to take a sip of her drink; it burned down her throat, but it tasted just like regular milk and chocolate syrup. She would be careful not to forget it had actual alcohol. Queenie commented on how good the pretzels tasted, and the girls agreed and began sipping on their drinks. Time passed fast with all the conversations and laughs they shared. Cordelia seemed to be enjoying herself, and for that Misty was glad. She watched them quietly, enjoying the pleasant environment she found herself at. Mallory and Zoe began discretely talking about the boys at the bar, while Queenie and Coco challenged themselves with shots and pretzels. Misty was on her second drink already, and she had decided that would be her last, for her vision was starting to get a little funny. Cordelia, on the other side, had barely finished her first. With everyone caught up in their conversations, Misty leaned closer to her girlfriend. “I’m gonna go to the bathroom. Wanna join?”
Cordelia took a final bite of the pretzel she had been eating. She nodded. “I need to use it, too. Come on.” She got up and reached for Misty Day’s hand, letting the girls know where they were going. A drunk Coco wiggled her eyebrows, and Misty blushed at what that wiggle implied. She hadn’t even thought about anything, but now just because the idea crossed her mind she wanted to kiss her Supreme like she hadn’t been able to do all day. They swayed through the crowd of people, and Cordelia made sure Misty was close behind her. Finally, they reached the bathroom, and with that came a quieter atmosphere. Misty was glad her ears got a break, and when she realized the stalls as well as the sink area were all empty, she bit her lip and pulled Cordelia closer, colliding their lips together in a passionate kiss. It took the Supreme by surprise, and she smiled before managing to kiss Misty Day back. Hands pulled each other closer by the waist, while one of Cordelia’s cupped the back of Misty’s neck carefully. The sweet scent of apple that radiated from her curls never failed to make her hum.
“Honey?” Cordelia murmured as she pulled away, eyes searching for ocean blues. Misty offered her a somewhat cheeky smile, and her lip got caught between her pearl teeth in a way Cordelia had grown to love. Licking her lips, the Supreme couldn’t help but lean to kiss her again. Misty wasn’t sure if it could possibly be because of the alcohol or not, but Cordelia’s kisses felt even better than usual. Strong arms pulled the Supreme closer by her trousers, and they only pulled away when air became a necessity.
“I couldn’t help it.” Misty didn’t know why she was explaining herself; by the way Cordelia was looking at her, she was more than glad to be making out with Misty Day, in a filthy bar’s bathroom. Cordelia shook her head and kissed her again in a lingering peck.
“I love it.” The words came, once again, in a murmur. Misty’s stomach flipped inside. They finally pulled away after a second. “Toilet?”
“Yeah.” With a chuckle, Misty got to a stall. She heard the door beside her closing, indicating that Cordelia was in the stall beside her. While using the toilet, she could hear the door of the bathroom opening and heels clacking inside. She didn’t pay it much attention, except when she heard Cordelia’s voice thanking the woman for something she hadn’t heard, accompanied with the sound of water from the sink. Her eyebrows furrowed.
“I haven’t seen you around before. You’re not a regular, are you?” The unfamiliar voice asked. Misty Day finished her business and got up to flush the toilet.
“I’m not, no. I think it’s the first time I come here.” Cordelia answered, polite and classy as she always were.
“Of course. Such a beauty wouldn’t go unnoticed.”
Misty Day opened the bathroom stall. She looked at Cordelia and at the unfamiliar woman. Yes, she was beautiful, but Misty was ignoring that. Something unusual boiled inside her stomach, and for a second Misty nearly sent a roll of toilet paper flying across the bathroom and to that woman’s head. Quietly, she walked to the sink beside Cordelia’s to wash her hands. She watched them through the mirror, now. It was discrete, but Cordelia took a step closer to Misty and reached to caress her back.
“Well, um,” Cordelia cleaned her throat. “Thank you.” She turned to Misty Day. “Sweetheart, are you done?” Misty nodded, eyes still glued on the other woman. She wiped her hands dry on her own dress, and before she had much time to think about any other flying roll of toilet paper, Cordelia reached for her hand and pulled her back towards the crowd. Misty Day didn’t like the way she felt right now, with a mix of anger and insecurity crowding her senses. Something about seeing that woman—such a beautiful woman—complimenting her Cordelia made her feel weird. She didn’t like it. And of course, Cordelia knew it. Cordelia knew everything Misty felt, like she was an open book Cordelia knew by heart. When they reached the booth, only Zoe and Mallory were still there.
“Where are the other girls?” Cordelia asked as she pulled Misty Day to sit down beside her. Strong arms wrapped around her waist nearly instantly, and a head full of curls rested on her shoulder. Cordelia smiled to herself.
“At the bar, getting more drinks.” Zoe munched on a pretzel. Mallory soon asked her something, and the girls were back at laughing at some words they slurred in their tipsy state.
Cordelia turned back at her lover. Blue eyes stared at her, big and darker than usual. She frowned, but before she could say something, Misty kissed her. And really kissed her, like she had done before in the bathroom, like she did when they made love. But this time, it was slightly different; it carried a stronger grip, a more carnal feeling to it. Cordelia was not one to deny any kiss from Misty, and so she kissed her back with the same intensity. “Mm… Misty…” she murmured, forcing their kiss to break. She stared at blue eyes again, but Misty was serious. Cordelia frowned. “Misty, what’s wrong?” One of her hands reached to pull a curl away from Misty Day’s beautiful face.
“Nothin’.” Misty murmured, but Cordelia arched her eyebrows gently.
“Sweetheart…” Cordelia pressed, and once again, Misty denied with a shake of her head and a sigh. Misty Day found it foolish, how something so small managed to make her feel so weird. Blue eyes fell down. Why did she feel so embarrassed all of a sudden? And why did she feel so bad? With her finger as light as a feather, Cordelia lifted Misty Day’s chin. “My love… tell me what’s wrong?” For a second, Cordelia grew worried it could be something truly serious; what if Misty had a flashback and needed to go home? What if the crowd made her feel suffocated again? It was easy for Cordelia’s mind to spiral. And it only got worse when Misty Day pulled away and looked down at her rings, playing with the frog one without saying a word. Cordelia sucked on her lower lip, wondering what could she do to make things better. “Do you want to go outside to get some air?” Misty Day nodded. Cordelia glanced at the girls, seeing they were way too caught on their own conversation, so she didn’t bother interrupting them. They would be back soon, and if they didn’t, Cordelia could just text them. Once again, they got up, and Cordelia guided them outside. A few people stood against the front walls of the building, smoking and chatting. Cordelia couldn’t stand the smell of tobacco, it reminded her too much of Fiona, of the way her breath and clothes and hair and everything around her smelled. She looked over to a bench on the other side of the street, and without thinking twice guided them there. The night had grown chilly, and a soft breeze caressed their hair. Misty Day was still quiet, blue eyes glued at her boots as they sat down on the cold wood. It squeaked with their weight. Cordelia kept their fingers tangled, turning her torso to fully stare at her girlfriend. Misty Day looked distressed. Cordelia was nearly agonizing at this point, but still, she allowed Misty to take her time and take her breaths of fresh air. The sky looked beautiful, full of stars that shinned through even though they were seating underneath a streetlamp.
“I’m sorry,” Misty sighed after a few minutes of silence. Cordelia shook her head, reaching to pull some curls behind Misty Day’s ear and caressing her cheek before pulling away.
“You don’t have to apologize, sweetheart… just tell me if you’re alright. I’m worried about you.” Misty hadn’t realized Cordelia’s mind had been spiraling. She felt a hint of guilt invading her chest, and it only made things more overwhelming.
“I’m okay, I just—“ Misty finally looked up to Cordelia. Blue eyes had grown teary. It broke Cordelia’s heart. “I… that—that woman, in the bathroom…” Cordelia frowned. Misty Day hadn’t expected her girlfriend to understand right away when she herself didn’t know what was going on, either. It was frustrating. “She… the way she looked an’ talked to you…” Oh. It finally started to down on Cordelia. The interaction had caused Misty to be jealous. That was a first since they had begun dating. Cordelia held herself not to smile; she couldn’t help but think that was a little sweet. Hank was never jealous of her, not that it meant anything, but sometimes feeling appreciated was hard around him. But despite Cordelia’s efforts, Misty Day watched the way her expression had changed, and the way the corners of her lips turned up a little. “W-what?”
“Sweetheart,” Cordelia allowed herself to open a loving smile. “Have you ever been jealous before?” Misty looked at her like she had said something out of this world. Cordelia nearly melted on the spot; how was it possible, for someone to be so unintentionally adorable? Even though they were both adults—30 and 34— and definitely too old to be feeling all those teenage-like emotions, love knew no limits. That was fine by them. That was the beauty of true love; it makes you feel young, it gives you life and all the sensations that come with it.
“Jealous?” Misty knew what it was; she was no fool. But she hadn’t ever considered herself to be a jealous person. But again, she had never loved someone as much as she loved Cordelia. Slowly, she nodded her head at her girlfriend’s question. Yes, she had been jealous before, but it had never mingled with her love life. That was all new territory for her. Out of the blue, Misty Day’s pale cheeks turned pink. She didn’t really know what to say. Should she apologize? Was Cordelia mad at her? Why was Cordelia looking at her with those eyes that carried so much affection? And why was her head suddenly bombarding her with so many self-doubting thoughts?
Sensing Misty’s confusion, Cordelia scooted closer to her. “Hey,” she said softly, wanting to pull Misty Day back to their reality. The hand that wasn’t tangled in Misty’s reached to caress her bare knee. “It’s okay to get a little jealous, you know… it’s natural. Everyone’s afraid of losing someone.” Losing someone. Misty Day hadn’t thought of it that way. In reality, she hadn’t had much time to think about the sudden feeling. But it made sense, almost too much sense, and Misty felt herself nearly regretting learning that about herself, for once you learn something you can’t simply un-learn it. Having insecurities was not something Misty dealt with a lot. Yes, she had her moments, but being alone for so long caused her to need to trust herself more. Did she trust herself to keep Cordelia around? Cordelia was the Supreme. The most powerful witch on this earth. She had class and all those manners Misty never had the chance to learn, she knew Latin and how to use that absurd amount of silverware people put on the table when they had fancy dinners. Misty Day didn’t know any of that. Misty knew how to make a wound feel better by putting mud on it, knew how to wander the swamps barefoot in a way that didn’t hurt her feet, knew the right spots to collect berries that were safe to eat. It was a cruel realization of how different they were. Blue eyes fell down to their intertwined fingers. The frogs on their rings cuddled together. A tear slid down one of Misty’s cheeks, and Cordelia was quick to reach for it and carefully wipe it away with her thumb. “Misty… talk to me. I’m here for you.” Cordelia was trying her best to understand, and the smile on her lips had vanished at the sight of the tear. With her thumb, she caressed Misty Day’s cheek and gently guided her head up so they could look into each other’s eyes. It took a moment, but the chocolate oceans gave Misty enough confidence to start speaking again.
“I had never realized h-how different we are,” it came nearly in a whisper. Cordelia frowned again, eyebrows drawing close and forming a dimple on her forehead. Panic began clouding Cordelia’s chest. Of course their relationship was too good to last. Misty Day made Cordelia happy, and it had been proved time and time again that anything that made her happy couldn’t stay. Perhaps Fiona was right… she was truly unlovable. Before Cordelia could wet her sudden dry lips to protest, Misty continued her words. “You’re all fancy an’ so smart… ya’ could have anyone you want. That woman—she could easily be b-better than me. She could easily show y-ya’ you’re wasting your potential with me.” Another tear slid down her cheek. Cordelia shook her head as her own eyes matched the mistiness of her girlfriend’s.
“M-Misty, what are you saying?” In all honesty, Cordelia was scared to hear the answer. She was still processing Misty Day’s words. How could she possibly see herself like that when in Cordelia’s eyes, Misty Day was an angel sent from heaven, perfectly crafted to match her. From the way they thought, to the things they enjoyed and the way they slept at night effortlessly cuddled into one another, they fit perfectly.
“That I’m scared I’m not good enough for you, Delia.” The words caused a type of pain Cordelia hadn’t felt before. She now cupped Misty’s cheeks with both hands, wiping the cascading tears as she struggled with her own.
“Don’t ever say that, Misty.” Even though the words were firm, Cordelia kept them soft. They were laced in love and care and everything she felt for the woman in front of her. “You’re the best part of me. You make me feel like I’ve never felt b-before. You make me feel like I’m so worth of everything g-good in this world… in fact, sometimes I worry I don’t deserve you.” Now it was Misty’s time to frown. She couldn’t see where Cordelia was coming from.
“Delia… I don’t understand h-how you could possibly t-think that.” Misty caressed Cordelia’s waist on top of her blouse, eyes staring deep into beloved brown ones. “If I could, I’d give ya’ the Moon and the stars.”
“You give me so much more than that, Misty.” Cordelia sniffled, and Misty leaned against the hands caressing her cheeks. “You give me a whole universe I never knew existed. Don’t ever doubt that.”
“Ya’ deserve more than that.” Misty leaned to kiss Cordelia. It was so delicate it nearly made her tears start falling stronger. “You deserve everything good, all the roses and the gardenias.”
“You are my whole garden, Misty.” Cordelia tucked a curl back on Misty Day’s ear, preventing it from sticking to her wet cheeks. “Don’t you see? No one makes me happier.” This time, Misty offered a small smile. She pondered the words, trying to make sense of them. They didn’t, but if Cordelia felt that way, that was all that mattered. While she made Cordelia happy, she would gladly stay, for Cordelia made her the happiest. She leaned to kiss her again.
“I love ya’ so much,” Misty whispered against the Supreme’s lips. “So, so much.” Cordelia smiled and kissed Misty Day again, fingers tangling in the curls and caressing them like they were the eighth wonder in the world. Misty Day was all the wonders in Cordelia’s universe.
“I love… you… Misty Day…” They didn’t want to pull away, but the necessity of air forced them to. Cordelia had no will of going back to the bar whatsoever. She much rather go home and cuddle with Misty, feel her close, hold her tight. But Misty had been so excited to come to this bar it was only right for her to stay. Misty Day eyed the building across the street.
“Do you wanna’ go back?” It was an honest question. Misty would do anything for Cordelia, but the appeal of being out had phased out by now. Cordelia found herself in a dilema, so she went with the best way out.
“Do you?” They both stared at each other, and after a second a small chuckle left their lips. Misty Day shook her head, and Cordelia let out a laugh. “And you say we’re different.” She kissed her nose and pulled away to call an Uber. Misty blushed, but didn’t say anything back. The silly observation made her feel better. It took no time for the Uber to get there, and Cordelia texted Zoe to let them know they were alright and calling it a night. She received a text back with what she figured was supposed to be an ‘ok’.
When they got back into the big mansion, Misty looked around at the new perspective that was provided. It was so quiet with no one around, which made the building seem even bigger than it already was. It was quite intimidating. But also interesting… they never had the house to themselves before. And they hadn’t experienced that while dating yet. Cordelia looked at Misty and wrapped an arm around her waist, leaning to kiss her cheek. Misty turned and kissed her full on the lips, just like she had done earlier in the bathroom. Cordelia smiled and pulled her closer by the waist with both hands, and this time Misty Day took the liberty to sneak her hands underneath Cordelia’s blouse once she tucked it away from her trousers, fingertips ghosting over her soft skin and eventually pulling her even closer. “Mm,” Cordelia hummed, arms wrapping on Misty Day’s shoulders. In a swift motion, Misty picked the Supreme up. Cordelia let out a giggle, which caused their kiss to break. “Misty!”
“Yes?” Misty Day smiled cheekily. She turned them around and used the wall as a support for Cordelia’s back, hands holding her thighs. Cordelia wrapped her legs around Misty’s middle, biting her lower lip as brown eyes scanned her girlfriend’s beautiful face. Cordelia kissed Misty Day again, stronger this time. It nearly caused Misty’s legs to wobble, sending a delicious heat down her stomach.
“I need to confess you something,” Cordelia murmured as she pulled away from the kiss, stopping to gently nibble on Misty’s bottom lip. The sound Misty made was heavenly, and it caused Cordelia’s hips to chant up and against Misty Day’s. “Your strength is something I deeply like.” Opening a smile, Misty allowed one of her hands to caress Cordelia’s butt. In this past month, she had found out Cordelia had a nicer butt than she had imagined. Which was a nearly impossible task.
“Really?” Cordelia nodded. Misty watched as she chewed on her bottom lip, as if formulating another thought, so she gave her time to think, continuing with her light caresses.
“It makes me—it makes me really hot and bothered…” Cordelia’s cheeks tinted, and Misty fought herself not to take her girlfriend right there and then. She always preferred to take things slow, to enjoy and caress every single part of Cordelia, to worship her body like she truly deserved. With a loss of words, the only thing Misty could possibly do was kiss the beautiful lips that presented themselves in front of her, and that’s what she did. Their kisses continued to grow in heat as the seconds passed by. Even though Misty hadn’t answered her confession with words, the way she pulled Cordelia closer by the butt and kissed her in that way that left her weak in the knees was more than enough of an answer for Cordelia. Air kept on becoming a necessity time and time again, and so Misty decided to kiss down to Cordelia’s neck. The expanse made it itself bigger when the Supreme threw her head back, giving more room for Misty. Misty Day went straight to Cordelia’s pulse point, nibbling gently on the trembling skin.
“I want to mark ya’…” Misty Day murmured. Her tongue soothed the area her teeth had just sank in, desperate for approval to leave a mark. Cordelia was breathing hard.
“Mark me.”
Misty Day stooped to look at brown eyes. Cordelia had realized, in their previous love-making sessions, how Misty Day held herself not to leave any hickeys on her skin. Cordelia appreciated it, but tonight she wanted the whole world to know she belonged to the most amazing, lovely person to ever grace this universe. “Are you sure?” Cordelia didn’t need to think twice as she nodded her head.
“I want everyone to know I belong to you.” The way Cordelia said those words… the way her eyes had grown darker, the way her legs were wrapped so tightly around Misty Day’s middle… something inside Misty had woken up. After their conversation at the bar earlier, those words carried even more meaning. And so, with her mouth nearly watering and eyes nearly black from arousal, Misty kissed Cordelia’s neck again, open-mouthed and with so much gusto. She sucked on her jaw, not yet leaving a mark, and moved down to kiss Cordelia’s pulse point yet again, and then, once she heard Cordelia letting out a small whimper, she sucked on the skin. She sucked hard, like she had been dreaming on doing ever since they had first made love. And Cordelia moaned, with her back arching and hips undulating gently.
“You’re mine,” Misty murmured and nibbled on the skin right after, taking her time to soothe the area with her tongue.
“Yours.” Cordelia insisted her hips against Misty’s in a way that had turned into grinding. Misty Day nodded, giving her neck one last nibble before moving to collide their lips together again. It was a dance of tongues and caresses in perfect synch, with small whimpers being exchanged. “Bed?” Misty Day nodded, and when she opened her eyes again, Cordelia had transmuted them upstairs. Carefully, she walked to the bed and lay Cordelia down on it. The Supreme giggled. Misty watched as she kicked her shoes off and scooted up to the pillows. Once she was comfortable, Cordelia flicked her fingers to turn the bedside lamps on. “I like to see you.”
“Me too.” Misty was the one to kick her shoes and set her shawl aside, now. She crawled on the bed and on top of Cordelia, straddling her hips. Instantly, hands reached to caress her thighs underneath her dress. Misty Day smiled. Blue eyes fell down to the deep, purple mark she had left on her girlfriend’s neck. She bit her lower lip. Cordelia looked beautiful with it.
“Do you like it?” Cordelia asked. Misty Day nodded. “I want more of them.” She reached to pull Misty closer, and she promptly leaned to kiss her lips. Cordelia kissed her back like she was an oasis in the middle of the desert, with her hands roaming up and down the expanse of Misty Day’s waist, hips and thighs. She wanted to undress her. Now that Cordelia could unabashedly stare at Misty Day’s beautiful body, she liked to waste no time in doing so. Gently, she began lifting Misty’s dress, which caused them to pull away. Misty smiled cheekily at the Supreme.
“Tryin’ to get me naked, huh?” Misty Day teased, and Cordelia chuckled before nodding. The dress was soon discarded to the side, falling on the floor with a light swoosh. It left Misty bare with only her matching, green underwear.
“I love it when you’re naked.” Cordelia’s thumbs caressed the expanse of Misty’s abdomen, eyes looking up and down. She felt the way the muscles shifted underneath her touch, and it only caused the heat between her thighs to get worse.
“And I love it when ya’ wear those fancy blouses.” Misty played with the buttons of Cordelia’s garment, slowly starting to undo them. “But I love it even more when you’re naked.” Cordelia bit her lower lip, arching her back so the blouse could get out of the way. It soon met the dress on the floor. Blue eyes were graced with the gorgeous sight of pale skin contrasting with black, lace underwear. Misty’s chest quivered, palms caressing Cordelia’s shoulders. How could it be that Cordelia had not even one single flaw? It always blew Misty Day’s mind in the best of ways.
“I want you to mark them.” Cordelia’s voice had taken that unique tone it only did when they were in the bedroom. Misty licked her lips, eyes struggling but managing to go up to chocolate ones. Without being able to do anything else, Misty kissed Cordelia again. Her tongue danced along with her girlfriend’s in sensual steps, caressing and exploring each corner of her mouth. When her lips began to tingle, Misty Day finally moved down. Cordelia’s back was already arching, and so Misty moved to rest between her legs, with one of her thighs between her girlfriend’s. “Oh…” Cordelia moaned softly. Her hips bucked up, feeling all the muscles of Misty’s thighs even though she was still wearing her trousers. Misty Day undulated her hips back, kisses moving to Cordelia’s jaw, pulse point—where she left another longed for hickey—and followed south. With one hand, Misty started playing with Cordelia’s bra. Her lips teased the valley between her girlfriend’s breasts, eyes searching for Cordelia’s hooded ones. Misty offered her a tiny smirk and sucked on the skin. “Misty—“ Cordelia moaned and threw her head back on the pillows. Her hips undulated again. Misty hummed, and the hand playing with Cordelia’s bra sneaked to undo it. Misty Day had taken no time to master the craft of taking a bra off with only one hand. Cordelia found it very useful. The beautiful lace bra was the one to join the pile of clothes on the floor now, and Misty Day wasted no time to cup one of her girlfriend’s breasts and caress it like it was the most valuable thing she had ever seen; it was, after all, Cordelia. And Cordelia was the most valuable thing Misty had ever had. Misty Day’s ringed fingers played with Cordelia’s nipple, and her eager lips moved to kiss the fat on the underside of Cordelia’s other breast. Now, with all the liberty to mark her girlfriend, Misty wasted no time. She left another beautiful hickey there, humming to herself as the nipple between her fingers grew hard. Cordelia’s hips kept on insisting against her thigh, and every time they did, Cordelia’s leg bumped on her center. Misty Day moaned and took the nipple between her lips, teasing it with her teeth before gently sucking and flicking her tongue against it. Her own hips began grinding against Cordelia’s leg, and she felt herself growing wetter. The cloth of her panties rubbed against her center in a very pleasant way. After taking a louder moan out of Cordelia’s lips, Misty moved to give the same treatment to the other breast, leaving yet another mark on her way, right between Cordelia’s breasts. Soft hands tangled in Misty’s curls, caressing them lovingly. “I… Misty…”
“Yes?” Misty placed a kiss on Cordelia’s abdomen and pulled away to sit between her legs. Spidery fingers began undoing the buttons of Cordelia’s trousers.
“I love y-you,” Cordelia breathed out. She lifted her hips so Misty could easily pull her trousers down. The piece joined the other clothing on the floor. Misty caressed the bare expanse of her girlfriend’s hips, touches pouring love to her skin.
“I love you so much, Cordelia.” Misty Day placed a single kiss on Cordelia’s abdomen, lingering there for a moment. The Supreme smiled to herself, and soon a whimper broke through as Misty’s lips attached themselves to her navel, leaving another hickey there. Misty Day had Cordelia in bed, only in her panties and underneath her. What else could she possibly want?
“Mmgh,” Cordelia’s hips bucked subconsciously. She bit her lower lip and reached to squeeze the sheets instead of tangling her fingers in Misty Day’s curls, afraid of ending up pulling too hard. Misty could already smell Cordelia through her panties, and with that in mind she began tugging the material down and off of her long, beautiful legs. She set it aside, palms guiding Cordelia’s thighs apart. She looked up at her. Brown eyes were already searching for ocean ones. Misty Day offered a smile, genuine and lovingly, and then, with the lightness of a feather, she placed a first kiss on Cordelia’s left thigh. She wanted to make a constellation on her skin, mark each and every patch to show the whole world Cordelia was hers; she was her universe. Moon and stars. Water and dirt. She was the soil that allowed Misty Day to blossom. Her hands pulled Cordelia closer by the hips, caressing them, and so she began to draw the stars. Misty Day kissed every inch of Cordelia’s thighs until her skin reflected the night sky above them. Cordelia focused on all the sensations Misty Day’s lips provided her, and even though she hadn’t come even close to her core yet, Cordelia could already feel her insides moving. Sex—making love—with Misty Day had proven to be way different than anything Cordelia had ever experienced before. Hank had always just fucked her, her ex-boyfriends had never cared about her pleasure, and her past lesbian experiences in college couldn’t hold a candle to how Misty touched her. Misty Day poured love on her skin, touched her in every single place that made Cordelia tremble, made sure to give her pleasure every time they were intimate. The feeling alone of being with someone who truly cared about her already made her insides boil, and that someone being Misty Day, empathic as she was, was the cherry on top. At a particular kiss on her inner thigh, Cordelia’s back arched. She moaned a little louder. Wetness pooled on the sheets. “B-baby… I—please…” Please. Oh, who was Misty to deny anything to her beloved Cordelia?
“I love ya’ so much,” Misty murmured before leaning to kiss Cordelia’s labia, not yet spreading it apart. Her lips got coated in her girlfriend’s arousal and her nose was tickled by the trimmed bush on her mound. Nothing made Misty feel as hot as the taste of her girlfriend on her lips. Her ringed fingers reached to carefully hold Cordelia’s folds apart, exposing her clitoris to her. It was swollen and up for attention already. Cordelia whimpered. “You’re the most beautiful flower, Cordelia…” As light as she could manage, Misty Day pressed a kiss on top of the bundle of nerves. Cordelia’s hips undulated gently, and the room was soon filled with continuous, soft moans as Misty allowed the pad of her tongue to rest against the bud. Misty Day kissed both of Cordelia’s lips with love and passion, wether it was the upper or the lower ones. Her tongue worked in the patterns she had learned Cordelia loved, going up and down and zooming on that special place that caused her girlfriend to curl her toes onto the sheets. More and more wetness poured from Cordelia, and the taste on Misty Day’s lips intensified. When Cordelia let out a particularly whiny moan, Misty knew she was close, so she carefully reached to circle her entrance with a finger. Seeing no signs of discomfort, the digit went in. Ocean eyes looked up to the glorious sight that was Cordelia near her climax, enjoying herself without a single care in the world, and Misty couldn’t help but buck her hips against the mattress. She curled her digit in a pattern that matched her tongue, sliding it in and out at a speed Misty knew was certain to make her girlfriend feel good.
“Agh!” Cordelia’s back arched once again, sharply this time. The bedroom got filled with the sweet aroma of roses. Misty Day knew the Supreme was right there. Fingers tangled in wild curls again, struggling not to pull on the locks, and with the gesture, Misty worked just a little bit faster. The walls around Misty Day’s finger began contracting nonstop, and soon all she could hear was her name spilling out of Cordelia’s lips in that sweet manner only she got to hear. The Supreme’s whole body shook, heat crashing down on her. Eventually, her back hit the mattress again, and Misty slid her finger out of Cordelia only to replace it with her tongue. Cordelia always found it arousing, how much Misty Day genuinely loved to taste her; whenever she pleasured her with her mouth, she always made sure Cordelia ended up clean. This time, it was no different. While breathing hard to calm herself, the Supreme looked down her body and to the head of curls between her thighs. A breathless smile touched her lips. Cordelia now stroked Misty’s hair, belly turning when she heard her girlfriend hum while cleaning her up. No one in the whole world made her feel as loved as Misty Day did. When Misty was finally satisfied with herself, she pulled away to kiss the Supreme’s thighs a little more. Cordelia couldn’t help but giggle. “You do like my thighs, don’t you?” Her voice was a little bit hoarse. With a cheeky smile and moist lips, Misty Day looked up.
“A lot.” She kissed her way up Cordelia’s body, pressing a final kiss to her lips. A hand cupped her cheek and pulled her closer, deepening their kiss. Tasting herself on Misty Day’s lips had become one of Cordelia’s favorite things. “But, I like ya’ more,” Misty Day whispered, therefore breaking their kiss. She smiled at her beautiful girlfriend before kissing her forehead and moving to lay beside her. Cordelia always looked so gorgeous after they made love, with her lips red, messy hair and deep, dark brown eyes. Misty Day could spend the rest of the night just staring at her. Cordelia, however, wanted to do something else rather than just stare at Misty. She bit her lip before kissing Misty Day again, slowly making her way to the top of her. Misty hummed, hands caressing the Supreme’s body all over, eventually resting at her ass. She squeezed the cheeks a little. Cordelia chuckled.
“Ass or thighs?” She teased.
“Everythin’ about you is hot, Delia. This is no fair question.” Misty looked up at her girlfriend with those eyes that could melt glaciers. Cordelia’s cheeks dared to tint pink, and at this very moment her heart reminded her, once again, of how much she loved that woman. Cordelia knew she would do anything for Misty Day.
“Silly,” the Supreme murmured shyly, and before Misty Day had the chance to protest, she collided their lips again. With one hand, Misty cupped the back of her girlfriend’s neck, caressing it. Their tongues were back at dancing the choreography only they knew how to do, matching and fitting perfectly with each other. When Misty’s hips insisted up, Cordelia knew it was time to take the next step. She kissed down to Misty Day’s jaw, falling to her pulse point and stopping to indulge on the plumpness of her pale skin. Misty bent her head back, curls resting freely on the pillows. Cordelia nibbled on the skin, and strong arms pulled her closer by the butt. The Supreme would never get tired of being on top of the woman she loved so deeply.
“Harsher,” Misty breathed out. Cordelia obliged, and her teeth sank on the skin a little more forcefully before her tongue soothed the area down. Misty Day hummed. “Harsher,” she asked again.
“It’ll leave a mark, sweetheart,” Cordelia murmured against the skin.
“‘Don’t mind.” Misty licked her lips, for they had gone dry. Brown eyes searched for ocean ones. Hickeys had been unexplored territory until minutes ago.
“Are you sure, baby?” Cordelia bit her lower lip as well, mirroring her girlfriend. She hadn’t given hickeys much thought until now, but in the position she found herself—naked, on top of a barely clothed Misty Day—she had to admit the concept was quite interesting. Misty Day nodded.
“I want everyone to know I belong to ya’, too. I always did. I always will.” The words were enough to cause Cordelia to salivate. She smiled at her girlfriend before going back at kissing her neck, this time nibbling on her skin a little harsher and without a care. Misty Day even felt small sucks, but didn’t dare minding. Not at all. Ringed fingers caressed Cordelia’s back up and down, and whimpers left Misty Day’s lips. Her hips undulated softly. Cordelia began following south, but gentle hands stopped her. Misty found her chocolate eyes. “Stay close,” she asked in a whisper. Cordelia’s heart skipped a beat, and she moved up to kiss Misty Day’s lips passionately. There was something so special about having Cordelia so close to her when she was being pleasured; Misty was quickly discovering that was one of her favorite positions. It was, after all, the position they did when they first made love. A hand reached up to cup one of Misty’s breasts on top of her bra, massaging it before taking the fat out of the cup. Misty Day hummed against their kiss, which caused Cordelia to smile. She pulled away to brush their lips, eyes glued on Misty and the way her own eyes were hooded with pleasure. Cordelia played with Misty Day’s nipple, massaging it between her pointer and middle finger, feeling it get hard in no time. Their breaths mixed and created the most pleasing symphony of coral and green.
“I love you, Misty Day.” Cordelia couldn’t get tired of saying that. She had spent so much time wishing to just tell Misty those words that now that she could, she just wouldn’t stop doing so. Misty opened her mouth to speak, but Cordelia’s hand had begun playing with her other breast, and so she just let out a quivering sigh and hoped Cordelia would know it meant the exact same words towards her. Cordelia always knew. The nipple was quick to get hard, and before Misty had the chance to ask for more, Cordelia was already obliging. Misty crashed their lips together again while a hand traveled down her body, stopping to play with her green underwear. Misty Day spread her legs, body utterly and completely under Cordelia’s mercy. Her hands were still caressing the Supreme’s back, wanting to remind her of how much she meant to her—as if it were possible for Cordelia to forget. And then, Cordelia cupped her center on top of the cloth, sending wave after wave crashing down on Misty’s body.
“Oh—“ Misty Day gasped, which caused their kiss to be broken. Cordelia smiled, big and silly, watching her girlfriend as she slowly began rubbing her on top of the green material. Blue eyes struggled to stay open, searching for brown ones. Misty’s hips followed Cordelia’s rhythm, and so the Supreme reached to kiss her girlfriend’s neck again. She began with soft kisses, in the same intensity as her hand. She didn’t leave any marks—for now. As her touches got harsher, so got her kisses. Misty Day made a different sound at each roll of her hips. Her underwear felt damp. “De—Delia… inside, please…” She struggled to get the words out. Cordelia felt in her fingertips how soaked the underwear was, so, gladly, she moved in. Her palm was met with the softness of Misty’s pubic hair, and soon the warmth of her bare core. Slowly, she began circling her bare clitoris, kisses growing more heated on Misty Day’s neck, eventually starting to leave marks on the skin. Misty had stopped caressing Cordelia’s back, simply resting her hands there and eventually pulling her closer. Her back arched. The room was filled with wet sounds and all different kinds of whimpers and moans. It was so safe, to do all that with Cordelia. Misty Day felt safe. Loved. Everything she had ever dreamed and hoped for in her life. She could feel the way Cordelia’s teeth teased her skin, followed by sucks and the soothing feeling of her tongue. To know her girlfriend was leaving her mark on her only helped Misty to get to her climax faster. At a particular faster movement of Cordelia’s fingers, a string of close-followed moans left Misty Day’s lips. Her vagina squeezed around nothing at all, and Cordelia moaned lowly right underneath her ear. Everything inside her quivered in the most delicious of ways. Her hips kept on rolling around, sloppily this time. “Mmm…” Misty hummed. Cordelia kept on kissing her girlfriend’s neck, fingertips just resting against the bundle of nerves now. It pulsated against her digits. Outside the window, the Moon was shining brighter. Once Misty Day’s chest had calmed down, Cordelia placed a final kiss on her pulse point and pulled her hand out of the green panties—she stopped to collect all of her girlfriend’s arousal and relief on the way—and then, careful not to hurt Misty, Cordelia straddled her again and reached to suck her fingers clean. Brown eyes fell shut for a second. Cordelia hummed. Misty Day tasted like gardenias mixed with white roses. Ocean eyes watched her. From that angle, Misty could see all of Cordelia’s body. Her ringed fingers caressed her hips, and slowly a smile made its way to her lips. The Supreme let go of her fingers to smile back at her girlfriend.
“You are the most beautiful thing in this whole universe.” Cordelia’s words were like melted butter. Misty Day shook her head, but before she could say anything, Cordelia kissed her again. In a careful move, the Supreme lay down beside her girlfriend. When they broke their kiss, Misty wasted no time in guiding Cordelia’s head to her chest, which she gladly obliged. A soft arm wrapped itself around Misty Day’s waist, and their bodies cuddled close to each other, with their legs intertwined. The skin heat kept them warm. Mindlessly as she always did, Misty caressed Cordelia’s hair, eventually placing a kiss or two on top of it. The world felt so distant. It was only the two of them.
“Cordelia?”
“Yes?”
“You are my whole universe.”

The Only Heaven I’ll Be Sent To, Is When I’m Alone With You

Pairing: Cordelia Goode x Misty Day
Word Count: 1800

I never posted any foxxay/goodeday on here so let me know if y’all want more :)
It wasn't often that Misty liked to look back on her past. She really never had a reason to when she lived at the swamp. Though, with so many people around her now, it made it hard to avoid. Along with the supreme who had confused her greatly. It’s like Cordelia had taken her thoughts, her forced feelings, and replaced them while she wasn't looking.
Misty’s mother had told her that she was a sinner, when she found out about Misty’s sexuality. She sent her to church to pray all of her feelings away. She remembers kneeling down on beside her bed every night, hands clasped together and crying because it wasn't working. Well of course it wasn't working, it wasn't a sin and Misty had nobody to tell her that.
She worked so hard to get where she was now, or so she told herself. Hiding away her true feelings with just an ‘i'm not interested in dating anyone' whenever Madison would question her. It always made her face burn up and her hands begin to sweat because it was only partially true. Misty wasn't interested in dating anyone unless it was Cordelia.
But that was wrong so Misty either had to find a man or live lonely the rest of her life, or so she thought.
____
The girls never really made a huge effort to hang out with Misty, especially Madison. That's why it confused the curly blonde as to why Madison stood at her bedroom door, seven o'clock at night, asking if she wanted to 'hang in her room with her and the girls.'
She had nothing better to do so why decline the offer when they finally wanted to hang out with her, or better yet, Madison was finally being somewhat nice.
Trailing behind the movie star, she had finally made it to Madison's room that was shared with Zoe.
The girls, consisting of Zoe, Queenie, Mallory, And Coco were all sat in a circle on the floor. "Are we doin' a spell or..." the cajun questioned.
Madison chuckled at her, joining the circle by sitting beside Zoe. "No, we're playing truth or dare" Madison stated truthfully. Something was up, Misty could, of course, sensed it. Madison was up to something but she just took a seat next to Queenie; she trusted her that she wouldn't let Madison do anything to seriously harm her.
Although Misty could beat Madison up as she proved in the past, Madison has also killed Misty so she honestly didn't feel completely safe around her.
A few rounds went by and Misty started to loosen up. She hadn’t gotten anything truth or dares that took it too extreme but that's also because Madison wasn't the one to give them to her.
"Swampy, truth or dare" Madison queried. Now the room had fallen under completely silence, it's like they knew what she was going to ask. "Truth..." Misty replied hesitantly.
"Is it true that you like Cordy?" with a smirk plastered on Madison’s face, she knew what she was doing.
"W-what no? That's...that's wrong" Misty's heart began to race and she hoped that someone would speak up and end this once and for all but they were all too afraid of Madison. "Oh please" Madison scoffed "none of us care that you're dating the supreme."
"No, it's wrong because she's a woman."
"Swampy's homophobic? That's new" Tears we're brewing in Misty's eyes, just waiting to spill. "No no i'm not-" the cajun was cut short, but thank god because she would've just made a fool of herself. "-Is it's so wrong Misty?" Madison questioned, before she could even shake her head, Madison grabbed Zoe's face and deeply kissed her.
Since when we're they dating, Misty thought.
"I- I-" Misty couldn't even produce a full sentence better yet, all she could do was sit there like a statue.
"Don't take it out on everyone else because you can't admit to yourself that you are in love with Cordelia" Madison was now raising her voice and it made them all cringe because they knew that the supreme would be bursting in the room at any moment.
"I do not!" Misty had finally gained enough confidence to stand up for herself. "Cordelia and I are both girls! It is wrong and I'm not in-" she stopped herself, she couldn't bring herself to say that she wasn't in love with Cordelia because that was the biggest lie of all.
Luckily, Cordelia had walked into the room to save the cajun from this torturous experience.
"What is going on in here?" Cordelia asked frantically, fearing that Misty would -yet again- beat the living hell of out Madison but this time, to a point where she actually had to step in and put an end to it.
"Why don't you ask your homophobic girlfriend" Madison said angrily, walking out of the room with her arms crossed to her chest and not failing to bump into the supreme on her way out.
The girls were quick to follow Madison, not being on her side completely but also not wanting to be stuck in this awkward situation.
And then there was Misty, by now, sitting back down on the floor, knees up to her chest just sobbing away all her feelings.
"Oh Misty, what's wrong?" Cordelia crossed the room and kneeled down to the curly blonde’s level. A gentle hand was placed on Misty back. "I can’t tell you. You'll hate me" Misty, aggressively, wiped her eyes. They were red, tired -tired of fighting this internal battle with herself.
"Misty, you know I couldn't possible hate you" that much was true. Cordelia was so whipped for the swamp witch that Misty could turn this whole coven to shreds and still, she would find her heart pounding out of her chest for the cajun.
"I really think ya would an' Madison is just making me so confused. I'on know what to feel." Misty admitted, her gaze deep into Cordelia's eyes as to find something, anything, that would tell her that it's okay, that Cordelia loves her for who she really is.
"Well how do you feel?"
Now that question had really toggled Misty's brain. No, not how your mother or father or the church people feel, how you feel.
"I don't really know" the swamp witch looked down at her hands, ashamed. "I feel all giddy when i'm around ya and I feel how I should feel around men when i'm around ya. My stomach always feels like there's butterflies in there whenever ya smile and I just always want to be with ya every second of the day." There it was. Misty had just put it out that she was in love with Cordelia.
"Misty" Cordelia grabbed Misty's hands, holding them in hers tightly as to say It's okay, i'm here and I love you. "What I think you're describing is that you've developed feelings for me, romantically."
Heat rose to Misty's pale cheeks at the realization that Cordelia is now aware of her intense feelings. And now Cordelia is going to hate her. She is going to be kicked out, she knew it. And as much as she knew Cordelia is too kind and would never do such a thing, the thoughts of her mother words -who is supposed to love her unconditionally- is still in the back of her head reminding her that no matter how much someone loves you or how sweet they really are, they can turn in an instant.
"I'm sorry" was all the cajun spat. It just came out. It was the first thing that came out of Misty's mouth when her mother found out.
"No" Cordelia said, almost sounding upset that she was apologizing for her feelings, that she made Misty feel -in those brief seconds- that it was wrong. "Don't apologize for your feelings, Misty. It's completely normal."
Everyone in this academy was so accepting, hell, even Madison was. So why couldn't Misty just be accepting of herself? Why did it still feel so wrong even after all these girls had outnumbered her mother?
"But it's wrong. Mama told me that god isn't gonna forgive me, that i'm a sinner." Misty didn't dare speak above a whisper, afraid to admit to the world that she was in fact, a sinner.
"That same 'Mama' who had also allowed you to get burned at the stake for being a witch. And look at you now, Misty; you're confident and strong with your powers." Cordelia paused, hooking a finger under Misty’s chin and gently pushing her face up so they were eye to eye. "Don't ever let someone tell you that you're wrong for your feelings, i've let too many people in my life do that. You, Misty Day, are not a sinner for how you feel, if anything, you're an angel. You're my angel."
Misty swallowed the lump in her throat, tears, once again, threatening to spill, or maybe some already have.
"I love you Misty, so much, since the day you stepped foot in the academy, I couldn't see you but god, somehow you still managed to take my breath away." The supreme reached up to Misty's cheek, cupping it and wiping away the falling fears that she just couldn't hold back. "I- I love you, Delia" and she had finally said it. It wasn't just a thought floating around in her head anymore, it was now out to the universe that she goddamn loved Cordelia Goode.
Her thumb brushed over Misty's rosy pink lips. The ones she daydreams about kissing. "Can I kiss you?" the older witch asked with her own lips between her teeth moments after. "Please" Misty only said it as a breath. Cordelia quite literally, took Misty's breath away.
Slowly, Cordelia began to move her own face closer to Misty's. The swamp witch felt her heart rate speed up and suddenly, nothing else in the world matter right now. It was Just Cordelia and Misty on their own planet, their own world.
Then she felt Cordelia's lips delicately touch hers. Soft, sweet, gentle, is words that she could use to describe it. If it was so wrong, why did it feel so right?
At first she tensed up, not knowing what entirely to do. But only seconds later, she depended it. It was as if Cordelia’s lips held all the answers.
She pushed Cordelia back and straddled her, not once breaking the kiss. She just wanted Cordelia, she couldn't get enough of her. The feeling of the supremes lips blending into her own and Cordelia's tongue sliding into her mouth for more made her feel like an idiot for believing all those horrible things she had been called for wanting exactly this.
"I love you, I love you, I love you" Misty murmured against Cordelia's mouth before going back to the kiss.

Chapters: 1/? Fandom: American Horror Story: Coven, American Horror Story: Apocalypse Rating: Explicit Warnings: Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings Relationships: Misty Day/Cordelia Foxx | Cordelia Goode Characters: Cordelia Foxx | Cordelia Goode, Misty Day, Mallory (American Horror Story), Madison Montgomery, Marie Laveau, Coco St. Pierre Vanderbilt Additional Tags: Angst, Angst with a Happy Ending, Slow Burn, that is if I did my job it should be a slow burn, Cordelia’s self loathing is at astronomical levels in this, you might want to wring her neck I do and I wrote her this way, I would have tagged major character death, except that spoiler alert it’s super temporary, ridiculously temporary actually, sort of a soulmate thing develops..you’ll see, I made up some weird lore for this but it works, I retraumatized myself by studying the Bible for this, also yes there is a plot and it’s there, but I don’t care as much about that, so if you came here purely for the antichrist’s ass being kicked, it is in there but it’s not at all the main event, also the main sex scene is already written and it’s over 6k Summary:
It’s 2024, 9 years since Mallory joined the Coven and Misty was returned to them.
Last year during Yule, Misty confessed her love for Cordelia and was rejected.
Devan has his dark baptism and suddenly Misty, Madison and Marie Lavaeu remember everything that happened to them in the alternate timeline.
Turns out that night at Hawthorne Academy, Misty and Cordelia were together
Mallory leads the charge against the new antichrist, with only Misty, Madison and Marie to help her. Except they can’t find him. Cordelia has no idea what’s going on, but she’s elated that Misty is talking to her again, though she doesn’t believe she deserves it.
But Misty now knows Cordelia loves her and she also knows Mallory will rise as Supreme and she’ll lose her. Can’t have that!
