Commission art for @lamardeuse illustrating her story Bases Loaded:
The next time, Eddie undoes the top button of Buck’s shirt. Then another. And another.
And then Eddie bends his head and puts his mouth on him, presses his tongue to the dip of Buck’s collarbone.
Buck bites his lip and tries not to whimper.

Perfectly said.
2x01 is so funny because it’s just like…Buck having an instant bi crisis and spending the next twenty minutes as the brattiest sub alive trying to push every button he can before turning into a blushing smiling mess when Eddie stumbles onto his praise kink…absolutely iconic choice

No such thing as too beefy gimme that double Buck patty that boy is a whole meal fuck a snack
Do I think Buck might be a little too beefy for Eddie's shirts? Probably. Do I think he steals and wears them anyway? Absolutely.

Can we just take a moment to talk about the look on Buck’s face as Christopher walks up to give Eddie his helmet in 2x18…

Preferably by one Eddie Diaz... 🥵
Okay, not to throw feelings on what was a vaguely erotic post but, like, yeah Eddie should be the one to rail Buck into oblivion because their emotional intimacy would translate to sexual intimacy so well. They’re already so in tune with each other, already so open and honest and communicative with each other; their sex would be amazing because most of their pleasure would be derived from pleasuring each other. Add that to the way they know -- and have a deep, intrinsic desire to continue to learn about each other -- and that sex would be mind-blowing because neither of them has ever had that.
Even when Eddie and Shannon were in love, I don’t get the impression their sex was very explorative or trusting. I say that because Eddie came into the relationship terribly young with an array of different ideas about sex, masculinity, etc. If he wanted to try something that would call into question his “masculinity” or how he perceived his masculinity at the time, their sexual intimacy would always have some sort of cap or limit to it. And while it should be the role of the spouse to make sure, and want, their partner to be and feel safe enough to explore any desires (within their own personal limits too, of course), I don’t think Eddie and Shannon had that kind of marriage. Especially because neither Eddie nor Shannon seemed to be one-hundred-percent understanding, or willing to understand each other even in non-sexual situations. Eddie and Shannon trusted each other with their bodies as much as two people in a consenting sexual relationship can/do, but I strongly doubt they actually trusted each other as true sexual partners.
Meanwhile Buck has had a lot of sex with a lot people, but never with someone he truly loved. Before everyone climbs down my throat and reminds me of Abby, he did love her, yes, but Abby essentially taught Buck how to love. And anyone who knows anything about love or has had multiple loves knows that the love you feel for someone when you’re learning how to love is quite different from the love you feel for someone when you’ve fully come into yourself as an autonomous being capable of love. Simply speaking: the marked difference between first loves and forever loves is the emotional maturity one develops along the way. So even if Abby and Buck were true sexual partners in every sense of the word, Buck has still never been with someone he loved as a person who is now fully, totally aware of what it means to love another human being.
So when you pair these two boys together, their already intense emotional compatibility is going to do so much for their sexual compatibility, and their sexual relationship is going to be nourishing, satisfying, and healing for both of them. For Eddie, he will have a partner that he feels one-hundred-percent safe and comfortable exploring things and learning things with. There will be no “cap” on his desires and how much he is allowed to touch and take and taste for himself because 1) He’s grown as a person and his ideals on what it means to be a man, a partner, etc. have grown and changed, and 2) he’ll have a partner whose primary focus in bed will be his pleasure and safety, no matter what that looks like. And for Buck, he will have the emotional gratification of being with someone he loves, someone who wants him back, and someone who won’t leave. Someone who values and cherishes his body and his desires, who makes it their goal to see him sexually satisfied and fulfilled, whose love and affection he never needs to work to own.
The reality is that both Buck and Eddie need and deserve the sexual healing they would find in each other, but if I think about this too long, I will get really emotional about it so I’m just going to end this now.
tagging @yramesoruniverse because I know I’ve seen you talk about Buck, Eddie, and healing via sex so you might be interested in this.

When I tell people to delete anon hate, to not publish it, it’s not me saying “ignore it and it’ll stop; don’t fight back.” It is 100% petty and spiteful. Honestly, I can’t think of anything better than the person who sent the hate obsessively checking your blog and refreshing and refreshing, waiting for you to reply, and getting increasingly frustrated when the ask they so masterfully crafted never pops up & you just keep posting cute pictures of your pets and talking about how nice your day was.

Did I Miss Something?
Out of all of the discourse I've seen about Eddie and Ana... Is no one going to mention the fact that he asked her out during an episode titled Jinx, in which everything that can possibly goes wrong does?
I mean... If that's not the definition of foreshadowing, I don't know what is.

Okay, but let's talk about Buck not just trading his Jeep in for a more family/kid friendly car, but specifically a Christopher friendly car. Buck shows up at Eddie's place for a day trip out with the Diaz boys and of course it comes up when they walk out and see it for the first time. Buck unlocks it and tells Christopher to climb in and check it out. While Christopher is looking around, Buck is rambling about all the features to Eddie: more leg room in the back, lower to the ground, screens on the headrests, retractable sun shades on the back seats... It takes a minute, but eventually it clicks in Eddie's mind: Every single feature that Buck has listed is for Christopher. He would never need any of that stuff for himself. The best part? Buck doesn't even realize that was what he was doing. Taking care of Christopher is just so ingrained in him, he can't help it and it just makes Eddie fall more in love with him.
So, I read this article about how Jeeps have, like, notoriously awful safety ratings and how they’re especially bad for tall people because the angle of the rearview mirror makes it impossible for them to see anything. And it also mentioned how they have limited space in the back, and how the fact that they’re so high makes them difficult to get in and out of, and idk why I was reading this article about Jeeps apparently sucking? But I was, and I started thinking about Buck maybe deciding to trade his Jeep for something a little safer, a little more family/kid friendly. And then I remembered that Maddie giving Buck the Jeep was symbolic of her giving him freedom, and I thought gosh. Him trading in his Jeep would be like him saying he doesn’t need that freedom anymore, because he found where he belongs.
And then I realized I was getting emotional over an article about why you shouldn’t buy a Jeep as a daily driver.
