He shivered a little, nodding slightly and walking over to him. "I d-do, please..." He gulped, picking at the metal on his hands.

"Kelsey, stay by me," Beemo said sternly as he put an arm in front of her, "The Spine looks like he's malfunctioning. Don't touch him." The android had fear in his eyes. His 'boyfriend' was glitching out

The Spine had his back to the two of them, ducking his head and rubbing his arm, twitching slightly.

“I can /hear/ you…” His voice was low, and he turned to look at them with bright red eyes. “And I’m /fine./”

He frowned, eyes flickering a bit. "I-I-I don't know..." He actually sounded scared.

He sighed steam, walking toward them slowly, and rubbing his neck. "L-look, I'm alright... I-I-I'm not going to hurt you..." He twitched with each stutter, biting his lip. "Just hit my-my-my head a little..."

He grinned, kissing his hand and pulling Beemo closer, wanting him to sit in his lap. "Well, you succeeded, darling..."

There was a note on the table that read: "Come to the ballroom on the lowest floor of the tower. I have a surprise for you. Don't tell Kelsey, she already knows.~B"

The Spine read the note over, furrowing his brow in slight confused and cracking a little smile. Well, okay. He wasn’t exactly one for surprises, but he figured just one time wouldn’t hurt. And it was Beemo, what could go wrong?

So, he headed down to the ballroom, puffing small streams of steam as he walked.
