Anyway, along with an updated image for base Arakna, lemme introduce Digitalis Arakna (hair can grab you like hand), and a redesigned Venus Arakna (hair mouth is still there, but less noticeable.)

I didn’t like the Venus design (made big spider lady look like an ant, which was not what I was after), so she got a redesign. Looks like… peacock spider. Some lore details under cut.

I don’t think I ever mentioned (at least outright) that Aelia can still use ventus proficiently, even after the long period of not using any ventus bakugan (after Cylass died.)

The only problem is she goes straight for the throat the moment she uses ventus, even during the harmless-card-game phase of bakugan being on Earth. Like, it just switches on like a light.

There’s a big bow on the back of her coat-tailed jacket (of the jacket’s) colour, but I think her human versus gundalian appearance was a bit more important (she never appears as human when she’s 5 though, so the human appearance is more to keep her in line with her other references.)

Considering that she does summon her gauntlet from NV (within the interspace) like another gundalian would a battle gear, and keeps a ventus version of Mylene's whip (ventus both for colour and the ability to either be silent or make white noise)... I can see it!

Although, Aelia tends to take off her jacket for the purposes of physically fighting (sometimes her skirt too for the sake of distraction; it's fine, she has shorts underneath.)

So I thought I would share some headcannons about Neathians just because I have some and it’s fun to share them

1. Neathians have very high natural body temperatures, their average body temperature is about 101.7 F and they can survive fevers up to 120.5 F Neathia is a very warm and humid so having high body temperatures is kinda annoying for them because they’re so hot, though Neathia also tends to get extreme winters because of its mountain regions so it does help with that.

2. So because of their super high body temperatures Neathians burn a lot of calories by just sitting around so their food is very very heavy, typically very sweet and sugary as well. Lots of pastries and fruit, and while they are omnivores Neathians don’t eat meat a lot other than like in the army or doing hard labor

3. Neathians have the ability to transmit their thoughts by touching, since their language is kinda confusing it’s a very useful ability to transmit images and such to each other.

Don't worry! I like hearing about headcanons. As for my own headcanons on the same thing...

I headcanon neathians to be colder than humans, but able to withstand much larger temperature ranges than humans. Also, Neathia, being tropical in general, does make sense to be hot. If anything, neathians probably have amazing heat control, because nights can probably get super cold (kind of like a cloudless night sky? Since clouds trap heat)

I've never thought about food options for neathians, but a more plant oriented diet than meat oriented makes sense; we don't really see any fauna on Neathia other than the neathians and the bakugan. I'd guess that insects and fish are a primary meat source, since it's tropical. Given their strength, a more meaty diet makes sense, though, for the sake of protein/muscle repair. So... Probably a fish based diet.

Thank you for this headcanon that I now share with you. It fits well with the headcanon that mindcontrol is a neathia-gundalian gene from the two alien races having a hybrid child. The images from touch and canonical gundalian ability to do distance vocal telepathy could easily evolve into mind control. It also had me wheezing for 3 minutes straight because discord got involved on the headcanon and;
