you should not stop thinking about the children in gaza. you should not stop thinking about people with serious medical conditions living in gaza. you should not forget about the young people shouldering heavy responsiblities in gaza.
my friend mohammed is just nineteen years old and is taking care of his whole family. he has a six year old brother. his brother should be in school. he should be enjoying his childhood. however, for him and countless other children in gaza, a school is not a place where one goes to learn but a place where one goes to seek protection from bombs.
some of mohammed's loved ones suffer from various medical conditions. his brother is blind and had a coronary artery surgery. he looks after them with great love and care. he is doing his best to make sure that his family is safe. however, everything has become more expensive as no aid has entered gaza since may. food and warm clothes are very expensive and mohammed cannot shoulder the costs all by himself.
please consider helping my friend by donating or sharing his fundraiser. there has only been one single donation in the last 24 hours. we've raised €15,657 out of €50K.

Don't skip just read this please
Hi world , it’s Sahar
Please read this as if I'm a member of your family . maybe your sister, daughter or a friend and as if my family who's under death now is yours.
My name is Sahar. A marketer shopping from Gaza, athe dreams she worked for but found herself losing the city she’s living in and losing any hope of a better future with it . And after a whole 4 years of studying and internship, the war had another idea.
I have 4 children: Hala the oldest, Rital, Odi, and Talin. We had a house full of love, dreams, and hopes that we strive to achieve one by one, but the war came and destroyed everything. We strive to travel outside Gaza to preserve our lives and obtain safety.
. In 15th of January 2024 my son Odai has An injury in his leg byShooting from a quadcopter aircraft in a shelter belonging to the UN Relief Agency
This loss circle didn’t end here, cause after more than 5 times of being displaced and having to leave our house escaping from rockets and death, we returned to our house and found it almost wiped off, more than half if it was destroyed and became an unlivable place leaving us not only with tired hearts but also without a place to stay in
Our Home
We are suffering in the UNRWA shelter center from overcrowding, the spread of diseases, pollution, and the difficulty of obtaining water and entering the bathroom due to the large number present in the place. It has been a year since this suffering.
Look what this horrible war has done to us. It has turned our lives upside down. It is hard for your mind to imagine. You were living in a villa with all your necessities and luxury items available until the war transferred you to live in a school for more than 13 months. We saw death 100 times a minute. I have attached pictures of the suffering of living in the school.
The situation after almost 13 months of this genocide is that the borders of Gaza are still unfortunately closed and no one can get out of it, of course unless you pay the most money to save your life and cross the Rafah crossing to reach Egypt, as crossing the Rafah crossing costs about $25,00 to $5,000 per person, and as a family of 9, the amount we have to pay just to get to Egypt seems impossible to bear.
So, this is how the money will be spent:
* Paying about $5,000 for each member of my family of 9 to cross the Rafah crossing and safely reach Egypt
* About $5,000 covers the GoFundMe transaction fees (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction)
* The rest of the money will be for housing, food, etc. for a period of time in Egypt
Asking for your help is the only way to save my family’s life and future, and your help may become our hope when hope is far from us under these circumstances, every dollar you can help with may save a life, bring hope to a tired heart and save a young future.
Please don't read this as a tragedy, I am here to ask you to prevent further tragedy and help us start our lives over. I am here to ask for your help not your sympathy, to ask you to take action either by donating or by sharing this with everyone you know who can help, please read this with your heart and take action as if it were your family, your mother and your siblings who are living in these circumstances.
Here is the donation link. Don't be stingy with me, even if it is a little. You will have contributed to preserving the lives of my family. With best wishes.

nour @norfamaily35 (also at @norfamaily89, @norfamaily2023, @norfamailynor89, @nournourfamaily1989) has been shadowbanned on tumblr, and is now unable to message any of her friends and supporters on tumblr. obviously this is devastating, especially now when famine is hitting all of gaza hard. she told me that she's only able to get her family one loaf of bread per day - that's to share with five young children. their situation is unimaginably desperate, and tumblr's suppression of her campaign has made it even worse.
while we try to get her account back in working order, please help her out, donate to her campaign if possible and make sure it stays in circulation.

Just saw a 'vent community' in tumblr's suggested tab and I cannot stress how much that is an absolutely terrible idea having a space dedicated to that full of strangers
#there's obviously also the discussion in regards to people who may have an unhealthy dependency to vent spaces#and by how using them it just kind of makes things worse#but those are individual cases i feel are best not approached with a broad brush so i'm not really speaking on them#i've known a few people like that directly and it would just feel kind of back-handed imo#in the end the best solution was to strip them of access to the space which genuinely helped#having a space is fine but don't let it make you fixate on the negative#<- op's tags#rb#txt#important stuff

Ibrahim @wolf-aid needs your help!
PROOF OF VETTING (#25 ON THE VETTED CAMPAIGN LIST) BY @gazavetters, A GROUP OF TRUSTED CAMPAIGN VETTERS !
Ibrahim, who recently turned 16, and his family are currently scared and hungry in Gaza as Israel's genocide continues. He's been super proactive in grabbing attention so that I can boost his campaign. Instead of learning and having fun with his life and friends, Ibrahim lives in constant fear of death and further loss. He has lost too many family members, including, most recently, his uncle. He and his family, like many others in the region, are sick, starving, depressed, and extremely anxious. You can read a little more about his situation here. Ibrahim, if you're reading this, we love you!! 💙
€19,947 raised of €30,000 goal
Every amount sent his way counts. Please donate as little as 1 euro towards his campaign! If you cannot donate directly to this campaign, please send an amount below and I will donate for you!
As I am also using this account to donate for Marah's campaign, please add a note saying that you're donating to Ibrahim's campaign! Thank you :)

the pinned post on hilda's blog (@hildanasr1) has 10,029 notes and counting, but hilda's vetted gofundme has stagnated at €3,870/€50K, only 8% of her intended goal. hilda is an expectant mother living in a tent with her family during an active genocide, and she needs financial support. if you use a different kind of currency, gofundme has a resource for that.
from her gofundme page, which further explains her situation and includes pictures:
My family now lives with me in a small tent, hiding from the harsh conditions. My parents, my husband, my brother Ahmed (21 years old), my sister Linda (26 years old) and her husband, along with her small children: Reema (3 years old) and Saleh (one and a half years), and my sister Talin (14 years old) who is in the tenth grade, all stay together in a cramped space where privacy and comfort are nonexistent.
you have the decision to help her. what will you choose?

one thing i didn't know about nader, who runs the account @abdalsalam1990 to promote the corresponding gofundme for his older brother abd al salam, is that his father currently has cancer. can you imagine being 17 years old, under siege with a one year-old niece suffering from malnutrition, and trying not to get murdered by israel like your cousin and uncle were, knowing that your father's cancer can't be treated because of how costly it is? i'm 29 and i know i can't imagine that. but for nader, this is real. this is his life.
he's doing his best to ask around for help. but he needs all the help he can get. as everyone should know by now, the costs of basic necessities in gaza have been inflated to an extreme degree. people like to imagine that in a crisis situation, supply and demand would no longer apply, capitalists would give resources away, and people would be cared for. that's simply not the reality. many people in gaza live in tents, but those who don't still pay exorbitant rents for bombed-out apartments. the cost of any food at all, even if it's rotten, is exorbitant. and cancer treatment is expensive. nader and his family have to deal with all of this while trying to save up what they can in hopes that the rafah crossing will re-open and they'll be able to evacuate.
all that said: how can you help nader? if you have a little money, you can donate. if you have a blog, you can spread this post and others about him. and if you have the time, you can go to nader's blog and talk to him directly and ask how you can help. he'll answer, and his english is pretty good.

AITA for telling my little sister to quit her dream job?
(canon compliant fiction)
I (31,F) am a world renowned actress who became especially known for my talent on playing villains on the various movies and tv shows I've starred in. Because of that, I have not only won multiple oscars, but I also have huge fanbase who praises me for my work (rightfully so). In the early years of my career, I decided it would be a good idea to enter a reality show to further my fame, and even though I didn't win, I got the recognition I deserved. So, when I was called in for another season of said show, I thought I'd be a good idea to join it again, but this time, I had full intentions of winning the prize. I played the game and I played it well and even though I made some decisions I've come to regret, I got what I wanted. During all of this, my family had been accompanying my journey and supporting me all the way through, including my little sister, E (Minor, F), who was so inspired my my actions that she decided, once she turned 18, she would pursue a career in acting, too. After the end of the second season, E kept in touch with me, updating me on how our family was doing and how her dream was coming along.
I have always been on the fence about her wanting to be an actress, so in one of our calls, I decided to open up to her. I told her that this line of work isn't for everyone, that sometimes our morals have to be pushed aside so we can keep going and that If she kept up her path, I was afraid she would become just like me. E seemed confused and upset ans told me she would think about what I said, but she hasn't called back since. After I won the second season, I lost all of the friends I had made due to the way I had acted while in the game. I hurt people, mentally and physically, and I don't want this to happen to E. So, should I have supported her regardless, or was I right in warning her?
