A couple years ago I was scrolling through #YouTube like always and I came across a video from the #WendyWilliamsShow. I started watching and I kept watching ever since. It was my happy place. @wendyshow became a role model to me because of her strength to be the best woman she could be. No one ever stopped her and she fears no one. She’s a self made business woman with strong opinions. That is who I want to be when I grow up. You shouldn’t be scared to look up to someone. When I found out my husband and I had to go to NYC for my #GreenCard my only goal was to go see Miss @wendyshow. Unfortunately Miss Wendy wasn’t feeling good and she needed to take a few weeks off to recharge the batteries. The day this picture was taken was the day she came back on live tv. I was so lucky to be able to get tickets and that I was still in NYC. The next day I was flying back to Belgium. When the double doors open and she walked in my heart sunk. She was there, alive and in good health. I can’t explain the rush of emotion! During the show Miss Wendy filmed a couple of intros and for one of them she asked me where I was from. I couldn’t believe it but I’ll cherish that memory forever. When you meet someone with such an aura you understand your place and you strive to grow.
