How did Bobby and Ethel's relationship differ from Jack and Jackie's? I've read somewhere that Ethel pushy and kind of insensitive but I personally don't think so - what do you think? And do you think she brought him out emotionally? If so, how?
I wouldn’t say Ethel was insensitive but she was definitely a bit more tough and rough around the edges compared to Jackie. She grew up in a family much like the Kennedys, so I would say she was a lot more like a Kennedy sister. Jackie was brought up with one younger sister in a very different environment, which probably makes her a more sensitive and emotional person. In terms of Ethel and Bobby, I think her outgoing personality gave Bobby more confidence to be more outgoing. She always supported him in campaigns and encouraged him.

How and why was David so deeply affected by his father's death? I've read that his drug issues started almost right after And how did Ethel handle his death?
I know that David and Bobby were pretty close during his life. David reminded Bobby a lot of himself and he kind of took him under his wing. From what I read, Ethel did not handle his death very well, she was distraught and not herself for a long time.

Hi I first wanted to say that I love your blog! :) it's beautiful. Now my question. I recently started to read a little bit more about David Kennedy. Are there any good books from or about him? If yes which would you recommend?
thank you sm!!! and I haven’t found that many great books on him, but I would recommendd After Camelot by J. Randy Taraborrelli , it’s great for info on David post-Bobby assassination

Hey do you know how bobby proposed to Ethel? And was he aware of Ethel's last pregnancy when he died? Also what's the cutes thing you know about the couple? Thank you
i’m actually not sure how he proposed, if anyone knows and could let us know that would awesome . and from what I read he was aware of the pregnancy because she was pretty far along in terms of knowing (although not really showing that much), it seemed like most of the family knew too so i’m sure he did. and the cutest thing, ahh that’s hard well I love taylor swift’s song, starlight, it’s not totally accurate but inspired by bobby and ethel. and I love hickory hill and what an amazing environment they created together there together! I am going to go back through my excerpts and find a specific story though & i’ll make a post for it!
