I share my bed with the best man of them all.
My son 馃槀.
Needing to get the little guy back into his own bed soon as he's not far from crawling now but I'm going to miss waking up and rolling over to see him next to me 馃ズ.

We're beginning to be able to just now add things back into daily life, small amounts of time for hobbies, housework and such. It's exhausting but we push forwards knowing each day it is worth it. My son is healthy and for that I am so lucky.

Harsh reality post.
If I wish I had known one thing before my son was born it would be don't take for granted your time on the ward. When you leave you might just miss it. People sometimes have a habit of completely overlooking you for your newborn, you'll miss the individuality it grants you.
