Happy Pride! There's no better way to celebrate than donating to a local queer non-profit! No amount is too small. If all 1,825 of my friends were to donate just $5 we'd raise almost $10,000! WHOA! We are also very excited to announce that we have secured donors willing to match up to $2500 in donations made through the end of July. Join us in raising money for costumes, sets, artist pay, and advertising. Head over to the Facebook fundraiser page here (https://www.facebook.com/donate/30070451511680/) to make your donation. Facebook pays all the processing fees for you, so 100% of your donation goes directly to the nonprofit. If Facebook isn't the way you'd prefer to donate, we have other spaces too! Send us your $5 on Cashapp ($theqcollectivestl), Venmo (@TheatreQSTL), Paypal (paypal.me/theqcollective), or Square (https://theqcollectivestl.square.site/product/donate/9?cs=true). https://www.instagram.com/p/CPtUZ6gjo19/?utm_medium=tumblr

Introducing the faces of Transluminate! TRANSCODICIL by Peter Dakutis (bottom middle) directed by Sean Michael (bottom right) Joe (Julian Rodriguez - top left), a transgender man, and Shawna (Naé Lowery - top middle), a transgender woman, are married, and Joe is carrying their child. Joe’s Aunt Tammy has recently died, and Joe was expected to be her sole heir. Tammy’s executor, Virginia (Kasey Kopp - top right), tells Joe and Shawna about a codicil Tammy added to her will, which may prevent Joe from inheriting the estate. It turns out that Joe’s transphobic mother, Loretta (Helen Pancella - bottom left), and her church pressured Tammy into creating the codicil. Thanks to Shawna’s shrewd thinking, the codicil goes through its own transition, and Joe and Shawna stand up to the bullying We continue our run tonight!
