𝗠𝗲𝗻, 𝗮𝗯𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀…⁣
Deep down, every man wants to look good naked. We want to feel amazing in our body.⁣
Before you fantasize even further, let’s be real for a moment and see how are we doing with the basics.⁣
While dreaming about the outcome it’s easy and free, getting there is not.⁣⁣
I struggled getting abs, until I learned what it actually takes for an average skinny-fat l dude to get and maintain abdominal definition year round.⁣⁣
I was wearing baggy clothes to hide my body, even after a few years of working out. My nutrition was off ⁣⁣
The reality is, most men who dram about getting abs in a few months, and avoid gaining the fat back plus more after… are not ready to face the harsh reality.⁣
You see ads on the internet from coaches claiming that will get you “fight club”shredded in 12/16 weeks… Sign me up for that!⁣⁣
What they “forget” to tell you is what it actually takes to get shredded and stay there.⁣
They all put before and after pics on a landing page, but would they put before and after after getting the first result in? ⁣
Everyone is great at helping you lose weight, but a few know about reverse dieting properly, overcoming metabolic adaptations, and they forget they work with humans… not robots.⁣
So here’s the reality.⁣
1️⃣ The leaner you get the harder it is to stay there long-term… especially if you don’t have the experience. Hormones are out of whack, craving hit you more often than not. There’s a point where you look competition ready but feel miserable.⁣
2️⃣ Start tracking your macros and calories DAILY! Not in cups/tbsp/tsp/1piece/1slice etc. GRAMS/OZ/ML ONLY, using a food scale an a tracking app like MyFitnessPal.⁣⁣
Most men, fail at step one, or some even get emotional and they quit all together, playing the victim game thereafter - “It’s genetics!”, “It runs in the family!” “I don’t have time!”. Bullshit of that nature.⁣
This skill gives you the awareness you need to make progress long-term.⁣
3️⃣ You have to create and stay CONSISTENTLY IN A CALORIC DEFICIT! If your weight is not moving down. you’re not in a deficit. Period. A lot of guys get caught up in all sorts of BS arguments missing the point… caloric deficit! Not “cutting out carbs”, not “cutting out alcohol” or any other of that NONSENSE. If you don’t understand how to properly manage energy balance, you’re guessing!⁣
4️⃣ The longer you stay in a deficit and the leaner you get, the more frequent adjustments you might have to make, until you start seeing the shreds coming along. Most men have 0 idea of what that looks like.⁣⁣
5️⃣ Resistance training is a life-long commitment, f you want to keep the weight off and look ripped. Are you really willing to do that? Or it’s a one time photoshoot thing?⁣
6️⃣ Eating at restaurants what you used to, will also have to change once and for all. That’s the place where you can easily overeat calories, for yourself, and perhaps for some of your family members in one sitting 🤦‍♂️.⁣
7️⃣Ultimately, are you willing to completely let go of the person that got you overeight in the first place? And I mean forever! That means current eating habits, bs excuses, limiting beliefs around going to gym, limiting beliefs about your genetics, letting go of some lazy people in your circle? ⁣
Most men, stumble at step 1 or 2. I hope if you’re reading this, that’s not going to be you. ⁣
The life goes by fast, you can live it in pitty, and all sorts of excuses, or you can take full. ownership, and do whatever it takes.⁣
If that’s you, and you’re ready to break the pattern for good, we have a masterclass coming up in February where I’ll show you how to create a deficit, get the abs, reverse diet propely, and keep the abs.⁣
Comment masterclass below, and I’ll send you the registration link!
