“…On Thursday, the hackers made their actions known by flooding the course’s primary chatroom with emojis they uploaded while Tate was streaming an episode of his show “Emergency Meeting” on Rumble. The emojis included a transgender flag, a feminist fist, an AI-generated image of Tate draped in a rainbow flag, another where his buttocks are enlarged, and the cat character used in the “boykisser” meme.“

ID: 1a. Close up of Nandor's hands twisting together on his lap. He asks hesitantly, 'So...you remember now what happened at the Panera Bread?' 1b. Knees up of them both sitting on the cot, Nandor in the foreground. Guillermo blinks at his knees and admits, 'Not really, no. Colin sent me the security video. Nandor turns his head away, toward the viewer, with a pained grin, the air darkening around his head as a single embarrassed tear leaks from one eye. He thinks to himself, 'Video proof...how embarrassing...' 1c. Close up of Guillermo's hand tightening its grip on his knee, bunching up the fabric of his corduroys. He says, 'I did hurt you.' Offscreen, Nandor replies flippantly, 'I am fine, Guillermo. We have fought before, you know.' 1d. Close up on Guillermo looking stressed and haunted, eyes on the ground as he grimaces and replies 'Not like that, when I...wasn't in control. When I could have really...killed you.' Behind him, a collage of flashbacks of his feral vampire self appear in red, splattered like blood. 1e. Repeat, smaller, the background disappearing in favor of a light pink glow as Nandor's left hand pops into frame to boop Guillermo on the nose. Guillermo startles out of his self pity, eyes crossed. 1f. Zoom out to knees up of them both on the cot. Nandor is leaning close, chest pressed against Guillermo's shoulder, grinning teasingly with his booping finger held aloft. 'My little control freak,' he states fondly with a pink heart. Guillermo leans away and tucks his arms to his chest, embarrassed and flustered by the contact. He replies, 'Wh- it's not that! Shut up!' Nandor chirps, 'See, very charming this time!'
2a. Chest up of Nandor from Guillermo's POV, smiling fondly as he sits back and pulls his hand down. He says, 'It is in the past, Guillermo. You would not kill me now, yes?' 2b. Chest up side by side on the cot. Guillermo leans forward intently and cries, 'Of course not!' Nandor drops his eyes shyly, left hand twirling a lock of hair, and asks, '...Even if I am being very selfish and mean?' 2c. Chest up of Guillermo from Nandor's POV, straightening his back with confidence and a steady gaze as he replies without hesitation, 'Never.' 2d. Chest up side by side on the cot. Nandor closes his eyes decisively with a smile, flipping his hand out palm up in a dismissive gesture as he says, 'Then we will forget it.' Guillermo smiles up at him with affection, relief relaxing his shoulders. 2e. Repeat, larger. Guillermo hunches his shoulders shyly and ducks his head, looking back toward an empty corner of the cage with a nervous smile as he asks, 'But not...all of it, right?' Nandor's eyes fly open in shock, mouth snapping shut and hand freezing mid-air, a purple flush crawling up his cheeks as he stares down at Guillermo. Behind him, a blue-tinted memory of their kiss floats back up. /end ID

I think something that is getting lost in the AI conversation is that I think it's ok to hate AI on principle. It sucks and I think it's stupid and the environmental impact is bad yes but also AI is bad because I think it's fucking stupid and it can't make art.

Guy says he's wanted to see a live action version of Princess Mononoke for over twenty years. So, instead of spending time learning to make films and about cinematography and actually creating his own art?
He dumped some money into an AI generator to make a shot for shot remake of the trailer.
Dude decided the best way he could pay tribute to an iconic movie about the importance of the relationship between humanity and nature was to recreate it in a manner that includes no human actors and is an industry that is notoriously demanding devastating amounts of energy in the middle of a fucking climate crisis, this shit is beyond parody.

I swear to GOD it this series ends without Colin remembering or being shown concrete evidence of Laszlo taking Baby Colin in and raising him as his own son, of Guillermo putting his entire life[which he actually had a prospect of having for once] on hold so Baby Colin could have a Responsible Adult Presence in his life[aka Memo being the Mom who Stepped Up] and the entire household openly showing genuine care and affection for Baby Colin, solely because he was a helpless infant version of the Adult Colin Robinson they knew and loved.
I need Colin, who so often thinks that his Housemates dont care about him, dont even like him, to know how much they actually Love his stupid annoying ass.

While the Onion buying InfoWars is indeed extremely funny, very few of the posts I've seen commenting on the sale have mentioned that the families of the Sandy Hook victims apparently agreed to voluntarily reduce their lawsuit payout as part of a deal to ensure that the Onion would acquire InfoWars wholesale, rather than having the company broken up and auctioned off piecemeal, as the latter course could potentially have allowed some of those pieces to end up back in the hands of Alex Jones' cronies.
Like, yes, it is in fact very funny that InfoWars is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Clickhole, but the real props go out to the Sandy Hook families who saw the opportunity and willingly gave up the additional millions of dollars that could have been realised by stripping InfoWars for parts in order to make that happen.

Concept I've been stewing on for a while here. I've got a name for it now and I'm calling it the Shot Dog Factor. It's a numerical value, assignable to any internet post, which represents the average number of engagements it needs to reach before someone comes along acting like this post shot their dog.
And for the sake of High Number = More Danger, which feels like the intuitive and sensible read, let's call it the inverse. As in the chance that any given interaction results in a Shot Dog response.
"Hee hee haa haa" type of silly shitpost? Low Shot Dog Factor. Largely safe. A genuine political opinion? Critically high Shot Dog Factor. Guaranteed to elicit such a response if it breaks containment.
As a result of this phenomenon, you see phrasings and circumventions added specifically to lower the Shot Dog factor. Every "now I know this doesn't apply to EVERYONE'S specific situation, but I just think--" about something where the non-specificity was obvious, but OP needed to add that disclaimer to avoid the Shot Dog from someone who thinks it needs to apply to them.
And another--perhaps the most--critical thing to understand about the Shot Dog factor is that 0 is not a valid value. There's a discontinuation at 0. And as such, the Shot Dog limit, as engagement goes to infinity is, in fact, 100%. Any and every post you have ever made, given enough containment breaching, WILL piss someone off in wild ways. You can lower the Shot Dog factor but it is never 0. Sometimes when a post of yours escapes containment, you must simply sit back and accept this reality.

Over the last couple of years, I've been paying off some emergency dental work that I needed to get done, and I have about $1400 left to pay. In another couple of weeks, I have an appointment to get wisdom teeth removed, which I don't yet know the cost of.
A week ago, I was victim to a theft that took the majority of my savings. I really hate asking this, but I'm hoping to get some help with paying off my dental work, because I'm now in a much more precarious position. If you'd like to help, you can through my ko-fi, and I'm willing to give my Venmo (though it has my deadname on it). I'm willing to do some writings for anyone that helps out (and not just the smut that I normally do).
$0/$1400
