A pair of moths from the genus Ischyja (noctuidae). We spotted these moths while scouting the area surrounding the feeding grounds of a pair of Malayan palm civets. The female in the first pic was feeding on fallen fruit. The smaller and more vividly marked specimen is a male. I believe they might be Ischyja hemiphaea (though I welcome any feedback)

Ending the week with this dazzling find, an iridescent cockroach from the genus perisphaerus. If you think this roach looks vaguely like a millipede or a roly-poly bug you would be correct. When threatened, it was able to curl itself into a tiny sphere.
