You know what? Be “that kind of gay” if you want to.
Be that gay guy who loves fashion, dancing and pop music. Be that lesbian with a buzzcut and a black leather jacket. Be the walking stereotype.
Life is too short to be someone you are not, just because you’re desperately trying to avoid the stereotype. Dress the way you want to, love the things you love… and if that style and those passions happen to be “stereotypically gay”, that’s cool!
You don’t need serve as proof that “not all gay people are like that”. Be like that if it makes you happy! Your happiness matters more.
