You know those guitars with so much attitude that you almost project this limitation on it. Like there’s no way it can do something other than what it obviously excels at. The Gibson SG was always that guitar for me. Like Rock & Roll was a given but tasteful minimalist tone was a question. • A few years ago this SG traded into my hands as the new owner from a kid who just “didn’t like the brashness of the SG” for his blues playing. Said he prefers strats. We like what we like right? • It took all of 1 minute to feel how special this SG is. This is always in layered background textures in tracks that I record and it’s fantastic but I always envy those players that use it as a basis for songwriting. The @rpseffects Tremulus Maximus gets nice and choppy on the square wave or switch over to a more even triangle wave but the kicker here is the AUTO knob that dynamically changes the rate with your attack. He didn’t put the LED on top opting to have each side light up with internal LEDs instead. This is a crazy tremolo.
