We do deserve each other, by the way. You guessed right. You lied, by the way. You were going to kill my mother regardless. Yeah, I think you really liked hurting those men. And once you cross that line, you can’t ever go back.

Rewatching Victorious & reviving my first OTP... BADE!
I love these two together-- but i always fall for the dark/toxic couple troupe(not in reality, but in TV--just to make that clear),, anyways I was thinking about the break up... do you think the writers did it as a way to 'kill two birds with one stone'? And straighten out a couple of things in regards to Beck & Jade's relationship, and make it stronger? --ifully support the idea that Dan shipped BADE 😂--
1) My personal opinion-- To show the audience how BORIng, BORI really was... i've rewatched the episodes & to be completely honest, Avan and Victoria don't have as much chemistry as Liz and Avan,(outright, i said it)-- if anything Tori and Beck always seemed 'just friends', throughout the shows run, the almost kiss was out of the blue, and, i think... purposeful. The writers were teetering around the edges of it for so long; this godforsaken love triangle-- it could've been a way of finally bringing BORI to a close. They did it, and yet, Beck still chose Jade, and overall, the whole interaction felt forced and awkward. ~BORI is fin~. It was a way to finally put both of the characters into that 'possibly-romantic' position & to understand why they didn't work as a couple. Not just to the characters, but to the audience aswell, that kept screaming: "We want BORI!".
2) It allowed Jade to finally become a apart of the group{she seemed to intergrate better, without Beck hanging around & being the bridge between the two sides, she was thrown into the deep end, on her lonesome}, and it allowed Jade & Tori to finally become somewhat friends, which is what Beck ultimately always wanted. It also gave her chance to grow as a character-- her jealousy gradually stopped; after the realisation in 'Opposite Date'& you could tell that Beck was proud of her development. Yeah, he likes it difficult ("easy is boring"), but the jealousy & the conflict amongst their friends were big no-nos for him and caused most of arguments between the couple; Jade kept her personality(angry, forthright and dark), whilst overcoming these two inportant hurdles, allowing Beck and Jade to fix the divide/conflict between them.
The only issue i had with the breakup was BECK, yes BECK. He came to his sudden realisation about Jade; which was beautifully done by the way ~heart eyes~😍. Finally, understanding why he could never be with anyone else, but hell!
Jade moved mountains in character development, compared to Beck-- Beck "carried on doin' what he does", flirting& being emotionally stunted{which is cute, but not groundbreaking}. But he never fully understood WHY Jade felt as insecure as she did- it was brought up in Opposite Date, by a little, clearly MORE aware, child. I know, Dan Schneider had a jealous!Beck episode planned, which never happened due to Victorious' cancellation, but it would've been the last & final step along the way; a way for Beck to truly understand what it was like, to have the shoe on the other foot, as it were.
"I see what you did there writers" --knowing face.
RAMBLE OVER.
