going crazy over characters who see themselves as weapons finally meeting someone who sees past their blade. who looks at their hands drenched in blood and asks "what is wrong?" instead of "what did you do?". because that person knows that the blood on their hands never came from them, that being a weapon means that there is always a wielder. that they are not responsible for being kept sharp. that it isn't their fault they were never given a scabbard.
