i am genuinely curious about how sansa will become sansa stark because from what everyone suspects the marriage between her and harry will not happen. Tyrion is still alive, and she is still married to him, so she needs a good reason to reveal her identity to the vale to take back the north.

first, it needs to happen after the lannister regime falls. this way at the very least some can say "okay it was annuled" but no way it happens during tommen's reign i think. for sansa to regain her identity and go for north, she needs to have a reaction to something, where my best guess is she learns the bolton takeover/arya's marriage.

if she asks baelish and baelish does not reveal the truth to her, i feel like having her sister forcedly marry the boltons will snap her out of the alayne mindset. if baelish tells her about jeyne, then that will trigger her king's landing traumas, and force her to look at what littlefinger has done. i still think sansa will "slay" baelish in the vale, when the snow settles but not certain of it tbh

the real reason grrm is not able to write the rest of twow is because by killing catelyn he lost his main Adult Woman POV which nerfed his writing powers down. Writing cersei requires a level of insanity he must summon and asha and arianne are a different kind of Adult Woman. in summary i need catelyn stark back or i will perish

something something part of cersei’s hatred of margaery is that she seems to know how to use (and at times genuinely enjoy) the trappings of womanhood outside of simply beauty, the same trappings (queenhood, marriage, etc) cersei viewed as insults and coffins to her. the two are actually so similar (only daughters used to advance family status) but margaery doesn’t seem to hold the same bitterness and it drives cersei crazy

i was reading the lost lord chapter and realized that illyrio might have not intended for aegon to take the throne initially.

in here, the captain of the golden company relays that illyrio's first plan was to use dany to gain an army for viserys. we have known this since the first book from daenerys, but by planning to merge dothraki and the golden company, i think a few arguments on faegon might fall short and some musings on illyrio as well.

first, if viserys was legimately intended to be crowned, then there is no point for young griff to be raised this way unless he really is aegon. first i thought maybe illyrio planned on getting him into the family by marrying him with dany, but he married dany to drogo, so that falls short. crowning viserys and then usurping him with aegon would also be a dumb move after giving viserys the dothraki. maybe illyrio was just banking on gaining some gold and new positions through faking aegon? idk

this also disproves the "the golden company would never align themselves with the targaryens" because with this we see that yeah the golden company were approaching this with a red or black dragon, a dragon is a dragon mentality. they simply did not care at least in this much. i do think the "some contracts are written with blood" comment is still the biggest red flag for blackfyre aegon, because we know from this chapter that the golden company actually did need some explaining about who they were breaking a contract for, and i dont think they would care about just a targaryen that much.

i was thinking about how young griff might die and his relationship with dany and also the whole ticking jon con situation.

throughout adwd we constantly hear about misconceptions about dany, grotesque imagery about her at all times even when she is trying her best to be peaceful. we know that at the end of adwd she accepts herself as a dragon and embraces her "nature". this will only raise the rumors more and make them into..well. some part truths i guess. so why is this important?

i think aegon will die when joncon snaps and burns king's landing, but the blame will be put on dany. if this happens before the long night starts/dany comes to aid the north, then we can fully focus on the north and the long night itself, and allow rumors about a girl with three dragons who burned king's landing and now burns the north can be spread. if it's after the long night, aegon will be even more beloved by his folk and since dany would be known with her dragons and power already, people would be more inclined to believe that she used her dragons to burn kl.

joncon accidentally burning aegon would also parallel stannis intentionally burning shireen as well(shout out to that one comment that said jon was gay stannis)

i wish stannis was not such an annoying stubborn asshole at the start of adwd, he really could have actually helped with the food and fighting and reserve management for the night's watch and him and jon could plan for the best outcome for both sides. if i was jon and i had a mister siege-management right beside me who not only knew how to work through scarce food but also had enough men around him to command and group soldiers to find or hunt for food but all this dude did was grind teeth, insult me, and burn people i'd kill him in the first week
