Hey there! Wonder if that was explained somewhere already? During Game Informer coverage the first article stated that the Lighthouse is located in the Fade. Then it was retconed via X/Bluesky I think? - and said that it's actually on the Crossroads either by devs or GI guy. And now, during new IGN gameplay Epler said it's in the Fade yet again. I'm so confused((
hello! ◕‿◕ Ghil Dirthalen asked John Epler about this in this recent interview.
John Epler: "There’s, so, it is in the Fade. Where it is in the Fade and how it relates to the rest of the Fade is something that you discover over the course of the game. But, one of the things I’d say with Dragon Age: The Veilguard, with the Fade in particular is, everyone thinks they understand what the Fade is and we’re making it clear that, no, you’re just scratching, even Solas only knew so much about the Fade." This is probably just a fun Easter Egg but I noticed that his lady in the Gameplay Reveal looks a bit like Hira from Absolution!
hello! ◕‿◕ I wonder if this type of hairstyle (it's really pretty and the hair movement of it in the gameplay reveal video was amazing) is a common Tevinter style? ^^

Article from IGN today: 'BioWare Reveals All the Ways Dragon Age: The Veilguard Evolves Relationships, and Its Steamiest Romance, Too'
We dig into Dragon Age: The Veilguard's relationship mechanics with the help of its developers.
[source]
Some excerpts under the cut (in case it's spoilers to anyone), emphasis mine:
"“We really did want to keep them [the romances] relatable, more grounded. Some of them are quite sensual. Some of them are more physical, some are more romantic, some are more spicy,” says game director Corinne Busche of the variety of the game’s romances, “You may or may not wake up in a coffin.”"
I'm sorry wat :D
"“These are realized characters,” says Busche “They might express interest in Rook, and sometimes Rook will initiate. Maybe they initiate with Rook. Maybe you let them down. Maybe you commit to an exclusive romance with another one of the companions.” Don’t worry about leaving your friends out in the cold if you aren’t interested though. “They will find love in their own ways. Sometimes that means they'll find love with each other,” Busche explains. “When you make some of the truly gut-wrenching choices and you know that there's a romantic bond there, it makes those decisions just that much more difficult.”"

Excuse me as I go insane over the fact that Cybertron is an inorganic-organic hybrid planet

forever thinking about D-16’s “I want to kill him.” monologue. that initial line hit so hard. it was a line that made me think There He Is. because, yeah, that’s the megatron we know. that’s the megatron that worked in the mines, and when cybertron’s government turned its back on him, his rage won out. he devoted his life to something for nothing, for a world that didn’t give a damn about him. the story may have changed, but the essence of his origin is still there.

Honestly the whole “Megatron and Optimus used to have a deep and intimate friendship that was tragically torn apart by their inability to reconcile their differences in their responses to injustice” thing that’s become common in Transformers media is really good and adds a lot of needed nuance...
but honestly, you’ll never top G1 where Megatron simply said fuck this one dock worker in particular and then they didn’t stop punching each other for 4 million years
