Β Β Β β°βΒ π¨lways having a strange power over him, knowing his weakness, was a talent of the beastsβ. It was like she knew what could make him melt, give in to whatever she waned. It was his only goal; make sure she was happy. Fed, healthy, happy, SAFE. Even if in the valley, while surrounded Β by tumbling ruins, she kept him safe ββ he was the only taking spears from between her shoulder blades, patting them until she was calm. It was known now that they took care of each other. Thatβs how it was meant to be, they understood each other even without sharing a language.Β βM-My village, my ββ my father, he wants me home. He needs me home.β He mumbled, words still jumbled and quite slurred.Β βTrico, you M U S T take me back,β the boy demanded, he wanted to be home. He did like this strange place, this version of an Earth.
Β Β Β β β π»rico watches him closely, big eyes glowing green. She wishes there was a way for her to get them BOTH home, safe and sound and separated. Just like the boy had asked of her. She needs to get home to her young, itβs still only a baby and it NEEDS her. Sheβd do anything to get her boy back to his village and get herself back to the Valley.Β β I-I... I do not know HOW, Boy...Β β Her words are very choppy, her voice low like gravel. Almost resembling a growl.Β β What is... Your name? You... Ne..ver told me.Β β

to say claire was freaking out was an understatement, but she hid it well. after all, how she ended up in new york city of all places without even knowing how was already more than enough reason to worry. jody was going to KILL her; no question. she quickly spun around, hearing footsteps behind her. β β who goes there?! β she asked, her hand immediately rushing to her jacket pocket for her gun, but of course she didnβt have it with her.
Β Β Β β βΒ π»he ancient beast watches the blonde with a curious gaze, eyes glowing WHITE with interest. She doesnβt mean to snoop, and sheβs always been a curious thing. When she wasnβt brainwashed of course. Though the woman spins on her heel and startles Trico, eyes that glowed white with interest turn to pink in fear. A low growl emits from her throat, watching the blonde woman closely.Β β Tri... Co. I Trico.Β β

βwell, no. i know this isnβt spooksville, but i was in spooksville, and everything there is possible, so this doesnβt surprise me.β
Β Β Β β βΒ π»rico pulls her brows together at the womanβs words then, trying to process the information she was getting. Β β Everything..?Β β She asks softly, the irises of her eyes glowing a bright shade of white, as they would when she was interested in something.β That is... Weird.Β β

β°βΒ π―er words made his head spin, how did she know about what heβd done? How did she know about his accomplishments, about what happened after that. And, more importantly, how did her eyes change to the E X A C T colors that Tricoβs did. Where were the feathers, the talons, ββ this wasnβt her. He shook his head, tears welling up in his eyes as he looked into hers, the soft glow making his heart race.Β βΒ TRICO ββ I-I do notβ¦ β A marked hand rose to trace his fingers over her skin, missing the soft feeling of his her ruffled feathers.Β β How? β Am I here? Are you here? Are you human? Question that might never be answered, but ones that would PLAUGE him.Β β Di-Did you bring me here? βΒ
Β Β Β β βΒ π¨ pained noise falls past her lips when she sees the tears welling in his eyes, shaking her head slowly. The last thing she wanted was to make him C R Y. But he calls her Trico, finally, and it warms her heart. While Trico favoured her old body A LOT more, she could grow used to this one. Maybe. Sheβd miss her size and wings greatly, but things were changing. If only she could find her calf now... His hand comes up to touch her pale skin, and the ancient beast furrows her brows as she looks at the intricate tattoos along his arms.Β β I do not know, little one.Β β She shakes her head, looking at the boy again.Β β Of course I did not... You told me to go, I did... I stayed in The Valley, with my young, until I ended up here.Β β

Β Β Β β° β π»he stranger mustβve been playing some kind of prank on him, playing with his feelings in such a way was sick. It made him feel sick, imaging the creature doing the same, nudging him with her nose. Whining because they wanted food or they were HURT. But there was something that triggered him to think of the beast again, the femaleβs eyes, glowing a green color. Something heβd only seen Trico do; something that made his chest A C H E with memories flowing back. He wanted her to leave for a reason and this stranger was like them being back.Β β No, β he muttered, looking at them,Β β Tricoβ¦ isβ¦ BIG. β The words came out with force, wanting to reinforce that Trico was no human.Β
Β Β Β β β π―e told her to leave, she knows that. But itβs not her fault that they both ended up here. Trico just followed his scent until she found him. Sheβs getting agitated now that heβs in denial, but not enough that her eyes would change from green to magenta. She would never be angry with the boy, not unless she was under the control of the Master. But the boy had destroyed the Master of The Valley, Trico was CERTAIN of that.Β β Y E S.Β β She speaks with the same amount of force he did, watching him closely.Β β I TRICO.. You the boy who saved me... We... We fought together. Y O U defeated the Master... And I took you home.Β β

She and the other sit together, in a little bakery cafe, awaiting their orders to be brought to them. Not many others are there, a few couples and the staff. The two of them went up and ordered one at a time, mostly because the ballerina had insisted on it. She had a thought in her head at the time to play a guessing game later, if they wanted to. She is excited, more than anything, to be able to share this little place with the one across from her, this place that always smelled like baked sugar and reminded her of home (in a good way). The people were kind, and every visit before, she was always given a sample of something.Β ββ So, ββ she says, starting up a conversation with her melodic voice. A smile begins tugging at the corners of her mouth. ββ May I ask what you ordered? ββ Today she has finally decided on trying one of the cafes cupcakes, one of their most popular items.
Β Β Β β βΒ π»he ancient beast furrows hew brows as she looks down at the table theyβre sat at, a low grunt leaving her lips in response. Sheβs not sure about human etiquette, sheβs only ever been around the boy and he wasnβt exactly the spitting image of a perfectly mannered human. But sheβd been offered FOOD, of course sheβd follow. Eyes glow white, interested in what this place had to offer. It certainly SMELLS good, very different from what The Valley had to offer. Upon hearing the question, her head perks up, looking at the woman who had invited her along for a snack.Β β Co...ffee ca...ke.Β β She speaks slowly, trying to get a grasp on the English language.Β β What did... You order...?Β β

Β Β Β β°Β βΒ π»his strange world was the only thing that intimidated him at this point. Everything heβd been through up until now, heβd lived through. This was just different. He was constantly lost, strange symbols ( English ) that lined the walls, the streets. The boy has no idea what heβd been seeing, it was like a dream. A NIGHTMARE, maybe ββ there was no T R I C O here with him and that was the only thing that made him feel truly alone. As he tried to figure out the symbols on his own, he kept bumping into people, people who would yell at him and all he could do was put his hands up in defense; not being able to get the wordΒ βsorryβ out in time. ββ Feeling a body push against him, he jumped, looking at the other wincing a bit as she did.Β β What ? β He paused, lost eyes wide.Β β M-My friend Trico.Β β A stranger knew his friend, his lost eyes finally changing to else; DESPERATION.Β
Β Β Β β βΒ π―er face pulls into a frown as he winces, a low noise emitting from her throat, something that vaguely resembles the noises she used to make as the beast. Eyes glow a bright green, head moving to nudge against his arm again. Sheβs HAPPY and s a d at the same time, an unfamiliar pang in her chest when he doesnβt recognize her. This pain is different, something akin to what she felt when she brought him back to his village and clumsily flew off. After he told her to l e a v e.Β β Trico.Β β She mumbles again, the ancient beast looking at the boy with a scowl taking over her face.Β β I Trico.Β β

Β Β Β β β πΊhe catches his scent before she actually finds him. Though sheβs merely H U M A N now, the beast like senses still remain with her. Itβs all too overwhelming for this new body, but she follows her nose anyways. Of course she needs to find a way home, a way back to her calf, but that can wait right now cause there he is. Taller, face more filled out, more MANLY. He was no longer the little boy she had known, the little boy that had fed her and healed her, and if it wasnβt for the intricate designs along his body, she probably would have looked right past him.Β β B O Y.Β β She calls quietly, voice like gravel in her throat. Trico never got a name, though it didnβt matter. Not like she could ever call him by such anyways. Well, not before at least. She comes closer, her walk a bit awkward, before sheβs pushing her head against his tattooed arm.Β β Tri.. Co.Β β

sally looked around, confused for a few seconds.Β βwhat theβ¦ what?!β she turned in a circle, nothing looking familiar. she knew she wasnβt in spooksville anymoreβ¦ but where was she?Β βhow is this even possi β itβs spooksville, of course itβs possibleβ¦ god, iβm gonna β iβm gonna kill them,β she rambled.
Β Β Β β βΒ π»his CERTAINLY wasnβt The Valley anymore... Where was she? The Beast turns on her heel, a low grunt falling past her lips as she takes in her appearance in a nearby window. That was...
