Idk why but for somereason I had the urge to send this message. But I really love this story! Leaf is adorable and your art style is so.... yummy. It is so smooth and the colors are always perfect. This is so random and our of the blue- I never send asks, but idk. I just really felt like sending this I guess.

Making the dungeons feel like a zelda game was one of my main goals! It had to loosely follow the classic “solve puzzles > mini boss > get item > boss door > boss fight” pattern. But it also had to fit within my 10 page limit, so I a page or two of rough ideas didn’t make it in.

About the Comic

(Update Oct 2023 - Officially on Hiatus)

The Lost Kilns Comic is a Legend of Zelda AU fancomic. It was started on October 3rd, 2020, as part of a month long art prompt challenge hosted by @/linktober. The Linktober Quest 2020 prompt list to be exact. It was a spur of the moment decision to tell the story as a comic. The plan was to draw 1 or 2 pages for each of the 31 prompts. That uh... didn’t last for long. The projected length of the comic now sits at 300 pages long.

Hi!!! I love your au so far!! The art and the characters are amazing and I’m very excited to keep reading. Is there info that readers should know before hand or is everything explained through the newly released comics? (I was going to ask if leaf is a reincarnation of link) if this is a story that is explained as it goes I can wait :) I just want to make sure I haven’t missed info on a different blog. I tend to explain things as I release the chapters, so tumblr has all the info there is so far! However, if anyone is curious about anything feel free to ask! I will answer what I can, but I won't give away anything that might spoil the story later.
