justin t*mberlake is performing at the super bowl again and I’m sorry but I just can’t stop thinking about the fact that janet jackson was literally blacklisted from the music industry, the tv industry, the superbowl, and was publicly shamed/humiliated all over a wardrobe malfunction that happened over 10 years ago….. all over a covered nipple that was shown for 0.5 seconds….all over an action JUSTIN made……..not to mention t*mberlake’s music career skyrocketed and was continuously praised for his performance…..,, the hatred towards black women and a woman’s body was and is real af and that’s just not something I can stomach during this year’s super bowl performance

This show tackles really problematic issues and completes stamps on them. Ever wonder where the “cool motive, still murder” meme is from?! They have tackled racial profiling, racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, bullying. The list goes on and on. 

It has canon lgbt characters who are well developed and their sexuality isn’t the main factor of their personality. The “will they, won’t they��� relationship is developed naturally and both parties did not fall for one another at the same time. 

This show is so good and I would highly recommend watching it, I can assure you that you won’t regret it!

the jonas brothers paved the way for other boy bands. the jonas brothers got rid of the whole idea that choreographed dancing makes a boy band. they played REAL instruments. gave us hit after hit. when you look me in the eyes made every girl age 7-87 swoon. burnin up not only was a summer hit but also started the iconic niley/nelena love triangle. lovebug made every girl from age 7-87 swoon AGAIN. fly with me made us all nick stans for a month. they werent just musicians tho, they were ACTORS, PERFORMERS, and SONGWRITERS as well. gave us camp rock, camp rock 2, jonas, and jonas l.a. their 3D concer experience was a moment in time no one can recreate. nick doing a backhand spring during the instrumental break during Goodnight and Goodbye? bringing big rob out for his verse in burnin up? bringing out water guns and soaking the crowd? they knew how to put on a SHOW. not only did they write their own music from the START but also wrote on demi lovatos debut album. they were the biggest boy band of our generation and it is time for EVERYONE to recognize that.
