While I prepare and stress over the next update!

Was stressed the other day trying to prepare the next @thelegacylegacy update and I ended going to the gameplay Legacy Legacy save to check how things were going at the Gen 10-11 residency.

The cousins were being cute but then Karina got grumpy because her baby wolf fangs are growing and she was mean to poor Kora.

(ft Lèonie who can't believe she is the only human with a developed frontal lobe in that house)

Jamie: Yvette is not having luck finding allies and she wants me to send a message to the last vampire family that refused to help her

Samael: so... she wants you to be her goon, again

Jamie: yeah...

They started walking away from Jamie's victim, who was probably going to be out cold all night.

Samael: you know you can always say no, right? She can send someone else

Jamie: no way. Yvette has done so much for me, my loyalty is the least I can give her. It has to be me

Samael: and which family dared to reject Yvette this time?

Jamie: the Princetons...

Samael: those women who own the country club in Brindleton Bay?

Jamie: yes

Samael: oh, welp

Jamie: they have a daughter...

Samael: wait, she asked you to-

Jamie: -yes. We need to go to Britechester to leave a little message, whatever it takes

The redhead fell to the floor, unconscious, while Jamie continued to drink from him, until a voice made him stop.

???: there you are... as messy as always...

Jamie: Sam, I told you to leave without me

Samael: with vampire hunters on the loose? You know Yvette would have my head if anything happened to her dear heir

Jamie: ...

Jamie closed the boy's eyes and tried to clean the blood on his lips, annoyed.

Jamie: I don't need a nanny, I'm fine...

Samael walked closer while Jamie got up and pulled the boy against the wall.

Samael: really, another redhead? What is stressing you out this time?

After some seconds of silence, Jamie cursed out loud.

Jamie: ... it's Yvette

Jamie raised a hand and grabbed the boy's chin, staring pensively at him.

Redhead: what's wrong?

Jamie: just what I was looking for tonight...

Redhead: what?

Jamie's figure was surrounded by darkness for a second and then the redhead gasped in shock when he caught sight of the monster now standing in front of him.

Jamie: it's nothing personal...

And, before the other had time to scream, Jamie sank his fangs into his neck.

They had introduced each other in a bar that same night and the redhead couldn't believe his luck.

He had not only found a handsome and strong guy for himself, but he was also great at kissing?

If things kept going like that, they were not going to even reach his flat.

Redhead: who taught you to kiss like that? It's like you don't even need to breathe!

Hearing those words, Jamie de Lioncourt curled his lips on a smile.

Hundreds of kilometers away from there...

Hidden in a Spice District alleyway, two figures met in the dark.

But Apollo found a crack in Dido's spell and attacked again.

And that day, for the first time, he was able to win a duel against the Sage.

Dido got up with a grunt of pain and looked directly at Apollo, serious but with a glint of pride in her eyes.

Dido: congratulations, kid

Apollo: ha! I'm the best!

Her partner Fiufiu Sage of Mischief, arrived with a smile on their lips.

Fiufiu: that was impressive; you must have been practicing a lot

Apollo: every single day!

Dido: remember to save your energy! You are our best pupil, but you are still young and we have to be careful with magic

Apollo: I know

Dido: good

Fiufiu: now go, we know you must be very eager to go home

Apollo smiled but said nothing because it was true; he was exhausted, but he couldn't wait to be home with Jude and Lu.

Dido was ruthless and casted spell after spell while Apollo tried to protect himself and find a moment to attack her.

For a moment, he wished he had asked Rumi, the Practical Magic Sage, who was peacefully reading in the room next door.

Dido: come on, Apollo! I thought I taught you better than this!

Ok, that had hurt his pride.

Letting out a scream, Apollo threw a spell and his power clashed with Dido's in the middle of the air, making them both stumble for a second.

Apollo reached the Magic Realm and he stood in the center of the dueling circle, with his familiar by his side.

Then, a voice broke the silence of the room.

???: punctual, as always. Are you ready?

Apollo: I was born ready

Dido, Sage of the Untamed Magic, smiled briefly before getting into an attacking stance and starting to charge her wand. Apollo lifted his in response.

Dido: great, then show me what you got, kid

(Un)fortunately, that morning was different.

Apollo hoisted Luzía up like she weighted nothing and plopped her down on Jude's lap, letting out a sigh.

Apollo: You two keep going, I have places to be today

Luzía: the Magic Realm again?

Apollo: yup

Jude: you have been there all week...

Apollo: well, someone has to help me train and it sure as hell can't be Romain or Dorian... those two know a lof of theory, but they are hopeless at magic duels

Luzía: your loss, then!

She pounced on Jude, who let out a surprised squeak before enthusiastically kissing her back and not even that image could deter Apollo (who actually wanted nothing more than to stay and join their smooching session).

Apollo really needed to practice if he wanted to become part of the Magic Realm elite; it was his responsibility as a Faust and he was not going to be the first failure of his family.

Luzía's breathless little laughs woke Apollo up and he turned to the other two, staring at them with a small smile on his lips.

Apollo: what are you two up to?

His hand slipped to the front of Jude's pyjamas and his smile grew, triumphant, when he saw him close his eyes and whimper.

Jude: you are an asshole...

Apollo: oh, really? Should I leave you alone, then?

Jude: don't you dare!

But Jude wished he had answered differently when Luzía decided to join Apollo.

He both loved and hated how the other two seemed to read each other's minds and united forces to torture him.

Life was being kind to Jude.

His life had taken a turn and now he spent his nights and mornings observing Lu and Apollo, involved in their scent, and wondering how he could be so lucky.

Not being able to sleep had its perks: he could be the first to see the other two awake in the morning and, if he was feeling cheeky, be the one to wake them up.

Jude caressed Lu's shoulder and smiled when he felt her tremble slighty.

Jude: morning, beautiful

Luzía: mmm...
